This site is really great with this small lake and its large lawns where children play. Several archaeological curiosities to discover. Playground available 10-4. And lovely walks around the lake. Dieser Ort ist wirklich toll mit diesem kleinen See und seinen großen Rasenflächen, auf denen Kinder spielen. Mehrere archäologische Kuriositäten zu entdecken. Spielplatz von 10 bis 16 Uhr verfügbar. Und schöne Spaziergänge um den See. Kein mobiler Service. Kaffeewagen da.

We were looking for a nice quiet place in the country for an overnight. We turned into this site by a lake and the place was jammed with people. It was a 28 degree sunny day so everyone was out enjoying the day. At first we were a bit disappointed but then enjoyed seeing everyone having a good time. Gradually people thinned out and we were able to find a nice spot to park. Recommend.
very nice quiet area overlooking the grass. there was no one else here but me. people were there until late in the night but they left around 9pm and then I was alone. left at 8 am in the morning and no one else was there. easy to get to, nice road leading up to it. I would recommend.
Très grand parking calme après la tombée de la nuit, quelques jeunes qui se réunissent en voitures dans la soirée mais pas dérangeants. Toilettes publiques accessibles entre 9h45-20h45. Des petites poubelles sont disponibles devant le kiosk à café lui-même ouvert entre 10h-17h. Un point d’eau est disponible pour remplir des gourdes (pas plus grand) à côté du même stand. Aucun réseau mobile.
Big carpark, quiet at night, but busy during the day with locals coming for a walk. Starting point to lovely forest walks. Small coffee shop, tourist centre and playground nearby. Toilets open until 9pm. We had a very good night there.
Stayed 2 nights. Gorgeous place and felt very safe. Glad to have the public toilets and enjoyed paddle boarding on the lake

Toller Übernachtungsplatz mit Seeblick. Übernachten / Camping nicht verboten. Der Wärter des Besucherzentrums hat sogar extra die WCs für uns aufgelassen Wir hatten eine rugige Na ht. Morgens dann Jugendgruppen, die Zelte sufgebaut haben und Kanu gefahren sind bzw. Wanderer. Gebiet gut zum Wandern , Kanu und SUP.
Decent night sleep here. A few boy racers hanging about in the evening but it was quiet after 10pm.
Such a wonderful peaceful, scenic spot. I was so disappointed to have to leave because there is absolutely zero 4g signal anywhere - even with an external antenna. Trust me, I combed every inch of the carpark! So this place is out for nomads/remote workers, I'm afraid. I plan to return someday in the future when I'm a billionaire man of leisure and such considerations no longer matter...
Cracking place to stay. No overnight no parking signs. One no tent symbol for lake carpark.
Large carpark with no view available for overnight stays. Smaller carpark with lake views no overnight stays. Toilets open until 9pm. Playground (open 10-4pm) and lovely walks around lake. Lots of activities in morning and dog walkers around but very quiet area.
Auf dem hinteren Teil des Parkplatzes ein Schild, dass overnight parking verbietet. Etwas unklar, ob es nur für den hinteren Teil oder den gesamten Parkplatz gilt. Toiletten ca. zwischen 21 Uhr und 9 Uhr morgens geschlossen. Ansonsten ein sehr schöner Ort mit Picknick Bänken und Blick auf den See.
Parfait bel emplacement avec une très belle vue, table disponible wc fermé la nuit, nous y avons passés la nuit sans aucun problème, stationnement entièrement gratuit
Parfait, terrain plat beaucoup d'espace et calme. Accès aux WC et lavabo Balade sympa à faire autour du lac
The spot where you can park your camper is under the trees and doesn't have a view. There is not a single patch that is really even. The park around the lough is very nice. Lots of coming and going during the day until well into the night.
Bastante inclinado; difícil nivelar incluso con calzos. El grifo de agua ha sido suprimido. No hay conexión a Internet. Por contra, sitio bonito y tranquilo.
Loved this spot. Arrived just before dark on a Sunday evening, the only people around were a few locals having a chat, friendly folk. Toilets were nice and clean (closed every day at 9pm-9am). Such a wonderful place to stay overnight. It does say no over night stays but when the local Garda turned up and knocked on the van he just wanted to check we were ok, said no problem to stay just wanted to check as the van didn’t look like a camper.
An absolutely stunning location with fascinating archeological monuments. I stayed the night here tucked away in the large carpark on a Saturday and even though the area is pleasant it was busy until around 11pm and there was an abundance of young, noisy, suspicious drivers hanging around until 3am. Nobody bothered us but it wasn't a relaxing experience. Recommended for the sights and monuments.
Beautiful location with stunning views. Toilets open in the daytime. We stayed for a couple of nights out of season with no bother. Water available at the back of the toilet block from the outside tap.
