An absolutely stunning spot, and for only £10 a night, which the farmer will either collect at 9 am or 7 pm. You can park right up to the edge of the cliff next to the coastal path which makes it ideal for walks. However, my only gripe is that the road to the field is a dirt farmer's track up a hill, full of potholes and jagged rocks; our old VW T25 only just managed to make it.

  • 5/5

Brilliant site! Only £10 a night

  • 5/5

Dieser Platz ist sagenhaft!! 10£ sind absolut fair. Wasseranschluss vorhanden! Sehr liebe Menschen!

  • 5/5

Fantastic spot, however too noisy over the weekends. There were couple of visotors who played music loudly, we reprted it and the owner reacted what was nice. We have stayed 8 night in August. We love basic campsites with stunning views. 10per night per car. There is a flushable toilet. Access to the beach. We will def will come back again! Thank you for having such lovely places open for campers!!

  • 5/5

Absolutely outstanding, Drive in and pick a spot right on the clifftop and get Camping. Right on the coastal path so you can walk left or right along the rocky cliff tops or go down to the beach. There is a porta loo toilet on site and water but that’s your lot. You will be out in the elements. That is the attraction of this place. There is so much space to choose from it’s unbelievable. Amazing

  • 5/5

Amazing spot. The address doesn’t take you to the actual place, but if you continue following the road you end up on the field. The road to the field is very rough. Weak signal on EE.

  • 5/5

Awesome spot overlooking the sea, everyone was super respectful. Will definitely be returning!

  • 5/5

Amazing panoramic view. Enough flat spots to be comfortable. Clean flushing toilet and tap. Gorgeous sandy beach below. 10 min drive into Bude.

  • 5/5

Beautiful views, nice walk to beach, lots of surfers. Very peaceful at night. Water filling point at the entrance so don’t forget to fill up before finding a spot. Some places are very sloped.

  • 5/5

Wunderbarer Platz. Ja 10£ sind notwendig, dafür hat man aber seine Ruhe und kann eine Hammer Aussicht genießen. Bauer Klaus kommt pünktlich 19 Uhr. Bargeld bereit halten.

  • 5/5

Wow ! Definitely worth coming here ! The track up to the site is a bit adventurous and you’re not sure whether you’re heading to the right place but keep following the road and you’ll get here ! The farmer comes round and collects £10 around 7pm and I’ve heard in the morning too. 2 portaloos and fresh water. The view is incredible and can take a steep path down an amazing beach!

  • 5/5

Amazing spot, totally basic but that’s half the beauty. Stunning.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, we arrived very late and parked up, woke to breathtaking views, the farmer came around in the morning to take payment very friendly, great walks around the coast, will definitely stop again

  • 5/5

toller ort, toll idee....ich hoffe dieser Bauer findet nachahmer ..... und bitte verlässt den platz wie er bei ankunft war ! ! sehr sauber ich würde gerne 10 sterne geben

  • 5/5

Stumbled across this beauty one evening and we thoroughly enjoyed our nights stay. beautiful views, plenty of space, a very nice toilet and water facilities available. The site is directly on the South West Coastal Path too so there are beautiful walks either into Bude or towards Sandymouth Bay. Will be coming back again as for £10 a night it's a steal.

  • 3/5

  • 5/5

Lovely place to stay does get noisy Friday night but there's so much space you can find yourself a nice spot. Saw the most beautiful moon and shooting stars! Definitely worth the £10 a night. Portaloo and fresh water we managed to wash sand off the kids in it! Lovely stay!

  • 4/5

Great views to be had and loads of space to choose from for parking. Well worth the 10 Bucks. Nice and steady up the track and you will be happy.

  • 5/5

Been coming here for years, shame it’s not as quiet as it used to be but it’s still beautiful. Recommend tackling the dodgy track for this spot. Somehow got my lower swb caddy up the track just go super slowly. £10 a night, recommend bringing beers unless you wanna walk across the hills for an hour or two to reach the little shack for drinks at sandymouth beach

  • 5/5

Great weekend on the site. Previous comments pretty much cover everything. My only suggestion is that the farmer spend a bit of the income on improving the track. At least fill in the big holes?

  • 5/5

Stayed here over the weekend One of the best camping weekends I've had in a while! The field is huge, so easy to find your own space. Fantastic views and walks Saturday night was party night, which was fine for us, it was like being at a music festival, with a great atmsphere Massive beach once the tide goes out that you can walk along for what seemed like miles We will be back for sure :-)

  • 5/5

was really busy with over 150 campers but still plenty of room for us. fantastic views, great 30 minute walk into Bude. you have to stay here!

  • 5/5

This place is possibly my favourite in this area, bit busy Friday n’ Saturday but still loads of room to be away from the rest.

  • 5/5

Such a brilliant spot, had an amazing night here, so quiet away from roads, watched beautiful sunset. Beach below was lifeguarded, great for boarding. Just like others said, road up is bumpy but well worth it. Farmer collected £10 about 7.30pm.

  • 4/5

great spot. 10 pound per pitch with lush views, 3 beaches within walking distance along the coastal path the furthest being Bude about 30 minutes south down the coastal path. toilet and water facilities. Dog friendly.

  • 5/5

Stayed here August 2021. 8.3m twin axle Autotrail handled the bumpy road in ok. perfect off grid and wild location for nature. Coming back in August 2022.

  • 4/5

Great site will use again. A little bit undulating but enough places that are level. Don't tackle the dirt road without packing everything safe. Worth it for the view.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot. £10 was collected around 7pm. Plenty of space. Portaloo available and fresh water.

  • 5/5

Absolutely stunning views from a huge field, makes the trek up the track worth it! Owners are really friendly and came around to collect £10 about 7.30pm. About 15 vans here tonight. Portaloo in the corner of the field is executive level!

  • 5/5

great hidden gem beautiful spot only a few vans very quiet great views, cute little beach down the path. we arrived late and picked our spot and the farmer came in the morning to collect £10 and said no rush to leave. follow the gravel track to get to the field.

  • 5/5

We stayed 3 nights here. The farmer drives around the camps around 7.30pm to collect £10 off everyone. There’s a portaloo and fresh water tap at the entrance to field. Absolutely loved our stay, huge field to pick a spot in, some with better phone signal than others and some windier than others. Views to die for and a steep path going down onto the beach.

  • 5/5

What a spot. photos don’t do it justice. Very bumpy road to reach it and not suitable for larger wider campervans. Very friendly farmer lady was sweet and very helpful.

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night amazing views, hellish size field with plenty of room. Really clean porta loo by field entrance with outside tap for clean water. Levelling ramps are a must. Put rustic tea room into Google maps then follow the lane up behind the tea room and just keep driving up lane. Lane is quite bumpy and uneven so low vans with low profile tyres beware. £10 cash that farmer collects

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night. Truly beautiful spot. Incredible views and spacious field. Farmer is lovely. Spotless portaloo, fresh water and what seems to be an elsan point. Can't believe it's only £10. Well worth the dodgy road!

  • 5/5

great location, a lot of vans, but the square is also huge so there is room for everyone. Someone wrote earlier about young people playing music until morning, but I have no idea how he could hear it, because the sound of the waves drowns out all noise. Beautiful views and a really relaxing night

  • 5/5

Lovely site with lovely views. Lots of other vans were also parked up, but due the field being so large you couldn’t here anyone! Farmer comes round and collects the £10. The track wasn’t as bad as previous comments made it seem like, and we were in a LWB crafter. We took the advice to follow the postcode EX239ED, but follow the track up around the right.

  • 5/5

Lovely site , potaloo and water. The farmer didn’t collect the money off us so we went to the house down the dirt track on the left just as you leave the field to pay him. £10 per night. There were people playing music all night but I’t didn’t bother us.

  • 5/5

Brilliant! Cleanest portaloo I’ve ever used. Farmer comes around and asks for £10. You are on a cliff to be careful with dogs. A short walk down to the beach. Not many spaces which are flat it’s on a hill but around 30 spots well away from each other. Everyone friendly! Watched the sun set on the beach. 4g comes and goes. Wouldn’t wanna walk to the pub so bring beer. Your allowed fires roo but clear up so the farmer doesn’t change his mind.

  • 5/5

Quality 2 night. The path is very bumpy to the ground. Suggesting google maps to get an idea. Quality night upon a cliff edge. No fire pit- recommend heading B&M nearby and picking up one. Land owner came up and required £10pn where you got use of the toilet and drinking water tap.

  • 5/5

Excellent place to stop. We stayed mid November and were the only ones here. Farmer came to collect the £10 who was very pleasant. We were told this place gets rammed in the summer and I can see why. One portaloo and water available. We will be back for sure.

  • 5/5

I can reiterate everything the other posts have said. We found it a little difficult to find as our sat nav got very confused with the co-ordinate. It may be helpful to know that if you use EX23 9ED for the National Trust carpark at Northcott Mouth and if you ignore the carpark on your left and follow the road round to the right you come to the cafe and track that are mentioned in other posts.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, toilet and water available. Very good price £10 per night. Nice walk into town along the coastal path. The road to it is extremely rough with huge pot holes, don’t attempt to take a lowered van here you will damage it!

  • 5/5

Great spot for £10pn. Incredible panoramic views. Very dodgy road but we got a lwb sprinter up

  • 1/5

I back you up on that comment jen76. Been coming here for years but now it's far to busy. And full of youngsters playing music till the early hours. Not the quite little germ that it used to be. Shame!

  • 1/5

It WAS an amazing place to stay but now it’s ridiculously busy…tragic shame.

  • 5/5

Wow! Great find, brilliant views, so close to the beach, portaloo all for £10 per night. Just drive slowly up the track!

  • 5/5

This site is an absolute gem! Stunning views, sunsets:) Follow the small campsite arrows up the farm track, (don’t worry about the bumpy track it’s worth it) the camping field is really large, even if it is busy you can find a quiet place. some good level ground, but bring chocks. The porta loo is executive!! a water tap too. Dog friendly site. Steep cliff path down to Sandymouth, great swim spot.

  • 5/5

Unbelievable view, don’t be deterred by the dodgy looking road! Pass the tea rooms at the bottom and just keep on going up. Will 100% be back.

  • 5/5

This place is incredible, the views are amazing and it’s got a proper flushing toilet! For £10 a night it’s a total bargain. We didn’t initially find it easy to find. The sat nav will take you down to the beach carpark and then tell you to walk. Ignore it - the road carries on it doesn’t just turn into a public footpath. We’re in a long wheel base converted school bus, and made it fine

  • 5/5

A beautiful spot. Amazing on a calm night but I can imagine it would get windy quickly as it’s very exposed. Access roads are challenging but doable with care. I’d definitely think twice about bringing a motor home down here but our conversion was fine. £10 for the night, very friendly farmer with a clean loo and fresh water tap.

  • 5/5

Good value for money, the track to get here would be challenging in the wet. we had great weather thankfully.

  • 5/5

What a beautiful place to stay! 5 minutes to the beach (cliff climb down but manageable), absolutely stunning views! £10 per night friendly farmer and his wife come and collect payment on the evening. we stayed two nights and will definately be coming back. Road to the field is a little bumpy but we have a 4 berth camper and managed ok, would highly recommend!!

  • 5/5

Lovely spot, clean portaloo in field fresh water tap. amazing views. a little windy when I was here, the narrow road on way in was a little bumpy but worth it! farmer drive round to collect £10 per night

  • 5/5

Best cliff and sea views possible. Friendly farmer approached and took £10 cash. Portaloo. 40 min hike to Bude.

  • 5/5

Found this spot by accident on a walk. Spoke to a couple of guys who were camping and they told us how to get the van up. Beautiful spot, well worth leaving our campsite for.

  • 5/5

Fantastic local, friendly farmer and wife, lovely potaloo (which I never thought I would ever say!!!!!), fresh water and own access to the beach. Definitely worth a visit even with the ruff entrance road.

  • 4/5

We drove to this site to check it out in my son's car. It is in a beautiful position with views over a sandy beach to the sea. Access is the problem. Typical narrow lanes from Bude but after the cafe it detiorates into a very rough narrow and steep farm track over a concrete bridge. There were a couple of small coachbuilts there but we decided it wasn't worth the effort for one night.
