Cassaro, Strada Provinciale 45

We didn't stay, only stopped to cycle in the reserve. You need to email to get a permit to cycle (see photo). Spot seems good, right by the road but not busy. Nice and sheltered.

Una nottata tranquilla, a bordo strada ma dopo una certa ora non c'è più passaggio di auto e si dorme bene.

Parkplatz direkt an der Straße, hatten uns mehr Einsamkeit und mehr Natur, Abgeschiedenheit vorgestellt, sind deshalb weitergefahren

Clean, safe, quiet, we met nice people there.

We had a good stormy night here hiding from 30kt gusts. It's well sheltered and absolutely perfet for accessing the old train track path which, although not the most prominent attraction locally, is great for accessing the park without encountering any steep gradients (once parked). The only negative was the early wake up from the workers fixing the closed road bridge on the SP45.

Lovely cycle route. Be aware that on this date the SP45 from the south was closed due to damage. Look out for closure signs just off the SP124.

Parking calme dans la montagne, un peu de circulation sur la route d'à côté. Une petite rivière en bas mais on n'a pas trouvé comment y accéder. Bonne nuit au frais
