super emplacement pour dormir tranquille et à l'abri du vent contre un repas pris au pub qui fait comme s'est indiqué le meilleur fish and chips. merci pour votre accueil

Nous avons dîné le meilleur fish and chips du séjour puis dormi à l arrière du restaurant. C est un parking sans service mais cela permet de profiter du dîner. Merci pour cet accueil.

Class! A spot is yours if you eat at the cafe which is no hardship as the fish and chips are the best I can remember eating. The town itself is lovely. We walked to the lake and had a wash and a swim. You will need to pay to have the automatic barrier raised on leaving.

Great central location. Good food and beer available in the cafe which is reasonably priced. Will call again.

Lovely parking area round the rear of cafe. You need to. Purchase a meal to stay free. But lovely owner and jolly music too.

a lovely quiet spot in the middle of town. free park up if you have a meal. the owner was very friendly and helpful. a true gent.

A great experience. The village is beautiful. A safe and quiet parking area for vans. Overnight parking included in the price of a meal.

Impresionante pueblito que merece una parada obligatoria. El sitio es un pub donde te ofrecen pasar la noche a cambio de tomar algo ahí y el dueño es una de esas personas que te hacen plantearte el vivir en Irlanda, nos dio la bienvenida como si fueramos vecinos de toda la vida y enseguida nos dio recomendaciones sobre nuestra ruta y qué no podíamos perdernos.

Mooi plekje achter het café op een vlak stuk asfalt. Leuk dorpje, waar je vanalles kunt kopen. Lekker gegeten in het café. Grote portie patat met gebakken vis. Goede bediening. Mooi dat er dit soort plekken zijn voor de camper bezitters.

bien mangé service très correct par contre manger juste pour se garer...pas d'intérêt...

I'd would ring ahead or email to book as this place is fantastic. Dessie the owner and he does everything is great. He couldn't be more helpful or fun. The fish and chips lived up to the sign and are the best we've had. The town is lovely, Tescos and lots of interesting local shops. We did a bike ride and got some fantastic views of the lake (6 miles round trip). The car park slopes but is fine.

Très bon accueil, Nous avons passé une excellente soirée et nuit tranquille. Je recommande.

Reasonably quiet and felt quite safe. The cafe was closed but was able to park up for the night anyway.

Hi all, I stayed at this location Tuesday 18/10/2022. I am touring out of the main session so the cafe was only going to be open weekends. That said having rang ahead the owner Dessie said I could still park up for the night. Water was still available.

good stop for the night, water available, no other services.in middle of town but quiet overnight as you park at rear. nice fish/chips/pizza. owner with good sense of humor and a really wicked laugh

Parking calme. Le patron du restaurant nous a autorisé à rester stationné sur le parking durant la nuit (nous avons mangé au restaurant). Restaurant très bon et super sympa pour les enfants (possibilité de jouer aux Legos). je recommande.

Leider war das Café zu weshalb wir nicht an den Platz stehen konnten. Kamen zwar erst gegen 19:45 an, dennoch war die Einfahrt mit einem Tor verschlossen. Schade

brilliant stopover in the heart of Oughterard. delicious fresh traditional fish and chips. Desi and staff very welcoming. Made us feel very welcome on arrival. tap available. quiet by night. tight turn in but we made it in our 2.35 metre motorhome. we'll be back.

a great little spot for an overnight stay. as others have said; great fish and chips and a warm and friendly welcome are waiting for you here. its a tight turn into the car park, but it's worth it. slap bang in the middle of the village, yet quiet and safe.

It was a little tight to manoeuvre our van in here. We stopped for a few hours to have a rest, take on water and got some excellent chips. The cafe owner is very friendly but it seemed like it was going to get noisy with teenagers gathering around 6pm on a Friday so we moved on.

Had a peaceful, quiet sleep protected from the wind. It was a Friday night so there were a few loud people drinking nearby until around midnight but they didn’t bother us and weren’t loud enough to disturb our sleep.

Les commentaires précédents sont bien. Le Fish and chips a 19 € par personne ça fait cher juste pour un stationnement sans service.Le patron à trouvé le bon filon avec les camping caristes.

Parking offert pour la nuit si vous mangez au camp street café. très bon fish and chips. accueil très sympathique avec musique au violon jouée par le patron. barrière qui s'ouvre automatiquement, parking sur l'arrière, très tranquille.

Très bien accueilli bonne cuisine patron et personnel sympa

Parking du pub resto. Nuit gratuite si on y mange (bonnes pizzas et fish and chips). Propriétaire très accueillant qui connaît bien sa région et dispense de très bons conseils. Il est sympa et bavard et aime jouer du fiddle. Village animé avec toutes commodités. Halte à recommander.

We stayed here whilst taking an inland detour from the Wild Atlantic Way. What a welcome detour. Dessi (owner) is a mine of information about the area and Ireland including the fact that he also houses the tourist information in the cafe. His chat is infectious, his humour very funny alongside the fact that he will play his fiddle between cooking some of the best fish and chips Gem of a find

Good stopover for touring Connemara area. Barrier controlled car park behind cafe. No charge for staying overnight but must eat in cafe. Cafe open till 11pm at weekends. Recommend the pizzas in cafe ! Village has several pubs and a small supermarket.

Ok calme mais on y va pas pour le cadre : C'est enclavé de murs en parpaings et crépi assortis des poubelles du café ... Bof
