Westerbergen offers spacious camping options for motorhomes! All camping pitches are spacious enough for a motorhome, tent, or caravan. There are two sanitary buildings available for guests on the campsite. The pitches range from standard and comfort to comfort plus. Prefer private sanitary facilities? Our campsite also features pitches with private sanitary facilities! From summer 2026, the premium pitches offer extra comfort with a private refrigerator and dishwasher. With a motorhome, it may be more practical to choose a corner pitch. You can view all pitches on the map. Sanitary building 1 features a motorhome service station. Drenthe is the cycling province par excellence; you will find more than 1,700 km of cycle paths there. Thanks to the many facilities, swimming pools, entertainment & recreation, sports and play facilities, and cozy hospitality venues, our campsite is the ideal destination for a camping holiday in Drenthe. Take a dip in the pool, join in the most fun activities organized by the animation team, play together in the Entertainment Center, and enjoy a delicious meal in our cozy restaurant. Small farm campsite on the water's edge in Hempens, just 5 km from the center of Leeuwarden, in the heart of Friesland (Netherlands/Holland). We are located directly on the Nauwe Greuns waterway, which connects to the Frisian Lakes and the De Alde Feanen National Park. From your pitch, head out onto the water by boat, canoe, or paddleboard (rentals available on site). A mooring pontoon is also available. Large pitches for motorhomes with electricity, just steps from the water (motorhomes up to 7 m; over 7 m, a simple phone call is all it takes). We also have green pitches for tents, caravans, and folding caravans, as well as seasonal pitches. Dogs are welcome (on a leash). Amenities: Clean sanitary facilities with showers and toilets, accessible toilets, dishwashing sink, washing machine and dryer, electricity on many pitches, and free Wi-Fi. Drinking water and wastewater disposal available. Online booking possible. Check-in from 2 pm to 10 pm – earlier or later? Just give us a call. A friendly, quiet, and spacious location with the wide-open views typical of Friesland – “Little Sweden by the water.” Horses, goats, and chickens live on the farm, and you sleep among old fruit trees in the orchard. The nearby Pylkwier forest invites you for a stroll; cycle paths cross the polders to Wergea, Wirdum, and Goutum. Fishing and swimming are possible by the water – ideal for nature lovers, water sports enthusiasts, and families. Leeuwarden (Fries Museum, Oldehove Tower, historic center) is about a 15–20 minute bike ride or a 10 minute drive away. Supermarket, shops, and snack bars are about a 5-minute bike ride away (Zuiderburen). Nightly rates start from: €5 per person (children up to 12 years €2.50), campervan or tent €5, caravan €10, electricity €5, dog €2.50, tourist tax €1.65 per person. Camperpark Assen The surroundings of Camperpark Assen offer the best of both worlds: peace and nature, but also liveliness and conviviality close by. Hop on your bike and within minutes you are in the middle of the beautiful Drentsche Aa National Park. A unique landscape with winding brooks, heathlands, and characteristic villages, ideal for walking or cycling. If you head the other way, you will be in the center of Assen within 8 minutes. Here you will find shops, terraces, and culture, such as the Drents Museum and theater De Nieuwe Kolk. There is also plenty to experience in terms of events. Visit the lively Grolloo Blues Festival, the Roldermarkt, and the Rolder Summer Festivals, or experience the atmosphere of the famous TT Festival in Assen. You can also get around perfectly well here without a car: public transport (bus and train) is within easy reach. Whether you come for nature, culture, events, or simply to do absolutely nothing, here you will find all the space to shape your stay exactly as you wish.

We have 50 camper pitches, where you can choose whether you want to be directly on the (water)way, at the marina or on the lawn at the harbour (close to the sanitary building). All pitches are equipped with electricity poles (10 Amp). There are camper pitches directly on the waterway, where fishermen can fish to their heart's content. These are also beautiful places to enjoy the passing boats! Be sure to bring your bike! From the camper pitch you are directly on the beautiful cycle paths that lead you through the beautiful Frisian Woods area! There are also garden benches everywhere, which everyone can use. You can also rent a sloop from us to discover the beautiful surroundings from the water! We are open from 15 March to 1 November. It is not possible to reserve a camper pitch.
