Coombe, South West Coast Path

The National Trust does not allow any overnight parking or camping at any of its countryside car parks. It is against the byelaws. To help protect local wildlife, help avoid littering, fouling and fires it is the same rule for everyone. Hence the signs - No overnight parking - mean just that. Please do not park up here overnight; instead support the local economy and use an official parking area or campsite. Thank you

It’s not easy to enter with a long, large vehicle, but doable. There’s a large car park with no restriction. At 9am, there were 3 vans & a tent camper who clearly spent the night. It’s very busy during the day and many dogs. The beach is lovely once the tide goes. Pls take your trash with you and don’t throw things out the window of your vans, however small.

Please keep this spot clean. There are no bins, so take your rubbish home. Please stop lighting fires right outside your van on the grass! there's a beach 50ft away! Not great for bigger vans. Keep it clean and respect it and hopefully it'll stay available for a long time.

6.5 m campervan. Visited today and the lane is overgrown, but only soft growth so nothing damaging. No barriers, just signs saying £2+ donation and no overnight.

Have stayed here lots over the years, had a look today & Lane is overgrown so we didn't venture. so cannot report on height barrier.

There’s a sign on the road in saying no long vehicles / we ignored it for a little (6m van) and then the road got very steep and windy and we chickened out and turned back as soon as we could find somewhere. Would be interested to know if Nat trust have put a height restriction on this car park too this summer? And if others have done the drive in a lwb?

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was amazing. Only a few cars or campers came and went through out the day but none stayed. toilets are shut for the season. There was no sign to say no overnight parking like others said, maybe that is added during the summer too. Internet patchy if you're interested in that and the wind is very strong at this time of year.

Très bel endroit à côté d’une petite rivière et débouchant sur une plage galets et sable. Des toilettes « rustiques « et beaucoup de monde en journée Petite balade sur les collines environnantes. Le soir le parking se vide. Très calme. 2 panneaux qui précisent : no overnight parking.

In busy days in summer they sell drinks and foods. Nice signed walking trails beside coast. During day it can be crowded.

Beautiful place for overnight camping. Only a few surfer campers there. Felt safe. Enough space for at least 8 vans. Toilets closed when we were there (July 2018). No possibilty to drop garbage.

Ground quite uneven. Off peak you can find a flat spot. Wonderful cliff walks.
