Height barrier currently down due to Storm Arwen(?) Still a great place to park up, dogs love this beach! Used to be our favourite stopover but not sure we'll stay overnight due to other people's comments about policing!

Definitely not allowed to overnight - clear signs posted and local shopkeeper said it is policed. Height barrier at 2.1 meters at beach and car park set just beck by fishing workshop.

Couldn’t get to it as new barrier fitted so no access parked few hundred metres down on the promenade fantastic views of clean beach n sea.

Stopped here last night nice and quiet , excellent views , and dolphins in the bay if your lucky to spot them , will use this spot again.

Planned to stop here last night but there was a 2.1 metre height barrier now in place, and i believe the amusements on the prom is closed down now, thanks to the local council killing tourism and another business

Free parking with no restrictions and no facilities. Right on the beach with amazing views of the river and town of berwick. Short walk along the prom into spittal where a local shop, play park cafe and amusement arcade. Spoke to local businesses (pub, ice cream trader and amusment/cafe owner) and they like the fact that campers come to spittal and spend money locally but car park is mostly used by dog walkers and some seem to get upset when there is no spaces left. We stayed here two nights and there was 12 on the first night and 11 on the second so park sensible.

Spend the night here alongside 4 other camper vans. Plenty of parking spaces, no height restrictions and also close enough to amenities. Only down side were the ‘boy racers’ who gathered in numbers with noisy exhausts, even on a Sunday night. This said, they were all away by midnight so we managed a few hours extra sleep in the morning.

Parked up at 5pm joined by 2 fellow free campers sometime during the evening. great spot. heard the waves all night lovely. No ' no camping' signs so felt ok to stay after an energetic day walking round Berwick. Busy with dog walkers morning and night so park sensibly, we wouldn't want to loose this spot

De retour d'Écosse, nous y avons passé la nuit sans problème. A partir de 20h, il n'y avait plus de voiture, 3 camping-cars sont restés la nuit. Superbe vue, grande plage, balade dans la promenade en herbe.

Idéal pour journée ou pause à la plage. Pas blindé et promenade avec le chien sur la plage. Aucune interdiction d'y passer la nuit. Aucun service.

Realy very good place to stay. Beautiful view on the see and lighthouse. Quite in the evening.

Au bord de la plage, vue et balade superbe. Beaucoup de va-et-vient. Aucune interdiction visible, gratuit et très agréable.

Cadre splendide, endroit très calme. Belles balades à faire le long de la plage et des falaises, ainsi que vers la ville.
