We stayed in our van one night. the price is £35 and it includes electricity. Even if you (like us) don't need, since all piches are with. Facilities are underwhelming. kitchen fits MAYBE 3 people and only has a microwave and a HOT water dispenser. Showers and toilets (2 of each) are ok, but you better want hair washing cause the temp is fixed and showerhead too. overall is ok, but overpriced!
Ho fatto un’esperienza di camping con la mia motorhome qui al Glenshiel ma è stata drammatica. Non abbiamo potuto sfruttare minimamente lo spazio esterno per colpa dei midges. Lo spazio era letteralmente invaso e nonostante avessimo le zanzariere alcune sono entrate nel veicolo e non ci hanno fatto dormire. Il resto dei servizi, seppur non pulitissimi, c’erano come da descrizione.

Nice and quiet little campsite. Very kindly welcomed by Sue. £20 a night (rebate from the list price possibly due to an issue in the toilets) for a van and 3 persons and with all usual camping services and the socket for the electricity. A good place to stay on your road to the inland when you come late from the Isle of Skye.
Petit camping, sanitaires propres mais que 2 douches femmes et 2 douches hommes. Kitchenette avec micro onde. Terrain peu idéal quand il pleut. Les campeurs en tenue doivent laisser le véhicule sur le parking à l’extérieur.

Toller kleiner Platz mit großen Parzellen. Direkt am Wandergebiet wo man wirklich die Weiten der Highlands hat. Wirklich toll! Sue ist der herzlich und man fühlt sich willkommen. Sanitär etwas alt aber sehr sauber!
Netter, ordentlicher Campingplatz mit 16 riesigen Stellplätzen. Zeltcamper müssen draußen parken. Saubere Sanitäranlagen, unbedingt vorher online buchen. Wir bekamen am Vortag den letzten freien Platz. Nach 20 Uhr darf man nicht mehr auf den Platz fahren. Schöne Wandermöglichkeit. Viele Midges, also Zelter Schutz mitnehmen.£35,- für 2 mit Strom. Die Straße hört man etwas. Rauschender Bach.

Lovely little campsite. Nice and quiet and Sue was very friendly receptionist showing us where everything was on the site. Nice large flat pitches and everything you need washer dryer and a microwave. We stayed one night and walked away from the campsite and wow what views and the stream that runs next to the site is so clear and beautiful an amazing place to stay.

AMAZING experience. We were newbies and she helped us with absolutely incredible hospitality. The site is super quiet in the mountains and super well located next to Eilean Donen. Private hot showers, super clean bathrooms and a kitchen to heat everything. You don't have to pay extra for electricity, and it has all the facilities. Hopefully we can come back one day. In short, it is perfect.

Camping au top l’électricité est inclus dans le prix, accueil chaleureux, super balades à proximité. Les sanitaires sont impeccables et la douche est chaude.
Total ruhige Umgebung, viele schöne Wanderwege. Ende September waren dort nur ganz wenige Camper und eher Einheimische, mit denen man gut ins Gespräch kommt. Wir haben sehr spontan online gebucht und die Dame am Check-In war super freundlich. Der Schokoladenshop an der Hauptstraße scheint jedoch nicht mehr in Betrieb zu sein.

Unkomplizierte und spontane Buchung online, easy Check-In. Viel Platz zu den anderen Campern. Bad inkl. Duschen und Toiletten war bei uns sauber & beheizt. Kleine Küche zum spülen oder Essen aufwärmen (Mikrowelle) vorhanden.
schöner kleiner Platz mit großen Stellplätzen. Sehr netter Empfang und eine spontane Übernachtung war kein Problem. Wer ein Problem mit spinnen hat sollte hier allerdings das Waschhaus meiden. Eine Toilette spült garnicht. Ansonsten aber sauber.

Big spaces for vehicles, clean facilities, shower water with good temperature, easy booking online BUT a lot of midges, even some in the bathrooms. Only go there if you don't need to go outside much during your stay or if you are properly equipped against the midges.
Pochi bagni, acqua a tratti fredda. Purtroppo il campeggio è invaso da moscerini, ma è la stagione.
Super nette Inhaberin. Toiletten und Duschen tiptop. Sehr sauber, warm und schön hergerichtet. Platz liegt schön in den Bergen. Sofort wieder.
Piccolo campeggio immerso nella natura, abbiamo prenotato online il giorno prima senza problemi. Bagni piccoli (solo 2 docce) ma puliti e ben tenuti. All’arrivo abbiamo scelto autonomamente dove posizionarci.
Hele fijne camping. Klein maar erg goed. Wij hebben een dag van te voren geboekt en dat was maar goed ook. Alles zat erbij.
Super toller Platz mit wenigen Stellplätzen, alles vorhanden was man benötigt. Bei gutem Wetter hat man einen super Blick auf die Berge, man kann auch direkt vom Platz aus los wandern. Wir waren bereits letztes Jahr dort und wollten dieses Jahr unbedingt wieder dort einen Stopp machen. Im Vergleich zum letzten Jahr hat sich sogar ein bisschen was getan und die Sanitäranlagen wurden modernisiert.

Uns hat der Campingplatz hier sehr gut gefallen. Es ist zwar etwas einfacher, dafür sieht man wie viel Liebe drin steckt. Die Betreiber waren super lieb, die Umgebung war sehr schön und der Platz war, auch wenn er nicht weit weg von einer Straße liegt, relativ ruhig.

Schöner Platz in der Natur für eine Nacht. Die Strömung vom Bach war sehr stark. Die Duschen waren leider sehr eng und man konnte die Temperatur vom Wasser nicht einstellen. Für unser Empfinden war es viel zu heiß.
Accueil très sympathique dans ce petit camping non loin de l'entrée sur l'île de Skye. Les douches sont parfaites et l'ensemble des sanitaires est bien tenu. La possibilité de réserver en ligne est aussi intéressante. 27£ pour un camping-car avec électricité pour 2 personnes. Possibilité de faire le plein d'eau et de vidanger les eaux noires.

We literally went online & booked in half an hour beforehand. Brill Black & Grey disposal. Water top up. Waste bins all nearby.
Spitze! Wir hatten einen auffallend netten Kontakt mit dem Betreiber des sauberen Campingplatzes. Klein aber fein!!! Wir durften trotz Weiterreise duschen und Frischwasser auffüllen und haben ihm Geschenke da gelassen. Toilette und Dusche (nur sehr warmes Wasser) sind sauber.

Nous nous sommes arrêtés avant Skye c’était parfait. L’endroit est magnifique les emplacements pas proches. Possibilité de booker en ligne. Les sanitaires sont propres. Il y en a peu mais le camping est petit.
Deuxième arrêt dans cet adorable camping. Malheureusement peu de respect de la part de certains camping-cars et voitures qui n’hésitent pas à s’installer sur votre place malgré votre présence (c’est vrai que les places sont grandes, mais quand même !). Les drains de douches se bouchent tout le temps. Le vidange des eaux grises se fait devant la chocolaterie dans la bouche d’égout… très limite.
Situation magnifique entre montagne et rivière a l’entrée de l’isle de Skye, la personne de l’accueil est très sympathique. Quelques midges en soirée

ottimo posto sosta con elettricità e carico/scarico. piazzole ampie. accesso dopo registrazione all ingresso dal sito internet del campeggio. reception aperta dalle 17 alle 20. scarico acque grigie a terra davanti al blocco dei servizi o nella piazzola di sosta. molto silenzioso. possibilità di kneipp o bagno nel fiume adiacente con facili punti di accesso e piscine naturali.
Wat een heerlijke camping. Prachtige plekken voor zowel tenten als campers. Eenvoudig sanitair wat enige reparaties kan hebben maar mag niet klagen voor £27. Vanaf de camping kun je een wandeling maken over de Hochals Trail
Excellent value for money. Small site, easy check in, clean facilities. Beautiful scenery all around and lovely path up the back of the campsite (following small river) which gave fantastic views all around.

Great little place with a fantastic surrounding view. We turned up in our van and there was nobody there at reception but has a QR code to book online, which we did there and then, found a pitch and settled in for the night. Has chemical disposal, toilets, shower, outside tap and electric hookups (which we didn't need). Very quiet site.
Sehr schön aufgebauter, kleiner Platz. Wir haben online gebucht und uns spät am Abend dann selbstständig einen Stellplatz gesucht. Schön gelegen, die Straße ist nachts ruhig. Sanitär sauber und super Wasserdruck in der Dusche! Kann man auch was länger bleiben und von dort direkt loswandern.

Kleiner, überschaubarer Campingplatz, alles da was man braucht, buchen und bezahlen bei Ankunft über die Homepage des Platzes, dann drauf fahren Platz aussuchen und fröhlich sein. Die Hauptstraße ist zu hören, sonst aber ganz schön gelegen.

Very peaceful, small and quiet campsite. The location is simply stunning, being surrounded by mountains. On top of that only a 15 minute drive to Eilean Donan Castle! Didn't meet the owners since we arrived after 19:00, but we were able to choose a spot by ourselves. Facilities are clean and free (!) and no need to book in advance (we booked on the day itself in May).

Great parking area. Was there with an RV. The downside is that we could not fill the water or empty the gray water as our hole that was provided by the rent company didn’t fit the source (would recommend the owner to place a hole there ) also could not find the gray water area

A very nice and quiet spot. Good amenities and easy to find. Could use a bit more cleaning in the sink area.
Toilets and shower were clean. Dog friendly and lovely site manager great base to explore before heading onto Skye. Added bonus that they take chemical waste as very limited on some other sites up this way.

Amazing location among the mountains. Hot showers and clean bathrooms. We weren't able to empy the grey water and fill the clean water; when we entered the facility we weren't even given a map or indications, so maybe we just couldn't find the right place to do that.

Such a nice little campsite. the staff are super friendly and the view is amazing. there's a little path up the mountains leading to a fantastic spot to watch the sunset! Facilities were clean and modern. Online Check-in possible, but if you get a chance have a chat with the manager, she's lovely.

Fantastic new owners who were so nice. I’m the only one on site because technically closed for the season but they own the chocolate shop at the front. Only open fri/sat for the winter so it was lucky I caught them on the right day. Amazing cake too. Had to buy one. Great sheltered spot between the mountains and on the main road to Skye. Brilliant!

Stayed here last night. Yes facilities were limited, hard standing and electric only due to Covid 19. Tell you what though, beautiful walks up the hill behind the site go on for miles. For £17.50 for the night I was well happy. Beautiful setting and secure.
Facilities not open and not even able to empty waste and fill water so didnt bother staying. Basically £17.50 to stay in a field. Didn't find owners particularly friendly or helpful either.
Lovely location. Site a bit run down. £17.50 for a motorhome with electric. No facilities due to covid, but water available at the rear of the petrol station. Good data on Vodafone, ok on three network

Courant eau potable et sanitaires basiques. Possibilité de faire laver son linge par le gérant de la station service. Camping au pied de magnifiques montagnes, randonnées sympas depuis ce site et nous avons rencontrés beaucoup d'animaux (cerfs, moutons)
