We look forward to welcoming you again at Easter 2026. ⛺ Camping in nature – close to the city: Camping in the middle of nature on the outskirts of Silkeborg, yet close to the city centre. The lakes (Silkeborgsøerne) are only a few hundred metres from the camp. Nice hiking trails start right outside the site, and mountain bike trails are nearby too. ✅ Easy arrival – even outside opening hours: If you arrive outside reception opening hours, you can easily drive to your pitch if it has already been booked. Alternatively, you can book a pitch online upon arrival – just follow the instructions by the door. ✅ Always access to comfort: As a guest at Ly Outdoor Camp, you’ll always have access to a hot shower and kitchen facilities – both indoor and outdoor – even if you arrive outside office hours. ✅ Motorhome-friendly: Motorhomes are welcome on both dedicated motorhome pitches (195 DKK incl. 2 persons – 10 pitches available) and regular pitches. There may also be space in the parking area outside the camp (145 DKK incl. 2 persons). These spots cannot be reserved in advance, and electricity is not available. ✅ Shared facilities & cozy vibes: Our Common House has space for dining on rainy days. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, stove and outdoor barbecue. There’s also a covered outdoor kitchen with a gas stove. In the Social Area you’ll find a cozy campfire spot – and now and then we host events with social dining and live music. ✅ Activities for all: Canoes and kayaks are available for rent. Kids can enjoy outdoor games and space to play, including a playground and a jumping pillow. We also provide fishing nets and terrariums for exploring the forest and the lake. And for the grown-ups (or adventurous kids): some of Denmark’s very best mountain bike trails are located close to the camp. There are also fantastic hiking and running routes in the beautiful nature of the Søhøjlandet area. ✅ New owners from 2024: Expect a fresh and welcoming atmosphere – we’re all about nature, community and cozy camping life.

Campsite with perhaps the best view in Denmark. Terrassen Camping is a 4-star campsite with 240 units. Most of these are located on terraces, so that the magnificent view of the Silkeborg Lakes can be enjoyed unobstructed. Terrassen Camping is Denmark's second highest campsite with a direct view of Himmelbjerget and Julsø. The campsite is child-friendly and offers exciting activities. The site has an outdoor heated pool, mini golf and a playground for the little ones.

Holmens Camping in Ry is an idyllic campsite that offers experiences for the whole family. Surrounded by beautiful nature, the place is ideal for canoeing, fishing, hiking and cycling. With a central location, you have easy access to some of Denmark's most popular attractions and sights. We look forward to welcoming you to a cozy and relaxing holiday in the scenic Søhøjland.

Stay on site and enjoy all our facilities and a perfect view over the fjord. In general, all our pitches have a hard surface and are therefore suitable for motorhomes. We also have pitches special for motorhomes. Pitches with a private terrace overlooking Mariager fjord. The pitches are paved – and provide the most beautiful sunrise and sunset. And pitches with water and drainage. The pitches are easy to access and are suitable for both small and large motorhomes. You can use our “Camper service” free of charge when you stay at the campsite. With the “Camper service” you can have your waste water and chemical toilet emptied, as well as refilled your drinking water. Small harbor and nice village nearby (200 m). Many children's games.
