Samstag Mittag ziemlich voll aber wir konnten trotzdem Wasser auffüllen. Viele Einheimische, auch welche von den Boten, unterwegs und niemand hat sich beschwert. Danke!! Wasser zu finden in der Gegend war sonst nicht so einfach.
We came from galway to spend the night, but it wasn't quite at all in the morning, there were some people who loudly cut the grass, but that's just unlucky.
Beautiful spot, few places along wall for parking. small cafe shop got great coffee and ice-cream, very friendly, there few bins there too. Few swimmers and sailing. very peaceful.
Sehr schöner Stellplatz. Wir verbrachten hier eine ruhige Nacht. Sehr empfehlenswert ist ein kleiner Spaziergang zur Spitze dieser Landzunge. Wir hatten dabei bestes Wetter! Viele Schwimmer und Segler aber sehr freundliche Menschen dort. Wasser war auch zu beginnen.
Ein wirklich interessanter Ort! Tagsüber bis spät abends ist hier richtig viel los. Viele Einheimische kommen zum Schwimmen oder Angeln vorbei, weshalb sich die Parkplatzsituation super schnell von voll zu leer ändert. Nachts gab es diesmal leider ein lautes Hämmern, was ohne klare Quelle etwas störend war. Kleine Mülleimer sind vorhanden, aber der Imbiss hatte leider geschlossen. Ansonsten i.O.!
we had a great overnight stay on this unnamed road beside the Sailing Club. The hottest day of the year so far meant it was busy and the family vibe was great.I went for a swim,watched the sailing boats head out& return on a group sail!The little cafe stayed open so ice creams for pudding. If you don't like the tapping of sail stays or walkers or swimmers this is not the place for you.
Went there intending to stay overnight but actually ended up moving on. A busy little car park with lots of comings and goings, lots of dog walkers, swimmers and harbour users. Water tap available. Could be a nice stopover but was very wet on the day we were there.
Lovely spot. Busy little local port. Swimmers like to enter water - park on the sloping gravel to the water. Avoid that area. We had the excitement of watching a yacht being craned into the water. Coffee / cafe there too.
Lieu très tranquille, une arrivée au milieu de la nuit déjà 3 camping-car mais des places libres. Dimanche matin à 7h arrivée des joggers, baignades en eau froide, un sauna sur le quai et une cabane avec café qui ouvre à 9h
Stayed alongside one other camper mid week in April. Even then it was apparent that this is a busy and popular small harbour. lots of swimmers, people with boats end generally going for a walk. Please don't get in the way otherwise the height barriers will go up.
Also note the two spaces mentioned in other reviews are actually passing places,don't park in them.

Felt a bit rough - perhaps because I'd been through the desolate Connemara back roads for days that being back amongst the populus felt spikey.

Great park up was a really peaceful night but we were basically stuck in the car park for hours due to people parking in the middle of the car park, just incase anyone needs to be on the move it’s gets very busy early. But still a great place to park up in your van
parked up just before the harbour on a pull in spot. enough for 2 vans and still allow traffic to pass. no services but fine free spot for the night. Bit rocky due to the 50mph gusting winds all night
We stayed one night. Very busy car park with many cars and campervans, people swimming, and some noise at night with cars moving around. Still a pleasant overnight stop. Water refill available – tap is on the concrete wall next to the slipway. Internet connection was very poor. Good for 1 night, not ideal for longer stays.
Encore un super spot pour dormir au calme et avoir une belle vue au réveil ! Merci à ce pays de nous permettre de profiter de tous ces beaux endroits. Du jamais vu pour nous en 10 ans de camping caristes.
Endroit calme le soir malgré le vent qui provoque le cliquetis des mâts de bateaux, et il y en a beaucoup.
En plus, il y a l'alarme d'un bâtiment en face qui a sonné toute la nuit.
L'école de plongée n'est arrivée que vers 10h sur le port.
Super vue et possibilité de se balader le long de la plage.
We arrived at 19:00 expecting some empty spaces. The pier, the parking at the grass knoll and the parking at the graveyard driving up to the pier were almost completely full. Luckily we could turn around at the knoll parking since there is a middle lane there. Drove on to the P&R 5 km's further on. Plenty of space there for our 7.35 m MH and 2 m tow.
Very peaceful night, lots of activity from the sailing club during the day but plenty of space. Horse trailer coffee stand with outdoor seating in the boatyard.
I would not recommend this place was SO busy there was no place to park and I could barely turn around. It’s a very busy spot with the swimmers and yacht club members. If you’re going south keep going for another 30 minutes as there are some gorgeous secluded spots.
Parking avec vue sur le port très agréable malgré les allers et venues du club de voile et du sauna (ne pas se garer à côté pour plus de calme) mais les personnes sont très sympahiques. Pas de services camping-car mais il y a un camion qui propose le petit déjeuner le matin à l'entrée du club. Idéal pour 1 nuit pour éviter d'aller aux campings chers de Galway.

Super accueil, super balade le long de l’estuaire, super ambiance au yacht club. On peut prendre de l’eau, il y a des poubelles… Bref, un super endroit pour s’arrêter !
It's an okay sleeping spot in a small port for yacths and sailing sports with available clean water.
Not exactly suitable for campervan use but it does work out if you just need a place to spend the night being with a van.
Decent, level car park with a good number of spaces. It was quite busy for us on a Friday night, with teenage drivers meeting up there. Fast cars and loud music.
It probably would be better during the week.
Parking bien entretenu avec vue. Il est entre un grand parc et un chemin côtier. Parfait pour se promener le matin. D'ailleurs le parking est fréquenté le matin par des marcheurs, joggeurs et nageurs. Malgré tout le lieu est très calme. Nous avons bien dormi.
We visited in December, so didn't have the noise/bustle that others mention.
There were some early morning dippers at dawn, but was OK. Water tap was useful (on wall on right side of carpark). Slept well.

Good place but there's people coming around untill late, we had some car going in circles on the parking but nothing dangerous. In the morning gets crowded but we didn't even hear them arriving as people didn't stay around.
Not the best place but it did it's job to sleep for a night.

Très beau spot. Je recommande vivement. N’hésitez pas a aller voir le pêcheur à son retour de pêche le matin car nous avons la chance de pouvoir acheter des homards bleu à un prix imbattable. Effectivement il y a un peu de mouvement car c’est un lieu de nage en mer balisé. J’y retournerai sans aucun problème.
The hustle& bustle is nice during the day (a friendly jolly place) but it was very busy until 9pm, with cars coming & going until midnight & then fisherman starting at 4.30am. No one bothers you but I couldn’t settle with the movement & had a rubbish sleep. Moved up the road at 5am for an extra hours kip before walking the dogs in the park. Seahorse Cafe coffee was lovely, and dogs got a treat!
Such a nice park up. Really quiet and beautiful view over the port and sea. Really nice sunset. Free parking and quite a few campers overnight. Great place to stop before or after Galway for the night.
Petit port très sympa dans la baie de Galway, très calme, parking plat. Beaucoup d'irlandais viennent s'y baigner et il y a un spa sur le quai. Robinet d'eau à proximité. Gens très gentils et très bienveillants.
Stayed for 2 nights. Parked up in the layby opposite the sailing club next to the car park as we felt the car park would be too busy. It was, as there was a regatta on this weekend. Plenty of other campers around. Quiet after midnight, some activity from 7:00am. Good coffee shack for drinks, ice cream and snacks.
Great parkup that is full of hustle and bustle - perfect for people watching. Quietened down for a silent nights sleep. Litter bins around and water available (too busy a carpark to take water directly into motorhome). Avoid arriving late afternoon as parking spaces are limited.
Fantastic spot on the harbour. Had a great evening watching all the local swimmers going out into the very cold water! All super friendly & welcoming. Beautiful park opposite with playground & outdoor gym. Park run on Saturdays.

Bij het lezen van de commentaren waren we wat onzeker, maar bij de aankomst stonden er nog 2 campers en voelden we ons veilig.
Geen overlast gehad tijdens de nacht.
Mooi zicht op de pier. Water is te vinden aan een kraantje rechts.
Parking voor zwemmers,er is een mobiele sauna, open gehouden door een vriendelijke dame die ons veel tips heeft gegeven om Ierland te bezoeken.
Even at beginning of February it was very busy. Lots of people on foot and in cars in the surrounding area and the spot. It’s a local hot spot so could be good in a pinch or for a lunch spot but we didn’t feel comfortable staying so we left after fifteen mins. There are bins and good signal.
Lucky to get a spot as lots of cars. Very quiet overnight. Caution if arriving at high tide (5-6pm), as tide covers access road. But it is not deep. Lots of wild swimmers first thing in the morning.
Busy all day with wild swimmers, yachtsmen and fishermen and all night with youths sitting in their cars engines running and smoking ( something) Beautiful location but didn’t feel welcome and had a disturbed night.
Nice level park up along the bay of Galway either on the quay or by the shoreline.Busy into the evening with swimmers, walkers and the sailing club but quiet through the night. Bin on carpark and a couple of food vans.
We arrived about 6pm and the whole area was full of swimmer's cars and so very hectic and fairly noisy. Finally got in front of the yatch club about 8.30. The moral of the story is get there before the swimmers. After dark it quietened down and the night was peaceful. Good walk out to the point.
Lovely quiet park up for the night. I’m in a very large Motorhome and I had plenty of space for parking and manoeuvring. Lovely swimming spot. Crepe stall and coffee stand added bonus too. Good for dog walking too.
Beautiful place. Felt very safe as a woman on my own. Busy with swimmers until late and again early in the morning. There was a real sense of community among the swimmers and they were very welcoming and friendly.
Lovely place. Has water and bins. Toilets and play area about 10-15 min walk. Was busy until 2300 but at 0830 it’s getting busier although everyone is quieter this morning. Scenery is amazing
Spot au top face à la mer. Nous étions plusieurs camions mais ce fut très calme . Le matin par contre à partir de 8 h pas mal de trafic car les baigneurs viennent ici se mettre à l’eau et c’est aussi un lieu de mise à l’eau pour les bateaux mais proche de Galway donc cool
Schöner Platz direkt am Wasser. Es standen ein paar andere Caravans da. Die Nacht war sehr ruhig. Ab 7 Uhr kommen viele Locals, darunter einige Schwimmer. Wir waren im August hier, sind im 23 Uhr angekommen und haben den letzten Platz bekommen. Haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt.
Très bon emplacement. Quand il fait beau, venir plus en fin de soirée. Les locaux viennent se baigner et faire de la voile.
Il y a bien deux poubelles et un robinet d'eau potable sur le mur au fond du parking (le tuyau est noir ce qui le camoufle).
toller Platz für die Nacht. Es war sehr ruhig, 3 Mobile standen hier. Morgens und abends viele Locals die hier schwimmen gehen.
Den Wasserhahn gibt es wohl nicht mehr, aber 2 kleine Mülleimer.

We parked up about 6pm and went for a great swim, along with lots of local families.
We were considering staying the night but as it got busier (locals parked everywhere) we thought it was best to move on.
great spot. really busy in the evening and morning but quiet during the night. there is a watertap on the wall which works perfectly fine. get there early otherwise there is no space.
Hemos pasado una noche muy agradable. Por la tarde está bastante concurrido por gente que se acerca a pegarse un baño (independientemente del clima, como bien se ve en otros comentarios), pero sin ser molesto. La noche ha sido muy calmada y sin ruidos ni problemas. Había otra autocaravana pasando la noche.
We spent three very quiet nights at Rinville Pier. A great spot. Very busy with (brave) locals going swimming, kayaking and the sailing club activities - great fun to watch it all going on. A lovely walk to the end of the coastal path and the huge park is worth a walk round too. Water tap was working and we filled a few times. Sandwiches from the Seahorse shack are well worth it - delicious!
very quied during the night, at 11.30 pm a garda car drove by but it didn't stop. The morning was a bit loud because of a construction side next to the site. The water tap worked perfectly for us (Feb 2023)
Parking sur le port en apparence tranquille. Nous sommes arrivés la nuit pour prendre de l'eau juste avant de nous installer. Mais surprise dès 7h du matin... voitures, discussions, chiens.... nous pouvions nous attendre en effet mais on ne pensait pas que ça serait si tôt! Un peu déçus...
Keine Beschilderung zu Übernachtung aber diesen Ort über einen gedruckten Campingführer gefunden. Soll für 4 Fahrzeuge sein, Platz war im Herbst genug vorhanden. Nachfrage vor Ort ergab, dass Camper willkommen sind, Werbung wird aber nicht gemacht da im Sommer vorwiegend Nutzer des Hafens parken sollen. Hatten eine schöne und ruhige Nacht hier. Der Coffee-Shop vor Ort ist zu empfehlen.
Deux parking possible, 1 au bout sur la jeté et si trop de monde, celui avant le golf. Des tables extérieure sont installées, vu sur un château en ruine. Cadre exceptionnel, beaucoup de monde au mois d’août. Pierrot food truck pour café le matin
We took a break here to fill up our water (tap can be found right by the slip area). Super friendly people around with a little coffee and food trailer as well as a Sauna right by the water. Recommend! Even though we didn’t stay the night I’m sure you could.
quelques jeunes le soir qui se posent en voiture quelques minutes. mais nuit très calme et le réveil dans ce petit port au bruit des baigneurs est très agréable. petit café l'été juste à côté du centre nautique. parfait comme spot après une visite de Galway.
Quiet safe spot at night with two other campers parked up. Bins and I think there is a tap but we didn’t need it. Early morning activity and little coffee van on site :)
Emplacement au calme sur le petit port, des nageurs viennent le soir et le matin. On nous a montré un robinet d'eau,mais n'en avions pas besoin. Par contre énormément de vent, est toujours aussi venteux ?
Convenient spot with tap on wall - decided to fill up late in the evening after most sailors had left. However, very exposed to the wind. After filling with water I decided the noise of the wind banging the boat rigging cables against the masts in the adjacent boatyard was too loud so we went back down the road to the Renville Park car park to get some sleep. By late evening there was space there with just 3 other motorhomes.

Très beau petit port. Nous y étions un soir de très beau temps et le parking était plein jusqu'à 22h même en semaine. Mais il se vide totalement à la nuit tombée, nous étions 3 camping-cars.Très calme, poubelles, ce qui mérite d'être signalé. Un robinet, nous ne savons pas si elle est potable.
