Falmouth, South West Coast Path

Smashing view, no height restrictions, was a mobile coffee van here, peaceful and free !! didn’t kip just visited during the day. Got busy round lunchtime, think locals have break here.

Great spot during the day. We risked the night as there were a couple of other campers. Cars coming in and out all through the night. We were woken at 5am by a car parked facing us with full beam on and engine running. I got out to see what was up and he drove off. When the sun came up I discovered somebody had thrown a couple of eggs at the van too. Great spot for the day but next time I’ll move round to the coastal road at night. Seemed to be loads of campers parked up.

Motorhomes prohibited between 23:00 - 08:00

Nice place to park, lots of other vans around, lots of space. Nice view. No services there, but castle nearby to visit. Very exposed though, so rather windy, to be expected.

Amazing spot surrounded by incredible views. Lots of space to park, no charges, if it wasn't for the fact it is quite exposed and 50mph winds in the forecast we would have stayed here overnight!

We spent 3 lovely nights here on the lower car park with other vans surrounded by fabulous views of the River Fal and Falmouth Bay and looking straight over at the real Fraggle Rock from the 1980's television programme. We could see seals bathing at low tide on Black Rock. There's beautiful circular walks around the castle and the lovely town centre and quays are around 20 minutes stroll away.
