Been here for several hours now, with the weather hit and miss. Staying the night, and so far it's been peaceful. A few cars pulling in for a few minutes, then off they go. At the moment there are 4 campervans and it's all very good. Great views over the loch and not too much noise from the main road behind which is 30 metres away.

der Blick auf den See ist unbezahlbar. Leider verwechseln viele (Van- ??) Fahrer die angrenzenden Sträucher mit einer Toilette. Es stinkt an jeder Ecke, unappetittliches Papier und sonstiger Müll fliegt überall herum. Und dabei waren wir schon im April dort, zur Hauptreisezeit wird es nur noch schlimmer sein

Good spot, quiet at night and beautiful views in the morning. Can get busy, we stayed here late March and arrived around 8, the place was already full with just a couple spots left

Great spot right by the loch was quite when I went but guessing it get busy by the unfortunate amount of rubbish stuffed in corners

decent lay by, cars seemed to quieten up around 10.30 and was relatively peaceful after that. bit windy being right on the side of the Loch. we'd stopped here on a bit of a whim after our first stop looked a bit rough. would probably try and find somewhere better if we where planning in advance but a good stop if your struggling

Probably the best lay by on this length of road with proper full length parking bays which fit a 7m van easily enough, and separated from the road by trees/bushes. Not a single bit of litter. One other van arrived after me and stayed the night too. Dogs loved the loch beach. Road noise is there but very quiet overnight, had a good sleep!

A beautiful park up being ruined by disgusting people dumping rubbish. I filled x2 black bags this morning before I left here. People have fires on the little shingle beach and don't clean up after themselves and other seem to think it's OK to drive here to fly tip. Rant over apart from the above a nice little park up.

arrived at 3 and was the only one there by 6 2 other vans had turned up and a car of people who come to just have a fire on the shingle beach who left about 9. over all a peaceful night but is some road noise all night

Nice spot without service, but with a great view over Loch Lomond. Nice little pebble stone beach.

Schöner Platz am Wasser und Toiletten sind ca. 3 min mit dem Auto entfernt. Man kann in dem See schwimmen und ein bisschen am Wasser entlang gehen. Ja, man hört die Straße aber zwischen 23:00 und 06:00 ist es wirklich ruhig genug.

nice little spot not perfect as you can hear road noise didnt bother us, lovely view of Loch almond, off the road on a layby, perfect for a one night stop. did clean up mess from previous campers before us, so please take your rubbish.

Amazing views of the Loch. Quite a lot of noise from the road. Pity users litter the place. Large pile of burnt wood in one bay, obviously tipped out of a fire pit. Someone converting a van and possibly living there, with off-cuts of wood and sawdust in adjacent space.

Great spot with amazing loch views. In November, it was just us in our motorhome and another motorhome. Mostly quiet with a little bit of traffic noise but didn’t bother us. Could do with a bin but we made do as we were moving on the next day.

Stayed here twice, views amazing. Set away from the road so no real loud noise. Nice little shingle beach there too

Lovely spot with good great views if you can get the available spots. No caravans and no signs restricting overnight parking. Exposed to southerly winds which concentrate up the Loch so it can get a bit uncomfortable.

Si el ruido de la carretera no te importa este sitio es perfecto. Vistas preciosas, gran amanecer y tranquilo de gente en temporada baja.

Cannot fault the view & beach area. However a rundown Caravan, clearly lived in takes up half the available bays unhitched. At the time of visiting another caravan hitched to a car took up the other bay parking sideways across it. Returning week later cars were parked sideways preventing anybody else parking & Caravan still present. Nice spot ruined by a few inconsiderate people.

Stunning location, shame about the lack of bins and the resident caravan taking up 4 spaces. The beach is literally right there. Road noise isn’t THAT bad. Could do with a tidy up.

Eine Schande. Leute blockieren hier trotz Verbot mit ihrem Wohnwagen, Generator und Schlauchboot 8 Parkplätze über Tage hinweg. Ich habe beobachtet, wie sein Grauwasser einfach aus dem Wagen läuft. Ein Zeichen, dass das Campingverbot hier in der Gegend absolut gerechtfertigt ist. Wir sind weiter gefahren, auch am Tag.

Location is actually a 4* in reality, the 1* downgrade from 5 is due to traffic noise only ( not excessive but audible). Rubbish here is not good; a recipe for the place being given 'no overnight parking' signs. 5 seconds after parking saw loo paper in bushes; carrier bags & bin bags of rubbish only metres from lake! Lovely place!, let's all be more responsible. Otherwise spoilt for everyone.

Schilder und Homepage des Nationalparks sagen, dass übernachten (Zelt Wohnmobil) hier nicht erlaubt (März bis September) ist. Übernachtung sind nur auf ausgewiesenen Plätzen mit Permit erlaubt.

wonderful place to park campervan, loads of places to park. it became very busy so Early stop is desirable. very quiet and great access to swim in Loch lomond.

Juste sur une petite plage, entouré d’arbres mais bruyant avec la route juste derrière. De nombreux déchets sur la plage malheureusement. Pas de poubelles…

Quite a few parking spots, beach area just off the car park and easy access to the water. Lovely spot.

Rustige plek aan het water. Lekker om een frisse duik te nemen in het meer en de internet verbinding is oke.

Super Stellplatz mit dem See vor der Nase /Motorhaube. Offenbar wurde aufgeräumt, denn der von Vorrednern erwähnte Müll war nicht zu sehen. Man hört die vorbeiführende Hauptstraße ein wenig, aber uns hat das nicht gestört.

I a ok place to stay a bit hidden from the road unfortunately there are a lot of garbage, rest of barbecue. It a shame people don’t take care of nature. There is a nice beach and nice view though

die Aussicht ist das einzige. Ein Wohnwagen steht ohne Zugfahrzeug quer und blockiert mehrere Parkplätze, daneben Müll... der ganze Platz ist zugemüllt, der eigentlich schöne Kiesstrand voller Scherben, Dosen, Kohle, Einweggrills... Das ist der erste Platz den wir so erleben in Schottland und das in einem Naturschutzgebiet?

super endroit ! beau point de vue, plutôt calme malgré la route qui passe derrière, ça n'est pas dérangeant. Il manque juste une poubelle. Je recommande !

My favourite stop of Scotland yet! I’d say try to park up early as this spot gets busy. Lovely access to the Loch and some friendly ducks to keep you company! Could not recommend anymore!

Brilliant park-up spot on Loch Lomond, space for about 10 (not if there are any long campers parked sideways). We got the last spot at around 5:30pm on a Saturday. Little bank you can go down to and have a lovely little fire! 5 minutes away from Luss with public toilets.

Great spot fabulous views lovely little beach to launch from. Just a bit of noise from road but quietens down at night.

Great spot. Lovely views and great access onto the Loch. We were one of 4 campers here. It would be very popular in the summer months. Intermittent 5g. No bins.

Great pull in set back off of the road, beautiful scenery, no bins so some had decided to leave their trash. You can deposit your trash in the next lay-by where there are bins. Has its own beach so would be ideal for paddle boarding. Definitely would use again!

Lovely place right next to loch lomond. Enough for 8 ish motorhomes in 3 areas. Set slightly further back off main road than some other of the nearby laybys. Some road noise still but not a major problem. Can access the little beach from here.

Lovely site, lots of vans turned up great views over the loch and a small beach - I had a cold swim.

Great little spot next to the lake. Traffic was busy till about 10. And started again about 5am ish. Little beach and had a great swim.

Lovely place to stop with an amazing view. Short walk to beach/loch side. Only one thing knocked off a star - rubbish! What is wrong with some people? Take your rubbish with you!

Absolutely wonderful spot! Would definitely stop here again in the future. Met some lovely van lifers and travellers. You can swim in the loch here and cycle paths run right through. Luss is definitely worth a cycle to, lovely little place

Nice spot just off from the main road. Is set back but can still hear some road noise which is busy during the day. Very busy spot especially with campers. There are multiple other laybys along the road (just smaller) that could be used. Signal on EE

Beautiful lay by, no restrictions and amazing views to see. Met a lovely community of other people on holiday in campers and the loch is great for paddle-boarding.

Here less than 2 months ago, I helped the council litter pick for nearly an hour. Back today whilst travelling south and I've just filled another large black bag with litter! bags of human waste in the hedges! someone has also emptied their porta loo down the storm drain! which likely goes straight into the loch! WELL DONE! expect to lose this spot very soon! Ashamed to be a van dweller tbh!

Great parking spot! We were able to reverse our van in so the back doors could open up with the loch in full view, some road noise but the lay-by is set back from the road so you don’t feel the speed of each car that passes. Lovely little pebble beach, with some friendly wild life (a swan tried to steal our noodles), about a 30 minute walk into Luss

great view of Loch, small stoney beach area. Road noise as just off main road, so expected. No bins, so take your rubbish home. That especially goes to the car drivers. Locals quit flying tipping too.

Beautiful views, fairly quiet - sound of occasional traffic. Can’t complain.

Good spot overlooking loch. Small pebble beach for dogs. Clean. Near main road but not really noisy. 1 or 2 other vans/campers which means it’s popular.

Great spot, space for 4/5 campervans/motor homes. Potentially more, depending on how people have parked. Private stone beach, amazing views of Loch Lomand and lovely swimming. Some rubbish left behind but nothing too much, the stop needs public rubbish bins. No facilities but all facilities are available 5 minutes up the road. Would stay again.

Great free spot. Plenty of space. Noisy busy road but the easy access to the shores and water well worth it!

Petit parking qui dépanne. Très belle vue sur le Loch avec une plage juste en contre bas. Beaucoup de passages de véhicules et donc de bruit.

Super spot, la plage est à nos pieds et la vue sur le Loch est très belle. Arriver vers 18h30 nous avons pu trouver une place. Attention place limitées à 8, peut être 9 si tout les campings car jouent le jeu en se collant.

Está bien para tener vistas del lago pero es un poco ruidoso, se oye pasar a todos los coches y camiones que van por la carretera

La vue est belle, petite plage de cailloux. La route est proche mais le talus qui la sépare du parking atténue un peu le bruit et la visibilité.

In una piazzola appartata e capace di ospitare fino a 6 camper, priva di qualsiasi servizio. Carina la visuale del lago, bene come piazzola per notte d'emergenza, un po' rumorosa a causa della strada molto frequentata.
