Spornes is just outside Raet national park. Situated on Tromøy it is a great camping destination with several accomodation sites nearby. Spornes "skytebane" is public property with no regulations on parking/campers. Tenting is only allowed on camping sites and east of Spornes beach (off grid tenting). No tenting on Spornes or Hove Public areas. Up to two nights of tenting allowed. Dogs must be kept on leash from April 1 until September 1. Owners of loose dogs will be fined if controlled - frequently visited by officials. Litter bags can be collected by the parking lot nearby if you want to help tidy our beaches and reduce marine plastic waste. Several graves from the bronze age and excellent viewpoint on top of the island scurries. Several Military instalaltison in the area and very high diversity of birds, plants and insects.

Zufahrt ist uneben bin aber mit unserem 7,5m teilintegrierten locker rein gekommen. Sehr viel Platz, absolute Ruhe. Haben mit einem anderen Womo hier übernachtet. Man kommt über die Felsen auch bis zum Wasser. sehr schöner Platz für 1-2 Nächte. Edit: Die zweite Nacht war tierisch laut. ein Norweger stand hier und hat bis 6uhr seine eigene Party gefeiert. Achtet drauf wer mit euch nächtigt.

Entrance is like driving in Iceland, many potholes. Not recommended. Place itself is sheltered and green.

Der Platz ist zwar teilweise etwas uneben, aber sehr weitläufig, so dass sich immer ein passender Platz finden sollte. In der zweiten Augustwoche 2018 war es sehr ruhig auf dem Platz, da die Sommerferien in Norwegen zu Ende gehen. Reiner Parkplatz, ohne jeglichen Service, ruhig und in direkter Nachbarschaft zu Felsenküste. Nicht zum Baden geeignet.

No sea view because of the high trees and bushes. Very large but also very secluded place to stay. I moved to the spot 300 meters down the road (see this app) which felt much more open (and has more anminities). I would recommend the other spot.

Kann die Aussagen meines Vorrednes nur bestätigen. Absolut ruhig und außer uns (Wochenende) stehen nur die geparkten Autos der Einheimischen, die ihre Häuschen in den Wäldern haben, hier. Zugang zum Meer über kleine Trampelpfade, die mit grandioser Aussicht aufwarten. Für Camper mit Hund/en absolut zu empfehlen, da auch genügend Auslauf vorhanden.

Endroit très calme à l’écart de la route. Pas de vue sur la mer car il y a des arbres qui obstruent la vue. Possibilité de descendre sur des plages de galets. Sol relativement plat en gravier. Début juillet, nous étions seuls sur le parking.
