Beautiful open field, cliff top views, watched Bude’s New Year fireworks from here… tricky access but totally worth it! Great cliff top dog walks, access to beaches and close to Bude.

  • 4/5

Very bumpy access road, but totally worth it for the views

  • 3/5

Basic camp spot. Toilet and cold water tap. Very quiet, beach on your doorstep. Can walk into Bude if you want to. £10 the night.

  • 4/5

stayed last week only 5 or 6 vans so felt very spacious, track in is terrible but view is fantastic once parked

  • 5/5

Amazing place - amazing walks we be regulars

  • 5/5

We’ve stayed here lots of times and will be again…Fab place, not far from bude town, lovely views.

  • 4/5

Here last night. Clearly popular in summer; around 60 vans, a good number of tents and a couple of caravans. Good if you have your own facilities. Amazing sea/ cliff views if you get to the edge. Take care on the approach track!

  • 2/5

I dont get all the good comments. It is basically just a huge meadow where you can parc for £10 a Night. „Toilets“ mean there is one Dixi for everyone. Probably it is good in Winter but I would avoid the Place in high Season. Its like wild Camping with 300 other Cars and you have to pay for that. The view is nice though.

  • 5/5

Great site. I can see it from my house. But, please do not swim here. It is not safe. I have surfed here many times so I know what I am talking about. People have drowned here in recent years because of the currents. Better to swim at Northcott or Sandymouth where there are lifeguards.

  • 5/5

Once you've navigated the narrow lane that has more holes than the surface of the moon, you get to an amazing site. The best views. Really. The Best. Very quiet. Picked our own spot tens of metres from anyone else perched on the edge of the cliff. Bliss.

  • 5/5

Not much to add to the previous comments: the road is a bit rough but was easily doable in my L2 Boxer campervan, the field is huge and so feels like a private pitch, the coastal path walk and the beach are superb, and the view is magnificent! Highly recommended!

  • 5/5

Difficult access road. Sloping field. Spartan facilities. Taken overall......absolutely brilliant place. 5 stars.

  • 5/5

Absolute find!!!! This spot is perfect, stunning views and access to fantastic, empty beach. Clean facilities and lovely owners who pop by in the evening to collect their (very reasonable) £10 fee. You won’t want to leave! Thanks so much for a fantastic stay.

  • 5/5

What a find! The most stunning views and all for a tenna! The family are so lovely too. The field is well kept, the toilet is clean! The views are absolutely to die for. Best in the area for sure. The track up is bumpy but take it slow and you’ll be fine.

  • 5/5

Outstanding overnight stay, a very long and bumpy lane with a narrow bridge at the bottom next to sip and sea. Well worth the bumpy road up for the views £10 per night. Well worth had a 7.6m Motorhome and we made it to the top !!!!!

  • 5/5

Despite all the positive comments, I was quite apprehensive driving on the access track - seemed to go on forever. But the reward at the end was worth it! What a fantastic find!

  • 5/5

We stayed 2 nights here in our 6.3m motorhome. The location itself is great, amazing views and access to the coastal path which we used to walk into Bude. The track to get up here is very bumpy and uneven with potholes etc but it is doable if you just take it slow. I confirmed with the owner that the water is mains drinking water and the toilet is clean and well kept! We got good 4g on O2

  • 5/5

What a beautiful place! stayed here last night, farmer comes around collects £10 and off they went lol so much space so don’t have to be close to anyone if you don’t want to be. Cliff top views, will definitely be returning Toilets at top of field as you go in and a little coffee place called rustic coffee garden that is so cute i think its called sip+sea

  • 5/5

Writing this while sat on the van here, it’s everything you could want, the views are something else when they say parked in the cliff field you really are looking out on the Bristol Channel the only noise are cows and sheep it doesn’t get much better than this, farmer comes round in the evening to collect your £10. And there is cliff path down to a small beach and is perfect.

  • 5/5

Felt like a slice of heaven.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Lovely views . Very relaxed and a perfect cheap night away with an easy drive here

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Wow, what a great place! 10£ per night, toilet, tap and waste at the top of the field. Road is very bumpy to get to the field but so worth it! Great beach, walks yo a cafe either side!

  • 5/5

We spent our first night out in the van here and it is just amazing. The field is MASSIVE and you drive around and choose where to park. Waking up and opening your door to views of the North Cornwall coastline is sublime. We came on a random Saturday in March and there were half a dozen vans here, but it could easily hold 100. Toilet is basic but clean. We will definitely be coming back here.

  • 5/5

Fabulous site! First stop on our trip and beautiful views of the coast. Farmer comes around to take £10 payment for the night. Just a big open field right on the coastal path, would 100% recommend.

  • 5/5

Amazing place so much room and views that are amazing. Right on the coastal path. Easy walk into Bude off road. Owners are amazing. Drive up not for faint hearted but well worth it

  • 5/5

lovely park up for the first time using our van. will be definitely be back in the summer

  • 5/5

Open in winter! 4x4 comes by to take payment during the day, £10. Incredible views. Worth while driving up the pot-holed track. Toilet was plenty clean, toilet paper and soap both available. After wet weather, take care with the grass, was a bit slippery. Coastal walks are beautiful, as is the beach!

  • 4/5

We've a 6m motorhome so the road down to the start of the track was narrow and the 500m track a bit dodgy but once we were there - wow! Fabulous views. The portaloo was cleaner than many a campsite, there was water and a disposal point. Farmers called by for payment. Huge thanks to them if they read this. We stayed in dry weather - be cautious about the drive up the track after rain

  • 5/5

Great stop over and open all year, farmer and family very welcoming. There was no water or toilet but it was middle of December and only here 1 night. Track up were a few pot hole but nothing to bad. Top spot

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Found this on the app, absolutely stunning views from the cliff tops, a lovely safe place to stop over. It’s still £10 a night, has a toilet and water facilities, the farmer comes round about 6.30 to collect payment, if you’re later than that, they come and see you in the morning.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great spot right on top of the cliffs. Park where you like. Superb sunsets and only a tenner. Farmer comes round and collects about half 6 - 7pm. Water and toilet by entrance with chemical toilet disposal. Will defo use again.

  • 5/5

Amazing place, amazing views and amazing walks. Been a few times. When the road ends it’s just dirt track…keep going right to the top. £10 a night. Brilliant.

  • 5/5

    Absolutely amazing

  • 5/5

don't be put off by the stone bridge if I got over it in a burstner elegance i821 at 8.9m you can just go slow fantastic views lovely walks along cliff top or beach (keep a close eye on tide times) sandymouth cafe within short walking distance clean toilet/and water tap very friendly owners come round each morning and evening £10 per night worth every penny Will stay again

  • 5/5

Was really looking forward to staying here having read the feedback and I wasn’t disappointed! The track was fairly easy in my VW T4 if you drive carefully. The views were simply stunning.. the toilet which served a lot of campers was spotless and well respected and there was fresh running water. The best phone signal was on the higher section but it was windy! Will definitely be visiting again!

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Excellent laid back stop. We were there in August peak season and there were close to a hundred campervans, motorhomes, cars, etc. but there was still loads of space. Don't let the reviews describing the difficult access put you off, we were in Hymer 6.5m and had no problems (but take care on the narrow bridge on the track). Lots of park up choice, many sloping, but level spots too. Brilliant.

  • 5/5

A great campsite for £10 per night for 1 campervan. Amazing views and pretty much a private surfing beach at bottom of steep walk down cliff.

  • 5/5

Extraordinary views!!! Good 4g on top level of field, not so much on lower side. Owners incredibly friendly. Great toilet and water. will 100% be back

  • 5/5

Amazing spot, plenty of space on this large grass field and wonderful views. If you’re lucky enough to get the sunset that’s jackpot and definitely worth the 10£ that the farmer will collect from his pick up at 19:00

  • 5/5

Great place once you have found a level area. Be warned. Don’t rush down the lane as there is only room for one car Short walk along the cliff to gain entry to the beach and great view for the sunset

  • 4/5

Amazing place to stay if ur in a camper van or motor home, however I was in a roof tent so super windy and loud at night had to move so bear that in mind if u also are in a tent. Lovley lady came round no need to book just a cash payment of £10. Made a BMW go up there track which was very bumpy, however it did make it.

  • 5/5

Great place to stop for a couple of nights. only £10 per van. collected by farmer about 6pm. could not find elsan emptying. but there is a clan toilet and water tap. Nice walks on SW coast path both ways. wi fi is working but poor. Access road is quite narrow and bumpy, but doable in a motorhome.

  • 5/5

Amazing location, 13 mins from Bude and for only £10. The farmer and daughter, who are so friendly collect the money in the evening. Caters for 100 but only 12 on the site tonight. The dirt track to get here was a little scary but we did ok in a VW T5. Definitely worth a visit. We just saw a para glider land and set up his tent for the night.

  • 5/5

Beautiful views, only £10 a night, good signal near top of field.

  • 5/5

This is the most amazing view we have ever stayed at. It is only £10 a night. There is a very clean toilet and drinking water. There are two cafes on either side of the coastal walks. We ended up staying four nights here.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot. £10 a night and had a toilet and drinking water

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Fab place to spend the night with great views! Make sure you have cash as the farmer comes round on the evening to collect £10 (or in the morning for those arriving late). I’d recommend accessing the field via Nortcott Mouth Road, then onto Maer Lane (which is pot hole free) rather than via ‘Wildly Camping’ as the pot holes on that lane are large enough and deep enough to bottom out!

  • 5/5

Stunning place to spend a night! Even better than expected on the pictures.

  • 5/5

An incredible view at £10 a night. Perfect spot for us! We only planned to stay 1 night but did 2 in the end because it was so lovely. Clean toilet on site and a nice 15/20 minute costal walk down into Bude. Will most definitely be back. Make sure you have cash to pay the farmer.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

The most incredible campsite! The view is amazing, and there is so much space to choose a spot. Right next to long coastal walks and dirt cheap! If your vehicle is lowered below sort of 40mm I would suggest the dirt track up is probably not for you. Farmer states you can arrive anytime throughout the night and the gates are not locked, money will be collected in the morning if you arrive late.

  • 5/5

there's more potholes on my road, you soon forget about them when you reach the top, wow and so peaceful best spot in a long time,we loved it the baby and dog too I think the sweets helped lol big thanks to the owner.definetly coming back soon

  • 5/5

amazing place to watch a sunset and cheep £10 a night

  • 5/5

Such a lovely place to stay! Everyone was very respectful. So much area to park up so you can be really out of the way. Short walk down to the beach it’s a bit slopey but easily doable. Farmer come around every night and collects £10 cash. Would really recommend staying here! We stayed for 2 nights and it was bliss. Ground can be unlevel but just use chocks

  • 5/5

Absolutely beautiful. Steep slopes down to the beach but ok the kids (7 and 8 year olds)

  • 5/5

Stunning location, great 4g on Vodafone, bumpy drive to the field in my crafter, lots of other LWB veichles on the field, go slow! very quiet, would definitely stay again! owners came round in the eve to collect £10 cash and I stayed for 24hrs no issues

  • 5/5

Such a good find! Would give it more stars if I could. The view overlooking the cliff is stunning and there’s so much space meaning everyone can have a good amount of privacy. Southwest coastal path runs along the cliff side so you get a bit of foot traffic through the site. Owners drive around in the evening collecting the fee, £10 a night is not bad at all. They also provide a toilet at the entrance with running water. Walk to Bude is lovely too. We will definitely going back!

  • 5/5

This is one of the best park ups we have stayed at, it’s in a ( very friendly and decent couple of ) farmers field. The coastal footpath runs alongside it. stayed for 6 nights as it is so beautiful, stunning sunset, lovely walk into Bude along the beach. Friendly and chilled vibe here. One toilet. Became busy at the weekend with a few noisy parties. Bumpy entrance road. Some flat parking.

  • 5/5

Stayed overnight for the first time last weekend it was amazing. We were blown away by the view and had a fantastic stay. A 15 min walk along the coast to a national trust cafe and beautiful beach. The path up to the site was very bumpy and the field was on a hill so take chocks but overall it was fabulous and I will definitely be going back, a bargain for £10 a night

  • 5/5

Incredible views of the sunset as it’s west facing and only a 25 minute walk over the coastal path down in to Bude. You can leave your camper there all day at no extra cost.

  • 5/5

Spektakulär! Beste Aussicht, absolute Ruhe, viel Platz, fast wie frei stehen. ♥️ Ein Muss auf einem Cornwall Trip!

  • 5/5

The BEST stop over! Absolutely incredible views whilst walking, cooking and resting. Huge field with spotless portaloo. Really friendly farmers who pop around in the evening to collect the £10 fee. Up a bumpy track but not the worst we’ve driven up.

  • 5/5

Great views, spacious field. Road into the field was a bone rattler but once at the top I would say was worth it. No light pollution so great for star gazing at 3am while walking to dogs.

  • 5/5

Exposed cliff top location has basic loo and water and amazing views. Rough track was ok in Ducato camper but wouldn’t take anything low riding or much wider. Only a short distance walk along coast to Bude town and beaches. A hidden gem.

  • 5/5

First visit here; definitely won't be the last! Beautiful views from top of cliff site. Clean toilet and water available. Large field so able to park away from other vehicles. £10 in cash required for stay which is collected by the owner.

  • 5/5

fantastic peaceful site amazing views. owners lovely people.

  • 5/5

Great place to stay, don’t be fooled by the dirt track up to a large open space on the cliff top. The toilet was very clean and the farmer came round in the evening to collect £10. Would definitely stay again.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

What a site! The views! On our approach here we thought "this is definately the wrong way, let's turn back!" But a lovely lady in her campervan coming back down the gravel track & assured us we weren't! There's plenty of space, some areas are flat some are sloping. It can be quite windy but that's part of the fun isn't it, especially in a van?

  • 5/5

A real gem of a find. As noted by others you think it's a 'track to nowhere' but then it leads out to a very large field with fantastic views. very quiet site with water and a decent toilet. Really decent couple came round in their van to collect the site fee in the evening. I would definitely stay again and recommend it. Thanks to this site and everyone who recommend it.

  • 5/5

lovely spot with incredible views and sunsets... easy walks to several beaches and great surf. Not sure I'd recommend during high winds or rain though

  • 5/5

A real hidden gem. Enormous & right on the cliff, amazing sunsets and by far my favourite place i’ve camped. Definitely coming back! Minus the potholes and wind.

  • 5/5

We have just come back from a 2 night stay and it was fantastic! We took our dog who also loved it. Beautiful views and toilet clean. It’s £10 per night and this is collected by the farmer.

  • 5/5

Absolut empfehlenswert.

  • 5/5

a bit windy but realy great views and clean toilet

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night - stormy weather but was amazing seeing and hearing the waves crashing at the bottom of the cliff. £10 cash collected by the farmer, single toilet (proper toilet encased in a porter loo shell) and running tap. Can imagine it’s busy in good weather. Don’t be put off by the track up to the field it’s worth it

  • 5/5

Great stop over! Has a flushing toilet and running water - basic camping but amazing views! Huge field so everyone has their own space. Farmer drives around and collects cash in the evening :)

  • 5/5

absolutely amazing ocean/beach views, huge field with just a handful of tents and campervans here. portoloo but we're self contained so don't need it. narrow bumpy road to get here but as others have said totally worth it. so happy we came here! I can hear the waves crashing...

  • 5/5

Excellent spot! Beautiful views and quick walk to the beach… perfect for surfing. the road there is difficult but worth it, also the walk to the supermarket/pub is 10/10!

  • 5/5

Thos camp site is a real Gem for 10.pounds i don't think you'll find a better stay. Field is on a beach cliff the views are fantastic...we watch the sun set . Real friendly and relaxed site. Bude is a 40 minute walk along the coastal path. Loads of bars and restaurants. Running water and flushing toilet on the field. Road to field is tight but we managed it in or small motorhome .

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Such a lovely spot. You can pick your place but plenty of room. Sandymouth is our favourite beach and been meaning to camp here for ages, you can walk down a steep path to the beach. Proper flushing toilet, fresh water and toilet roll Road up was a bit rough but we already knew that. Owners friendly and welcoming. At least 3 cafes within walking distance. We will be back as local!

  • 5/5

Stayed here and what a great park up, £10 cash which is collected, portaloo and running water.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Popped here last minute and it was amazing. The views were beautiful and perfect spot for a sunset. The owners were very welcoming and friendly. Make sure you have £10 cash to pay for a spot. Loads of space so you can pitch up away from other happy campers - be aware the field isn’t level all over. Flushing and clean toilet as well as running water - all at the entrance. The track up is uneven with some potholes. There’s a café within walking distance as is the beach! All in all we are definitely coming back.

  • 5/5

We’ve stayed here plenty of times. One of our favourite spots and the owners are super friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone

  • 5/5

Absolutely stunning cliff top views overlooking the beach and worth every penny! Stayed mid week, very peaceful! Farmer collects money 7pm & 9am. Great sea swim (pebbles when you initially get on there, then lovely sand!). The road in is very rocky with pot holes, just take it slow (I was absolutely fine in my MWB Movano). Flushing toilet and drinking water tap by the entrance! Awesome place!

  • 5/5

Wow worth the bumpy track. Veiws are stunning. Massive field right on top of the cliffs. Cafe at sandy mouth has breakfast & lunch menu ?

  • 5/5

Wow! Just wow! Absolutely recommend! Rough pot hole track there, take it slow - so worth it!! Without fail the absolutely lovely farmer was around at 7PM & 9AM to collect £10 cash! The toilet looks like a weird portaloo but it’s absolutely lovely! Nice clean water there also! Even in the rain the field was brilliant, compacted and the higher ground was great so no worry about getting stuck!!

  • 5/5

Absolutely love this place. First place I ever stayed in my van and still my favourite. VERY bumpy steep track to get here, one tap, one portaloo, and a massive clifftop field. The views are stunning, the beach is amazing, the skies are huge, all for a tenner! Weekdays are quiet, often empty, summer weekends can be like a festival. Take your pick, but it's always a lovely friendly vibe.

  • 5/5

What a beautiful spot. Friendly, quiet, clean flushing toilet, great views. We walked to sandymouth along the cliff top and then back along the cobbled beach (very steep steps at the nearest Cove to come back up to the camp site). We definitely wouldn't bring a motorhome here due to the very rough condition of the farmers dirt track to get here. Highly recommended for small campers and vans.

  • 5/5

  • 5/5

Great little park up, beautiful view, will definitely be returning in the summer months. Yellow warning wind and rain were the only things that ruined it.

  • 5/5

An absolutely stunning spot, and for only £10 a night, which the farmer will either collect at 9 am or 7 pm. You can park right up to the edge of the cliff next to the coastal path which makes it ideal for walks. However, my only gripe is that the road to the field is a dirt farmer's track up a hill, full of potholes and jagged rocks; our old VW T25 only just managed to make it.

  • 5/5

Brilliant site! Only £10 a night

  • 5/5

Dieser Platz ist sagenhaft!! 10£ sind absolut fair. Wasseranschluss vorhanden! Sehr liebe Menschen!

  • 5/5

Fantastic spot, however too noisy over the weekends. There were couple of visotors who played music loudly, we reprted it and the owner reacted what was nice. We have stayed 8 night in August. We love basic campsites with stunning views. 10per night per car. There is a flushable toilet. Access to the beach. We will def will come back again! Thank you for having such lovely places open for campers!!

  • 5/5

Absolutely outstanding, Drive in and pick a spot right on the clifftop and get Camping. Right on the coastal path so you can walk left or right along the rocky cliff tops or go down to the beach. There is a porta loo toilet on site and water but that’s your lot. You will be out in the elements. That is the attraction of this place. There is so much space to choose from it’s unbelievable. Amazing

  • 5/5

Amazing spot. The address doesn’t take you to the actual place, but if you continue following the road you end up on the field. The road to the field is very rough. Weak signal on EE.

  • 5/5

Awesome spot overlooking the sea, everyone was super respectful. Will definitely be returning!

  • 5/5

Amazing panoramic view. Enough flat spots to be comfortable. Clean flushing toilet and tap. Gorgeous sandy beach below. 10 min drive into Bude.

  • 5/5

Beautiful views, nice walk to beach, lots of surfers. Very peaceful at night. Water filling point at the entrance so don’t forget to fill up before finding a spot. Some places are very sloped.

  • 5/5

Wunderbarer Platz. Bargeld bereit halten.

Wow ! Definitely worth coming here ! The track up to the site is a bit adventurous and you’re not sure whether you’re heading to the right place but keep following the road and you’ll get here ! The farmer comes round and collects £10 around 7pm and I’ve heard in the morning too. 2 portaloos and fresh water. The view is incredible and can take a steep path down an amazing beach!

Amazing spot, totally basic but that’s half the beauty. Stunning.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, we arrived very late and parked up, woke to breathtaking views, the farmer came around in the morning to take payment very friendly, great walks around the coast, will definitely stop again

  • 5/5

Stumbled across this beauty one evening and we thoroughly enjoyed our nights stay. beautiful views, plenty of space, a very nice toilet and water facilities available. The site is directly on the South West Coastal Path too so there are beautiful walks either into Bude or towards Sandymouth Bay. Will be coming back again as for £10 a night it's a steal.

Lovely place to stay does get noisy Friday night but there's so much space you can find yourself a nice spot. Saw the most beautiful moon and shooting stars! Definitely worth the £10 a night. Portaloo and fresh water we managed to wash sand off the kids in it! Lovely stay!

  • 4/5

Great views to be had and loads of space to choose from for parking. Well worth the 10 Bucks. Nice and steady up the track and you will be happy.

  • 5/5

Been coming here for years, shame it’s not as quiet as it used to be but it’s still beautiful. Recommend tackling the dodgy track for this spot. Somehow got my lower swb caddy up the track just go super slowly. £10 a night, recommend bringing beers unless you wanna walk across the hills for an hour or two to reach the little shack for drinks at sandymouth beach

  • 5/5

Great weekend on the site. Previous comments pretty much cover everything. My only suggestion is that the farmer spend a bit of the income on improving the track. At least fill in the big holes?

  • 5/5

Stayed here over the weekend One of the best camping weekends I've had in a while! The field is huge, so easy to find your own space. Fantastic views and walks Saturday night was party night, which was fine for us, it was like being at a music festival, with a great atmsphere Massive beach once the tide goes out that you can walk along for what seemed like miles We will be back for sure :-)

  • 5/5

was really busy with over 150 campers but still plenty of room for us. fantastic views, great 30 minute walk into Bude. you have to stay here!

  • 5/5

This place is possibly my favourite in this area, bit busy Friday n’ Saturday but still loads of room to be away from the rest.

  • 5/5

Such a brilliant spot, had an amazing night here, so quiet away from roads, watched beautiful sunset. Beach below was lifeguarded, great for boarding. Just like others said, road up is bumpy but well worth it. Farmer collected £10 about 7.30pm.

  • 4/5

great spot. 10 pound per pitch with lush views, 3 beaches within walking distance along the coastal path the furthest being Bude about 30 minutes south down the coastal path. toilet and water facilities. Dog friendly.

  • 5/5

Stayed here August 2021. 8.3m twin axle Autotrail handled the bumpy road in ok. perfect off grid and wild location for nature. Coming back in August 2022.

  • 4/5

Great site will use again. A little bit undulating but enough places that are level. Don't tackle the dirt road without packing everything safe. Worth it for the view.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot. £10 was collected around 7pm. Plenty of space. Portaloo available and fresh water.

  • 5/5

Absolutely stunning views from a huge field, makes the trek up the track worth it! Owners are really friendly and came around to collect £10 about 7.30pm. About 15 vans here tonight. Portaloo in the corner of the field is executive level!

  • 5/5

great hidden gem beautiful spot only a few vans very quiet great views, cute little beach down the path. we arrived late and picked our spot and the farmer came in the morning to collect £10 and said no rush to leave. follow the gravel track to get to the field.

  • 5/5

We stayed 3 nights here. The farmer drives around the camps around 7.30pm to collect £10 off everyone. There’s a portaloo and fresh water tap at the entrance to field. Absolutely loved our stay, huge field to pick a spot in, some with better phone signal than others and some windier than others. Views to die for and a steep path going down onto the beach.

  • 5/5

What a spot. photos don’t do it justice. Very bumpy road to reach it and not suitable for larger wider campervans. Very friendly farmer lady was sweet and very helpful.

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night amazing views, hellish size field with plenty of room. Really clean porta loo by field entrance with outside tap for clean water. Levelling ramps are a must. Put rustic tea room into Google maps then follow the lane up behind the tea room and just keep driving up lane. Lane is quite bumpy and uneven so low vans with low profile tyres beware. £10 cash that farmer collects

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night. Truly beautiful spot. Incredible views and spacious field. Farmer is lovely. Spotless portaloo, fresh water and what seems to be an elsan point. Can't believe it's only £10. Well worth the dodgy road!

  • 5/5

great location, a lot of vans, but the square is also huge so there is room for everyone. Someone wrote earlier about young people playing music until morning, but I have no idea how he could hear it, because the sound of the waves drowns out all noise. Beautiful views and a really relaxing night

  • 5/5

Lovely site with lovely views. Lots of other vans were also parked up, but due the field being so large you couldn’t here anyone! Farmer comes round and collects the £10. The track wasn’t as bad as previous comments made it seem like, and we were in a LWB crafter. We took the advice to follow the postcode EX239ED, but follow the track up around the right.

  • 5/5

Lovely site , potaloo and water. The farmer didn’t collect the money off us so we went to the house down the dirt track on the left just as you leave the field to pay him. £10 per night. There were people playing music all night but I’t didn’t bother us.

  • 5/5

Brilliant! Cleanest portaloo I’ve ever used. Farmer comes around and asks for £10. You are on a cliff to be careful with dogs. A short walk down to the beach. Not many spaces which are flat it’s on a hill but around 30 spots well away from each other. Everyone friendly! Watched the sun set on the beach. 4g comes and goes. Wouldn’t wanna walk to the pub so bring beer. Your allowed fires roo but clear up so the farmer doesn’t change his mind.

  • 5/5

Quality 2 night. The path is very bumpy to the ground. Suggesting google maps to get an idea. Quality night upon a cliff edge. No fire pit- recommend heading B&M nearby and picking up one. Land owner came up and required £10pn where you got use of the toilet and drinking water tap.

  • 5/5

Excellent place to stop. We stayed mid November and were the only ones here. Farmer came to collect the £10 who was very pleasant. We were told this place gets rammed in the summer and I can see why. One portaloo and water available. We will be back for sure.

  • 5/5

I can reiterate everything the other posts have said. We found it a little difficult to find as our sat nav got very confused with the co-ordinate. It may be helpful to know that if you use EX23 9ED for the National Trust carpark at Northcott Mouth and if you ignore the carpark on your left and follow the road round to the right you come to the cafe and track that are mentioned in other posts.

  • 5/5

Beautiful spot, toilet and water available. Very good price £10 per night. Nice walk into town along the coastal path. The road to it is extremely rough with huge pot holes, don’t attempt to take a lowered van here you will damage it!

  • 5/5

Great spot for £10pn. Incredible panoramic views. Very dodgy road but we got a lwb sprinter up

  • 1/5

I back you up on that comment jen76. Been coming here for years but now it's far to busy. And full of youngsters playing music till the early hours. Not the quite little germ that it used to be. Shame!

  • 1/5

It WAS an amazing place to stay but now it’s ridiculously busy…tragic shame.

  • 5/5

Wow! Great find, brilliant views, so close to the beach, portaloo all for £10 per night. Just drive slowly up the track!

  • 5/5

This site is an absolute gem! Stunning views, sunsets:) Follow the small campsite arrows up the farm track, (don’t worry about the bumpy track it’s worth it) the camping field is really large, even if it is busy you can find a quiet place. some good level ground, but bring chocks. The porta loo is executive!! a water tap too. Dog friendly site. Steep cliff path down to Sandymouth, great swim spot.

  • 5/5

Unbelievable view, don’t be deterred by the dodgy looking road! Pass the tea rooms at the bottom and just keep on going up. Will 100% be back.

  • 5/5

This place is incredible, the views are amazing and it’s got a proper flushing toilet! For £10 a night it’s a total bargain. We didn’t initially find it easy to find. The sat nav will take you down to the beach carpark and then tell you to walk. Ignore it - the road carries on it doesn’t just turn into a public footpath. We’re in a long wheel base converted school bus, and made it fine

  • 5/5

A beautiful spot. Amazing on a calm night but I can imagine it would get windy quickly as it’s very exposed. Access roads are challenging but doable with care. I’d definitely think twice about bringing a motor home down here but our conversion was fine. £10 for the night, very friendly farmer with a clean loo and fresh water tap.

  • 5/5

Good value for money, the track to get here would be challenging in the wet. we had great weather thankfully.

  • 5/5

What a beautiful place to stay! 5 minutes to the beach (cliff climb down but manageable), absolutely stunning views! £10 per night friendly farmer and his wife come and collect payment on the evening. we stayed two nights and will definately be coming back. Road to the field is a little bumpy but we have a 4 berth camper and managed ok, would highly recommend!!

  • 5/5

Lovely spot, clean portaloo in field fresh water tap. amazing views. a little windy when I was here, the narrow road on way in was a little bumpy but worth it! farmer drive round to collect £10 per night

  • 5/5

Best cliff and sea views possible. Friendly farmer approached and took £10 cash. Portaloo. 40 min hike to Bude.

  • 5/5

Found this spot by accident on a walk. Spoke to a couple of guys who were camping and they told us how to get the van up. Beautiful spot, well worth leaving our campsite for.

  • 5/5

Fantastic local, friendly farmer and wife, lovely potaloo (which I never thought I would ever say!!!!!), fresh water and own access to the beach. Definitely worth a visit even with the ruff entrance road.

  • 4/5

We drove to this site to check it out in my son's car. It is in a beautiful position with views over a sandy beach to the sea. Access is the problem. Typical narrow lanes from Bude but after the cafe it detiorates into a very rough narrow and steep farm track over a concrete bridge. There were a couple of small coachbuilts there but we decided it wasn't worth the effort for one night.
