Very quiet and modern campsite! Everything was really clean and the prices were absolutely fair. They even offer special NC500 services like showers for £3, or individual options like just doing laundry or emptying/filling the water tank.

Clean and fresh! Nice and quiet at night. Friendly staff who placed us with rooftent perfectly on a windy day! Short drive to wonderful scenery!

an amazing campsite. very big and busy. well established fantastic facilities. everything you need and more. plus shop. beautiful scenery and dog walk up the river. lots of space between units. pot wash is a kitchen wow. along with showers,toilets, family room. laundery facilities. fridge/freezer mobile charge point. I don't think they have forgotten anything. perfect camp site vans and tents

Top Platz mit super sanitären Anlagen und total nettem Personal. Die Stadt Wick selber ist eher unspektakulär.

To sum it up in one word-exceptional We arrived this afternoon & sadly only staying for the one as doing NC500. Site well laid out & plenty of space between pitches for comfort & privacy. Grounds well kept & services onsite brilliant. The toilet & shower block all new & very posh. I am actually looking forward to a decent shower as it's so clean! Friendly welcome & useful information on arrival

Très chouette, accueil sympa, très beaux emplacements, sanitaires impeccables, calme, et nous avons eu la visite d'une colonie de petits lapins très mignons. Pas loin d'un commerce à pied environ 10mm

£38 a night for 3 adults, 1 dog and electric in a VW campervan. Facilities all new and very clean. Great showers with hairdryers. Laundry, fridge, freezer, phone charging, microwaves, inside seating with coffee machine, shop, family shower room and accessible shower room. Free site-wide WiFi. Pitches are nicely spread. Staff lovely. Can walk into Wick via the river. Our 3rd stay here

An initiative set up by the locals where all the profits go back into the campsite/local community. You get a lot of services for what you pay including spotless and modern showers and dish washing areas. Optional laundry. A small shop, an indoor seating area with coffee available. Great facilities for waste water/chemical toilet/fresh water. Walkable into town within 10 mins.

Ein super Platz, der sehr neu und modern wirkt. Die Sanitäranlagen sind top! Super sauber, geräumige Duschen. Alles da, was man braucht. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Ein traumhaft schöner Campingplatz! Alles neu, hat erst 2025 eröffnet. Inhaber sind extrem freundlich, einer der schönsten Plätze die wir je hatten! Aja bei der Einfahrt die auf 2,9m begrenzt ist mit unseren 3.1m Crafter durchgekommen, jedoch mit viel schauen und herantasten. Über die Alternativ Zufahrt jedoch easy die haben wir jedoch beim ankommen gekonnt ignoriert :)

Accueil formidable et aux petits soins. Des installations toutes neuves modernes et confortables. La salle de bain familiale est un plus. Balade pour le chien le long de la rivière. Camping à gestion non lucrative. Bref au top.

Did not stop overnight, only topped up fresh water, dropped waste, emptied toilet and had a shower, these are the cleanest shower block I’ve ever used, 10/10 excellent!!!!

Fantastic campsite, stayed one night grass pitch electric hook up. The showers are amazing. Cleanliness 10/10. Staff were lovely, nice, spacious plot. One of the best campsites we've stayed on

£33 for EHU on grass level grass pitch, fantastic facilities looks new, could not fault them, good location for a short walk into Wick, good spot for dog walking, quiet, yes there's a height restricted railway bridge at the main entrance but there is an alternative entrance.

Toller Platz am Fluss, zu Fuß knapp 10min am Fluss entlang in die kleine Stadt. Neues sehr gutes Sanitärgebäude. Zum ersten Mal WiFi welches seinen Namen verdient. Platz ohne Strom auf dem Rasen, kl. Camper 2 Erwachsene 23 Pfund. Restaurant Empfehlung: nur sonntags früher Abend all you can eat im Norseman Hotel schottisches Buffet mit super Desserts 22 Pfund.

Très bel endroit. Accès facile au centre (mais celui-ci présente peu d’intérêt). Les sanitaires sont très propres et tout neufs. On recommande.

Great welcome and super accommodating, despite of the very particular instructions that were sent multiple times before our arrival. Only a 10 min walk into the main town. Co-op near by. Pitches are big and the scenery is beautiful, lots of birds and rabbits about. The river walk is lovely. We used the family shower and it was super clean and spacious, perfect for us to wash our baby. Would definitely recommend.

Prachtig nieuw sanitair gebouw! Grote ruime plekken met voldoende afstand met de buren.. Op loopafstand naar het dorp, langs de rivier.

Toller, moderner Campingplatz! Große geschotterte Stellplätze mit Rasen dazwischen. Sanitäranlagen frisch renoviert und super sauber. Viele Duschen, Toiletten, Waschbecken. Familyroom gibt es ebenfalls. Auch der Spülraum ist gut ausgestattet mit Spülen, Stöpsel und Abtropfgitter. In 10 Min. ist man zu Fuß im Ort. Pubempfehlung des Besitzers: "Alexander Bain", war top.

Bester Campingplatz bisher auf unserem UK Trip - das neue Sanitätshaus ist seit Samstag geöffnet und ganz ehrlich ein Traum. Top modern, Familienbad, groß sauber und ordentlich. Der Platz ist generell sehr ordentlich geführt. WLAN!!!! Das erste was funktioniert hier auf unserer Reise. Wir haben 25Pfund bezahlt als Family im Van ohne Strom. Sehr fair - haben noch eine Nacht drangehängt. Stadt ist fußläufig erreichbar. Tesco superstore ebenfalls nah.

Stayed here One night, Guy was very nice and helpful,instructions were bit difficult for us. But maneged to find the place, very dog friendly, well maintained, peaceful areas. Not much around the site but still worth it. Definitely recommended and we might come back from our NC500 trip soon

Nice little campsite. Clean and tidy. Had a corner pitch and the River Wick. At the time of stay the site is currently upgrading their facilities block (toilets/showers/wash room) so in place temp shower and toilet cabins. Limited to 3 toilets and showers. Clean with hot water & modern shower unit. Once the new block is completed sure this will up their game. Price for 1 night with hook up £30.

Platz ist ok, aber die Preisfindung nicht nachvollziehbar. Wir mussten! einen Platz mir Strom nehmen und zahlten 30£. Duschen derzeit in Container, meine genutzte Dusche wurde nicht warm (elektrische Durchlauferhitzer).

Nice site with decent and clean amenities and friendky helpful staff. Immaculately kept - shows that the owners actually care about your holiday stay. There's a lovely 1/2 mile walk from the camp to town where there are a couple of pubs thst serve food even on a Sunday evening and a decent Indian Restaurant. Plenty of Takeaways too.

Our 2nd visit to this site. We came last year in a motorhome and this year in a tent. Very reasonably priced. Community funded. Shower and loo block being rebuilt but there are temporary shower and loos that are absolutely fine and clean. Great location next to the river. You can walk into Wick.

We only stopped to use the facilities here (for a reasonable fee) but is an oasis in an otherwise average-looking town. Friendly welcome.

Really nice campsite! We paid 23 pounds for an unpowered motorhome site for 2x people. This campsite is a not-for-profit and all proceeds are invested in improving the campsite or community initiatives in Wick

Lovely campsite, nice warm showers. I was able to re-freeze my ice packs in their freezer. Even has wifi (which actually works)! Just a little on the expensive side (£17 for one person, no electric in a camper)

El camping no es muy grande pero llegamos a las 20h sin reserva y el dueño fue muy amable. Hay un acceso alternativo para AC de más de 2,9m, nosotros tuvimos que usarlo. El camino es correcto para un solo vehiculo. Las duchas están muy limpias y hay espacio para lavar la vajilla y hacer picnics. No hay lavadora. 1 noche £30 por una parcela con electricidad para una CamperVan y 3 personas.

superbe camping, les espaces sont très grands, on est proche de la rivière et la ville à 15 mn de marche. les installations propres, le propriétaire très sympa, on n'avait pas réservé, ce qui est conseillé, on a eut une superbe place. payé 30£ pour 2 et le fourgon électricité, un peu cher, mais ça les vaut. superbe halte avant d'embarquer pour les Orcades à Gills Bay à 25 km. je recommande

Had an overnight stay here. Nice pitches for motorhome, great to walk the dog by the river. Owner very helpful when we checked in, nice quite secluded site a few minutes walk from local amenities. Will definitely use again.

Very poor access on a blind corner then down a public foot path locals weren’t amused. The grass pitch we got was very wet and boggy not ideal for larger camper van . Nice big area surrounded by hedges and trees But midges were really bad. Next time going look for somewhere near the coast

Lovely site right next to the river. Friendly helpful staff. Nice pitches. Lovely walk into town. Toilet block is dated but there are plans to update this. Community funded so they are raising funds for the refurbishment. Alternative entrance for high vehicles. Easy walk to local restaurants and whiskey distillery. The town needs the trade so do visit.

Ganz toller und vor allem günstiger Campingplatz, da dieser nicht Profit orientiert arbeitet, sondern seine Einnahmen reinvestiert und auch in gemeinnützige Projekte steckt. Super netter Südafrikaner am Empfang. Die Sanitäranlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, sollen aber in den nächsten 1-2 Jahren erneuert werden. Einen Stern Abzug weil die Sanitäranlagen sauberer hätten sein können.

Wir wurden ohne Buchung super freundlich empfangen und unsere Wünsche wurden alle erfüllt. Es ist ein wunderschöner Platz, sogar mit Spielplatz und gemeinschaftlichen BBQ-Platz. Kleine Häschen hoppeln hier herum - alles in allem ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! 2 Campervans mit 4 Personen und zwei Hunden für 39£

Der Platz wird nach und nach erneuert, 2024 sollen neue Sanitärhäuschen fertig sein, mehr und mehr Plätze werden mit EHU ausgestattet. Rezeption bis 20:00 Uhr (!) besetzt durch einen freundlichen Südafrikaner. Einige grass pitches (rechts) können nach Regen moorig werden. Viel Baumbestand, tolle Atmosphäre, öffentlicher Spielplatz am Fluss Richtung Stadtzentrum. Unbedingt abends in die Crown Bar!

Camping correct, avec tout service sauf machine à laver. Les sanitaires pas très propres. À proximité de la ville et d'un magasin pour quelque courses. Attention pour rentrer par l'entrée principale il faut faire moin de 2,80 m sinon faut passer par derrière le long de la rivière.

Great camp site and super friendly staff. Only some miner issues, e.g. that the power sockets in the bath don't fit to standard converters (those with three pins, like in most of the UK). The camp site is a community project and they are heavily investing to renovate the place.

Stayed one night, they were very accommodating for a last minute arrival. Nice quiet location near the river Wick, short walk into town. Toilet block clean with free showers (other comments already note that they are seeking to improve toilet block)

I highly recommend this campsite, not full The toilet blocks are dated, clean,with planning to be replaced. the site has a vision for a future of the improvements that are needed, and we can accept this. we had excellent customer service due to a burnt out EHU cable, which the campsite manager replaced for us. You can't place a value on this kind of service, and we wish you all the best, thanks

Campsite location is good, short walk into Wick and staff are friendly, but, the campsite facilities much to be desired! Not enough facilities to accommodate a busy (and full site) very dated showers without much space to change. I would not recommend or visit again unfortunately.

Adorable petit camping envahi par les lapins. Accueil très sympathique, balade au bord de la rivière, à deux pas de Wick (attention tout est fermé le dimanche)

What a lovely site. Run as a community not for profit venture, they have great plans for the future. Showers and toilets are more than adequate given the price, (£21 or £28 with EHU.

Stopped here along our nc500 route to stay for one night. The man that checked us in was really nice and recommended some local places for food and drink. Facilities were good and clean. The site is next to a river which you can access and walk into wick town. Recommend!

Absolutely love this campsite. We didn’t pre book and just showed up and they were more than accommodating. Lovely guy who runs the place. Shower block is class, brilliant high powered hot showers. Small walk to the town, check out the Italians and wickersworld for breakfast! Will stay again!

Good quiet camping, 10 mins walk along the river to town. Sanitary block is a bit outdated, and showers don’t give warm water.

Lovely quiet campsite on the riverbank, good location with short walk along the river to shops and bars/pubs and eateries. Shower block a little dated but other than that a great little site as a stop over whilst we were doing the NC500

Sehr schöner Campingplatz, man kann schön am Fluss in die Stadt reinlaufen, die Sanitäranlagen sind zwar alt und eng aber sehr sauber.

Hidden gem - £21 for campsite and two people. Welcomed break from parking on side of roads etc. allowed us to shower and refill and empty. Beautiful walks and playground nearby
