() Kotor - P1

Great to visit fortress but not the best overnight spot we’ve stayed in. Glass everywhere on floor, not that many flat spots, and a huge bus brought up loads of young people who played loud music and ate on the fortress until around 10pm. Think it must have been a hostel trip. We didn’t mind but some people probably wouldn’t feel comfortable. Fortress and views both amazing though! We slept well

There is glass on the floor, but doesn’t look dirty. Cow bells wake you up in the morning, they are friendly and you can pet them. Great view! There is a spot where there is a big bush that gives shade to till 10am.

Pas du tout d'ombre et beaucoup de morceaux de verre au sol, mais sinon le spot et la vue sont sympa

Eine unfassbar schöne Aussicht. Es kann sehr windig werden, aber ansonsten super für eine Nacht.

Schöner Stellplatz mit tollem Sonnenuntergang. Es waren zwei andere Camper vor Ort. Leider wirklich sehr viele Scherben! Der Ort war auch einfach ohne 4x4 zu erreichen. Streuner haben wir dort keine gesehen, stattdessen haben ein paar Kühe den Rasen gemäht.

Enge und längere Anfahrt über Serpentinen, aber gut machbar. Das Fort bietet einen tollen Ausblick - daher kommen aber auch relativ viele Menschen mit Autos vorbei. Viele unebene Plätze, wir standen von unten kommend etwas links vom Fort. Leider auch viel Müll.

The views here are stunning, we had great fun exploring the fort as well, bring a torch! There lots of broken glass, we had to be careful walking the dogs around the area. Unfortunately a minibus arrived spilling out around 20 people with giant speakers, they took over the top of the fort for the entire evening and the bus driver parked right in front of us which spoilt the feel for us a little.

Atemberaubende Sicht, traumhafter Sonnenuntergang und sehr friedlich, kaum Verkehr. Man steht recht exponiert für Wind und nicht wirklich sichtgeschützt, aber für eine Nacht ging das gut. Wir haben weit vorn an der Straße geparkt, da die Ruinen im Dunkeln ein bisschen gruselig sind.

Schöne Aussicht und interessanter Bunker. Leider liegen viele Glasscherben verteilt auf dem Parkplatz und es gibt nicht viel Platz zum gerade stehen. Wenn man dann noch Nachbarn hat die einen nachts unfreundlich vertreiben weil man deren Ausblick aus dem Bett stört wird es schwer an dem Spot.

Platz mit super Aussicht auf die Bucht. Zum Sonnenuntergang oft Einheimische vor Ort um diesen zu genießen. Hin und wieder ein vorbei fahrendes Auto. Nachts sehr ruhig. Zufahrt über die Serpentinen etwas eng bei Gegenverkehr. Einheimische grüßen freundlich. Achtung mit Hunden: Aufpassen auf Glasscherben.

Belle vue, peu de vraies places à plat. Visite du fort sympathique. Très sale malheureusement, et très exposé au vent.

Super guter Stellplatz, allein die Aussicht ist es wert hier hoch zu fahren.

Sehr schöne Aussicht und Platz für mehrere Camper. Die Straße ist zwar etwas schmal hoch aber asphaltiert. Wir kamen mit unserem 6m Van problemlos hoch. Hier oben ist ansonsten wenig los, wir standen die Nacht alleine hier.

A great view of Koto and at night it is quite magical. There are maybe 3 good flat spots the rest is all doable with ramps. Sadly there is a lot of glass shards on the floor so not the best for kids or dogs. very quite at night.

Beste Aussicht und ein Traum für alle, die es lieben alte Bunker erkunden. Kein Wasser und kein Schatten. Aber der Sonnenuntergang und der Ausblick waren es definitiv Wert dort zu campen!

Nice view but the gravel road is FULL of nails, metal and glass. 5 minutes walking and I had a full hand of nails (see picture). Please watch out.

bloody beautiful view for the sunset. The fortress is also really cool to go through. Same as previous comments flat spots hars to find but acceptable flat areas are there. but so so so worth it for the night. we had no issues with cars or noise.

Fort très joli à visiter , vue remarquable . A partir de 22h une voiture avec des jeunes ont mis la musique à fond, très très fort jusqu’à 3h du matin.

Un superbe spot ! Plusieurs personnes étaient posées au fort. Quelques vas et vient de voitures le soirs mais rien de dérangeant.

Aussicht ist top und es ist sehr ruhig! Aber alle Plätze sind schräg und der Platz ist voller Scherben und teilweise schauen grosse Eisenteile aus dem Boden.

Bon aparcament a sobre de Kotor. Bones vistes i tranquil. Se sent una mica la fressa dels avions quan s’enlairen i dels pocs cotxes que hi passen pel costat durant la nit. No està anivellat.

Bonitas vistas, pero muy muy ventoso. Además es prácticamente imposible encontrar puntos a nivel. Hemos dormido en un spot más protegido a 100m bajando por la misma carretera.

Sehr windig. Alle stellen sind schäg. Wir wollten keine Keile benutzen. Aussicht super. Anfahrt etwas nervenaufreibend da sehr eng und ständig Fahrzeuge entgegenkommen sind. Wir sind weitergefahren.

Standen drei Nächte Mitte November etwas weiter die Straße runter (vielleicht 100m) als diese Koordinaten. Es war sehr windig, da war es ruhiger. Der riesige Bunker ist sehr spannend. Es fahren wenige Autos vorbei.

Piękny widok, wspaniałe miejsce na nocleg. Wieczorami uwaga na spacery przy asfaltowej drodze, bo tutejsi mają ciężką nogę...

Hele mooie plek! Savonds is het drukker in de ochtend is er niemand. Behalve een hond, ezel en koe.

Tolle Aussicht, viele Camper dort. Nicht ganz ruhig durch Straße direkt davor, aber tolle Atmosphäre. Anfahrt ok, Straße recht eng.

Be careful: there are some metal parts coming out of the ground. They look like they could harm your tires badly. We arrived in the dark and were lucky not to hit them. But the spot is great with a nice view over Kotor! In the morning you can say hello to the friendly donkey and also watch planes starting from the Airport.

Amazing spot! Quiet night. You can have an even better view from the top of the bunker.

Super Aussicht, deutlich einfachere Anfahrt als die P1 Passstraße, kurzes Stück enge Straße aber mit ausweichbuchten. Lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!!! Der Bunker ist auch sehr interessant. Nachts sehr ruhig, sehr weitläufige Fläche somit auch Privatsphäre

Absolut empfehlenswerter Stellplatz, Hammer Aussicht über die Bucht und Kotor! Die Fahrt hinauf geht über Serpentinen, teilweise eng - aufpassen. Abends ein paar Jugendliche. Die sind aber gegen 22-23 Uhr wieder gefahren. Morgens kommen Kühe und der sweeteste Esel vorbei. Gut aufs Essen aufpassen, sie plündern. Die Bunker-Ruine ist auch interessant, durchzugehen.

Ein absolut toller Platz. Es ist sehr abgelegen. Der Platz wird auch von vielen Jugendlichen aufgesucht, jedoch fuhren die gegen 22 Uhr. Es war sehr ruhig. Morgens haben wir mit den Tieren gefrühstückt. Nehmt euren Müll mit. Bitte hinterlasst eine kleine Spende. Straße ist sehr schmal, in regelmäßigen Abständen Ausweichbuchten

La vu et le coucher de soleil sur la baie est incroyable. En journée il y a un peut de passage pour visité le fort et en soirée un peut pour voire le coucher du soleil. Une étoile de moin pour le nombre de morceaux de verres cassé. Et probablement pas de chance un couple est venu écouté de la music a côté de nous jusqu'à 2h30 du matin.

Sehr schöner Platz mit einem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Morgens kommen Kühe und Esel vorbei.

Unglaubliche Aussicht auf den Fjord mit atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergang. Abends waren noch Hostel Bewohner und Einheimische vor Ort und teilten mit uns den besonderen Moment. Würde jeden empfehlen den magischen Ort ( besonders durch das verlassene Gebäude) zu besuchen !

Coole bunker, fantastische zonsondergang, oordoppen zijn een must voor goede slaap wegens muziek uit de omgeving

Geteerte Straße bis zum Ende (und sogar ausgeschildert). Absolut ruhige Nacht dort verbracht mit fantastischem Blick über die nächtlich beleuchtete Bucht. Fantastisch!

View is nice,a road is good,but the waste everywhere(condoms,paper towel etc).young people had a disco here at 1am.

Hele toffe plek. Er stond met ons nog 1 andere camper voor de nacht. Er kwamen een paar mensen met de auto ook van het uitzicht genieten. Rustige nacht gehad. Prachtig uitzicht. Toffe plek met het fort wat ook leuk is om doorheen te gaan met lamp.

Der Platz ist zum übernachten gut geeignet, die Straße hoch ist sehr schmal und Bäume hängen etwas tief. Platz ist nicht gerade. Mehrere Fahrzeuge Platz. Nachts hier und da ein Auto. Sehr dunkel und ruhig.

Schöner Platz an nem alten Bunker , der Stellplatz ist nicht zu 100% gerade und es liegen winige scherben rum , aber man hat eine super Aussicht auf Kotor :)

Wow was ein Platz. Zum Sonnenuntergang kommen auch andere sonst hat man den gigantischen Blick ganz für sich alleine.

Leuke plek. Super uitzicht over baai van Trivat en Kotor. Het fort is zeker een bezoekje waard. Er ligt vuiligheid, maar enkele locals proberen hier verandering in te brengen. Af en toe kwamen wat mensen het fort bezoeken, maar we hadden een rustige nacht.

Incredible view. The spot is used by locals enjoying the sunset & making fires. After 11 it was completely calm though and in the morning we just saw cows and donkeys strolling by that beautiful scenery. Please leave the place cleaner than you found it.

Summer 2018 - When we arrived, other people were already standing here. We asked if we could stay here too - they told us no. Sad story :D but place looks good (:

Nice view, calm during the night. But yes it is dirty with a lot of broken glaces, so be careful. Spent 3 nights here. One moment a guy came and ask for money, we said no and he left. Road is ok for campervan.

Very dirty which makes it very uncomfortable and also directly next to a street. The view is ok but wouldn't stay here another night.

06/11/2019. Ok avec commentaires précédents. Seuls les 2 derniers km sont étroits et les croisements très difficiles.

Lots of trash and glass around, even saw some syringes. Not very appealing. The terrain is not very level and, to this time, the floor is quite soft partially, we needed some time to straighten us, even with wedges. The view is definitely nice, and in the morning the donkey came to visit us.

Jolie vue mais très sale, et du verre partout. A éviter avec un chien du coup.

Spot parfait, calme. Un de mes préférés. Idéal si vous avez des animaux. Le matin on a croisé un âne en liberté et une vache ils ne sont pas sauvage. Le fort est à visiter ! A 15 mn de Kotor.

Stayed one night and had a spectacular sunset view. 5 other vans around too! the road was narrow and windy up but nothing a good driver can't handle

Standen eine Nacht. bis 21:30 war Privatparty mit eigenem Bus, um 22:00 kamen 30 Einheimischen mit vielen Autos und feierten fröhlich weiter bis 3 Uhr in der Früh. Eher nicht so prikelnd.

We stayed here for two nights, both times with another van present, and thought it was an amazing place to spend two nights! The road up to the park is narrow and passing oncoming traffic can be a challenge, but the resultant views are incredible; you can overlook the bay of Kotor and out to the horizon, over the mountains. Worth stopping at for the views alone! There is room for 8-10 motorhomes, or more vans. Do be careful as there is quite a lot of broken glass around the place, along with poles sticking out of the ground approximately 1m (most of these have had beer cans placed on them to make them visible). The fort is great to look around (and climb), and in the morning there are friendly donkeys and cows wandering around the hill. There is a very timid but sweet natured and hungry black dog that apparently lives in the area; she won’t come near humans but seems to like company and definitely likes leftover food. Overall, a quality place to stop and an easy 15 minute trip to the centre of Kotor.

Absolute amazing view. unfortunately a lot of glass but it's not a big deal for the wheels.

Good place, great views. Careful of steel spikes sticking up in odd places (old fence posts cut off just abound ground level). And of course litter, but that is MNE...

Ein phantastischer Ort mit einer tollen Aussicht. Da es Samstag war, würde in der Festung bis in die Nacht gefeiert, ich wurde aber in Ruhe gelassen.

Sehr schöner Ausblick. Es gibt eine Trinkwasserquelle am Fuße des Berges (42.40339, 18.763676)

A beautiful place with a magnificent view. It’s not super flat and there were Some locals, but they didn’t disturb us. Great place for a night.

Spektakulärer Sonnenuntergang. Ein paar Jugendliche haben abends Musik gehört hat uns aber nicht gestört. Danke für diesen tollen Platz!

Endroit magnifique, coucher de soleil splendide, nuit très calme. Seul point négatif le verre et les déchets partout.

Toller Platz mit super Blick über die Bucht von Kotor - das Fort ist auch sehr abenteuerlich ;). Bei parken etwas aufpassen mit den Glasscherben — wir waren alleine oben, fühlten uns auch nicht unwohl, da sehr ruhig...

Good place. I stayed 2 night very good and good views with more vans. Yeasterday try to sleep again, But there was no one, and go to another site.

Super endroit. Vue magnifique. Le vent est un peu joueur la nuit. Accès sans difficulté pour tous gabarits.

3 stars for the view only ... The spot is very dirty, and at 2am a car with loud music parked close to us (we were the only camper !) and stayed a long time ...

Too much glass everywhere! We didn't risk driving to the flat part so went elsewhere. Drive over the glass at your own risk!

Amazing spot to spend an evening with other campers. Nice atmosphere and views. Please be kind to the black stray dog. I lost my heart for it. Keep the area clean and make sure you won't brake your tyres in metal bars popping from the ground.

Perfekt. hohe Wahrscheinlichkeit andere Camper zu treffen. Wir waren neun und haben zusammen ein nettes Feuer. Die Festung ist super spannend. Keine Probleme mit irgendwelchen Menschen . Der Hund, Mephisto de 2., Ist noch sehr jung und schreckhaft. Er hält Abstand und ist keineswegs aufdringlich.

Der schönste Stellplatz unserer Reise. Es kommen hin und wieder Menschen zum Fotos machen. Ein Hund streunert frei herum, bleibt aber auf Abstand. Haben zufällig mit drei Campern dort genächtigt.

Très bel endroit pour passer la nuit, avec une excellente vue sur la baie ! Il y avait beaucoup d’autres campeurs en même temps que nous.

Selbst im Dunkeln und bei strömenden Regen haben wir es gut bis hier oben geschafft. Und als sich am nächsten Morgen dann die Wolken lichteten, war der Ausblick traumhaft.

Unreal view of the bay next to a scenic fortress. would definitely recommend to go here!!

Definitely the best spot around the bay of Kotor so far. Superb views, especially the sunsets are just amazing! A few young guys were here until 20:00, but even they were super friendly. Access was steep but easy with the van.

The most incredible scenery up here and the fort is fun to explore. Stayed one night. Peaceful.

Vue magnifique sur la baie de Kotor, mais endroit très sale, attention aux morceaux de verre ! Fort à voir pour le point de vue mais un peu glauque, c'est surtout un squat. Pas de problème, lieu calme et silencieux, quelques passages de voitures seulement.

Juste fantastique. Un de nos meilleurs spots depuis 7 mois de road trip ! Attention, il y a des barres de fer qui sortent du sol par endroit.

We had an amazing night here! The panoramic views are incredible! We were only joined by another camper and in the morning 3 cows and a donkey came to say hello. No stray dogs but we heard jackals in the night. Some rubbish but nothing excessive as mentioned below. If we all took 3 pieces it would be clean in no time. We stayed on a Saturday night and were pleasantly surprised that it was silent and not a single night time visitor. Really fantastic spot, highly recommend!

Super joli point de vue sur la baie de Kotor. Merci pour le partage. Snack à cet endroit mais fermé à cette date. Nous avons fait le tour de la baie par la route et non par le bateau, route belle qui vaut le coup.

Scary arrival near this fort at 10pm, thanks to the comments below we paid attention to the broken glass (a lot of it) and the iron poles from former fence cut ( mostly located around 5m from the fort). A car of young people was there but left just after we arrived. Hard to find leveled ground, we parked just few meters from the entrance on the right when you face it. In Feb. people started to arrive at 8am to visit.

Vue magnifique sur le fjord et exploration possible du fort à côté, nuit calme, la route est étroite mais c'est accessible.

Très calme mais beaucoup de vent à notre passage. Pas très plat.

Montée un peu raide, mais vue magnifique une fois arrivé en haut.

Coin tranquille, super exploration du fort (bel endroit pour du géocaching).

Vue magnifique sur la baie de Kotor. Spot en haut de la montagne, à côté d'un fort Austro-hongrois. Un peu de passage de gens qui visitent le fort, mais autrement c'est un spot très tranquille. Attention au piquets métalliques dans le sol si vous vous garez près des douves. Malheureusement, il y a des déchets un peu partout.

Toller Platz 400m über dem Meer bei der alten Festung Gorazda, die zugänglich ist. Eine traumhafte Aussicht auf die Buchten, Kotor und das Meer incl Sonnenuntergang. Aber leider ist das gesamte Arreal voller Glasscherben und Müll - vermutlich wird es am Wochenende als Partylocation von den Jugendlichen genutzt. Während der Woche war es ruhig. Schade um diesen schönen Platz!

The whole place gives me goosebumps and we were so happy that we were not the only campers that night! That said, the view and the sunset were wonderful and the visit in the spooky fortress quite fun.

Wow, what views over the bay, this is up there as one of the best we've seen, and the sunset was awesome. The fort was fun. The sorrounding area to park is ok however there is to much rubbish as usual, we saw locals throwing rubbish like they didn't care, it's sad really...

Amazing view, quiet, quite nice to watch the planes which just took off from Tivat airport. Be carefull there are many broken glass bottles around the fireplaces. The fortress is very nice, but I think it's haunted :)

Schöner Stellplatz mit toller Aussicht! Abends war ein Wächter in Zivil da (saß in seinem Auto und hat aufgepasst, dass niemand ein Feuer macht). Standen dort mit 3 anderen Campern, war eine ruhige Nacht. Tagsüber hat man Sicht auf die Start- und Landebahn des Flughafens von Tivat.

Sehr schöner Stellplatz - tolle Aussicht. Das Fort ist auch sehr schön. Standen dort nur mit einem weiteren Van. Allerdings wenig gerade Flächen. Standen Samstags dort - anscheinend wird das auch gerne hier als Zuflucht der Jugendlichen genommen (es sind abends 2-3 Wagen gekommen und nach ca. 2h wieder gefahren...

La vue est belle mais pas d'ombre et loin d'être calme : il y avait déjà 3 vans à notre arrivée et plus tard dans la nuit, un groupe de jeune locaux est venu faire la fête sur le fort (musique à fond, hurlements etc..) Et vu les déchets qui se trouvent dans le fort cela doit être une habitude. Dommage, le spot est sympa sinon !

Very nice place next to a road with very little traffic. very close to Kotor. nice views and no problems. the fort is nice but dirty and not really interesting to visit inside. the views are nice though ;)

This place is fascinating. We stayed for one night with no problems. Beautiful views to the sea and you can explore the abandoned fort which is so interesting. In the morning we were awoken by cows and a donkey grazing near the van. Very special place
