Grand parking sur la route principale. Il se trouve à 300 mètres à l'ouest du parking principal de l'Etna, où vous paieriez 12 € pour un camping-car. Ce parking gratuit offre une vue magnifique sur les pentes sud de l’Etna et sur la côte. Vues sur les flancs sud de l'Etna et des champs de lave. 5 min à pied de la télécabine. Si vous avez l’énergie, montez plutôt sur la voie principale et visitez le cratère et les crêtes à l’est de la station de téléphérique au sommet. Une fois le trafic touristique arrêté au coucher du soleil, la route est très calme. Il y a beaucoup plus de très grands parkings plus bas sur la route en direction ouest également.

Large parking area off the main road. It’s 300m west of the main Etna car park where you would pay £12 for a camper. This free parking area has fabulous views down the south slopes of Etna to the coast. Views up the south flanks of Etna too and lava fields. 5 min walk to the cable car. If you have the energy though hike up the main track instead and visit the crater and ridges to the east of cable car station at the top. Once tourist traffic stops at sunset the road is very quiet. There are many more very large parking areas further down the road heading west too.

Se hai l'energia, invece, sali sulla pista principale e visita il cratere e le creste ad est della stazione della funivia in alto. Una volta che il traffico turistico si ferma al tramonto, la strada è molto tranquilla. Ci sono molte altre aree di parcheggio molto grandi più avanti lungo la strada in direzione ovest.
