No height limit and quiet car park in the middle of a park. Car park busy in the afternoon with sports clubs and dog walkers but emptied out at night. Felt safe as in the middle of nice housing.
Ideal for a couple of nights. Very quiet night. A few dog walkers early morning. Short walk into town. Coffee stall also in carpark but unfortunately toilets are closed. We got water and emptied waste in toilets when passing through Seaton Sluice 2 miles away. Whitley Bay doesn't appear to welcome mohos. This was the only accessible parking in area.
This spot is lovely but definitely came on the wrong day, must be football on a Wednesday, car park full to the brim really busy, can’t even try to leave as too many cars unable to get out.
Flat car park next to recreation ground. Really quiet. A few dog walkers around and houses next to the park but not close enough to see/be seen. Feels very safe. Easy 15 min. cycle down to the front/Spanish City, less than half an hour to walk. Some shops nearby too. Also very near to a Metro station so you could easily get into Newcastle too.
