Need to open the gate to go in (then close behind you). Only 3 campervans including us stayed overnight, but there's room for 5. Level ground and very quiet area, slightly set back from the road. £10 honesty box for overnight stay. Excellent views

Fantastic stop. Gate tied up to keep sheep, dog etc in/out. Simply untie drive in and re-tie the gate. Superb view. We were only ones staying there so perfect. £10 honesty box that supports local economy. Bargain and such a fantastic response to the volumes of campers on this wonderful route. 100% will stop again.

Lovely spot with room for 5 campers. Honestly box to pay for your stay (£10, cash only). We had a gorgeous morning walk down to Rispond bay. Pretty flat and nice and quiet!

Stayed last night and what a beautiful spot. Just us here with the sheep and waves. Gate was tied with rope when we arrived but there is a sign asking to keep gate closed so this is the only reason to keep the sheep out. No facilities but a very peaceful night and beautiful view to wake up to.

Gates were tied shut. Multiple overnight aires available on the route to Durness

All the other parking areas where pretty much full, I had this place saved on here. So glad as it's quiet and to be honest under used,, we are the only van here when all the other areas are full and it is only 2 mins drive further. No facilities but you should be self contained and be in the habit of taking your rubbish away with you. It's £10 in the honesty box.

The campsite was full and the other aire had a group of noisy drunks. Fortunately this spot was completely empty. £10 is a lot considering there are no services but the peace and quiet was worth it.

Nous sommes arrivés tôt… tranquilles. A 18h00, nous étions 5, serrés comme des sardines, comme sur les aires que nous fuyons. Nous n’avons rien trouvé d’autre. Soirée très middges mais ça peut être partout. Jolie plage et visite des cerfs à la nuit tombée, c’était féerique.

Lovely small flatish area for 5 moho’s with an amazing view. Honesty box £10 per night, please pay as it goes back to the local economy. The only downside is there is no bin therefore you have to take you dog poo into your van until you find a bin ! Take your rubbish with you please

Nice spot, quite windy. Went for a walk and had a bbq on a beach round the corner, possible highlight of the trip! Filled up when we were there, people had to move on and find other places, about 5 campers squeezed on. Everyone was quiet and moved on early in the morning. Spectacular view. Bit noisy as could hear roosters and sheep but not too loud. Felt safe as two young girls.

Nice spot for overnight stopover. Just need to pop £10 in the honesty box, nice and flat and enough room for 5 or so campers/motor homes. The road is a little noisy as a cattle grid close by. Lots of midgies!
