Beautiful and quit spot next to medieval ruins. Yet we were chased away by an unfriendly elderly lady. I believe she lives in a house nearby, because she arrived on foot. May life teach her kindness, hospitality and generosity. We moved to another place...

Für unseren Geschmack etwas zu eingezwängt im Tal und zu viele Mücken, dafür aber windgeschützt und mit der Möglichkeit, sich im Bach zu waschen. Ebener Untergrund, nichts für große Camper - schmale Zufahrtsstraße!

Not planned but stayed for 3 nights because it was so peaceful and lovely. Great walks nearby, would recommend staying parked there for the day and walking down over to the abbey takes about 20-30mins or a 3 min drive but the carpark is 3 pounds. Beautiful, quiet and there is a litterbin and clean toilets in the abbey parking lot 3 min drive away!

Lovely spot. Slept the night there with no problems - very peaceful. About a mile to walk into Tintern for the Abbey, pubs and food - or a similar distance the other way to a local pub. Lots of rabbits around the van in the morning.

Lovely little spot! Can hear the trickling of the stream nearby. Not a huge amount of space but can happily fit a few campers and easy to turn around. Roads are a bit narrow on the way but quite quiet.

Lovely spot for a night or two - very quiet at night, barely anyone using the country lane nearby. Not loads of space, maybe enough for 3 vans maximum whilst remaining respectful to others who may want to park there. Nice stream, ruins and fishing pond surrounding it all.

Great place to stop for a couple nights. The abbey is huge and the devil polpit walk is great for views of the abbey
