GeoSPOT: Welcome to Finca La Loma!
After leaving our homeland and traveling through Spain with our caravan, we found a place we could call home. Our small finca on a hill in the Almansa countryside is a peaceful spot with beautiful views, nature all around us, and all the basic necessities for a few nights or even weeks. We fell in love with the silence, space, and breathtaking sunsets from our own backyard, and we'd love to share this beautiful place with (other) travelers.
Our property is unpaved and we don't have designated pitches, so you're free to choose the spot that suits you. There are sunny spots, but there's plenty of room if you prefer a spot with some shade. Both sunny and shady spots can be combined with beautiful views of El Mugrón or a peaceful sunset in the evening. The road to our property is paved for the last 100-150 meters. It's easy to drive on, but please be aware that there are a few rocky sections, so please drive carefully.
We have a fully equipped outdoor kitchen that you're welcome to use. We offer other services for a small additional fee, which you can request. We're happy to help you wherever we can. You're welcome to bring your four-legged, furry friends, but as the property isn't fully fenced, we ask that you keep them on a leash at all times.
Enjoy the peace and quiet, while all amenities are just a 15-minute drive away. In Almansa, you'll find several supermarkets, a hospital, laundromats, numerous local shops, a large indoor market, and a train station with direct connections to Valencia, Alicante, and Albacete. Almansa also has several places to drop off your waste, as well as a place to dispose of your gray and black water.
There are numerous sights and activities to explore in and around our finca. The Almansa Dam, Mont Arabí, and El Mugrón are fantastic places for walking, hiking, or cycling. You can stroll through Almansa's historic center and walk to the castle, and/or visit a nearby town in the Ayora Valley. If you're a fan of (Spanish) gastronomy, Maralba, with its two Michelin stars and Spanish sommelier, is a must-see. With the welcoming town of Almansa, the surrounding almond, grape, and olive groves, and the beautiful places to visit, you won't regret a visit to this wonderful place.
