Scenic calm place. Yes, no signal whatsoever. A nice lake ranger came by and told me that the lake is privately owned for salmon fishing. Please don*t bathe in it or canoe on it.
Seul au monde au bord d'un lac, aucune nuisance. Nous sommes passés en camping-car comme le montre la photo, il suffit d'y aller doucement pour le plaisir des yeux.
Only in the world at the edge of a lake, no nuisance. We went by camper as shown in the photo, just go slowly for the pleasure of the eyes.

L'endroit, charmant, était occupé par un troupeau de vaches avec 2 veaux. Le fermier est passé plusieurs fois sur la route donc il faut se garer sur le côté qui peut être très humide. Nous nous sommes donc installés de l'autre côté du lac ( il suffit de traverser le pont, il y a un emplacement que j'ai signalé). Le cadre est superbe et très tranquille.

Petit coin de paradis au bord d’un lac au milieu des moutons. Pas évident à trouver le GPS lui même était perdu, suivre le GPS arrivé à la maison blanche sur votre droite continuer tout droit sur le petit chemin et vous arrivez sur le lac. Magique !

Loved this place. Amazing views. Surrounded by sheep so may not be suitable for dogs off the lead. Spoke to locals who mentioned that this is on private land but no signs that you cannot stay. So respect the place and keep it the way you find it that we all can return. It got quite busy last night (7 cars/vans) but still worth it.

Road is small and barely used but still asphalt. as with many small county roads in Ireland be warned of scratches, and don't drive down them if you are afraid of backing up long distances to the nearest lay-by. I did not meet any traffic and it's unlikely you will either. I was not able to get a phone connection right near the lake, but there was full bars 3g just 1-2km down the road

Seuls au monde (mais avec un van de français comme nous ! ;). Aucun service évidemment, route très petite pour y aller, parfait pour récupérer thé gap of dunloe.
