Stayed for one night (09 May 2022). Large carpark by the leisure centre and sea. Sand dunes provided shelter. No problem till 4am when a car with 3 people parked close to us and caused some noise (slamming doors & chat). They also appear to be putting 'something' up their nose!! They did not approach us, but we decided to move rather then risk any altercation.

Super endroit pour passer la nuit, calme, en bord de mer, avec la piscine aussi ce qui est très pratique avec des enfants. Aucun service en revanche, pas même pour vider les eaux grises.

Usually fine but don’t stay if travellers there. The local council served me a notice along with them.

Fantastic for a service free location. By the beach but with a large sand dune to block the weather. Just by the leisure centre too, if you need those facilities when they open too.

Stayed for one night, plenty of space for our 7 metre Motorhome and small trailer. Perfect spot to enjoy the Antony Gormley statues.

Spent last night here, we arrived late afternoon, easy to park large motorhome. Literally on the beach. Walked up the dunes to watch the sunset. Cracking little place and felt safe even though we were the only ones staying. Did a litter pick as soon as we got here to pay our way

Cracker little carpark located on the edge of the dunes over the dunes there is the beach where you will find Anthony gormleys "another place"...carpark is adjacent to the swimming baths ...nearby (5-10mins walk) you will find shops,pubs, restaurants and the train station(s) which take you either to Liverpool city or Southport. ...and sand dunes...I mean c'mon... who doesn't like sand dunes???

Stayed one night, paid for it with a litter pick in he morning. pools staff got rid of the 3/4 full bag as I did not want to fill the bins until. close to the beach....2 min walk....well it is on the dunes. quiet on Sunday evening.

Quiet, lots of spaces, outside portaloos, right on the edge of a beautiful beach. perfect for dog walks. had a great night's sleep

Nice location, would definitely go during the day, car park busy until late in the evening, boy Racers making lots of noise sliding all-round car park then playing loud music. cars arriving and dog walker's from early in morning. will go again but not stay over night

Carpark was very busy when we arrived at about 6pm. But was empty by 10pm save for two other vans. There's a couple of different areas to park, we tucked ourself up against the dunes and had a very peaceful night's sleep. Spent the following day on the beach and left in the afternoon without drama. Portaloos still in place and a leisure centre (we didn't use) also on site. Bins all over too.

Had a lovely peaceful evening and night here with no problems at all. Right by the dunes and statues. There is a little convenience store a short walk away. Great place to watch the sunset with a glass of wine. Most people we saw were friendly dog walkers.

Not the best place in the world. Very public and lots of youths drinking and messing about. Great for a day out and walks, I would find a better location.

Pretty quiet during the night, dog walkers from early morning, very busy by 09.00. Really enjoyable having morning coffee sat in a sand dune. Car park seems pretty flat, we would definitely stay here again.

If you want to see Antony Gormley’s ‘Another Place’, this is the place to come :) We were the only van last night and it was very peaceful and you don’t get any closer to the beach. There are temporary loos but how long they are here for, we don’t know.

Nice little stop over free car park no height restrictions. Over the sand dunes to the beach. Car park is very busy Saturday mornings due to a park run at 9am so a bit noisy but other that great

Excellent emplacement. Tout proche de la plage. Presque personne la nuit. Pas mal de monde en journée (donc sécurité) car parking du centre nautique. Vraiment un bon endroit pour passer une nuit ou deux

Large parking place with lots of space. The beach (with the iron men) is super close and really beautiful. The swimming pool (costs £5,50 so a bit expensive) opens at 7 am and closes around 10 pm, you can use the toilet there. All around good parking space, the only downside is that it can be busy in the morning (so I woke up really early, my boyfriend didn't like that.)

Parkplatz für lau, direkt hinter den Dünen am Strand gelegen, sehr gut geeignet für Hundebesitzer, eine riesige Gassiwiese oder für einen ausgedehnten Strandspaziergang oder in den Dünen - in direkter Nachbarschaft zum öffentlichen Hallenbad mit angeschlossenem Cafe und Toiletten, geöffnet bis 22uhr - das Einzige was fehlt ist eine öffentliche Toilette für die Nacht - Alles in Allem sehr schön

Parking avec accès direct à plage. Attention aux méduses. Centre sportif ouvert jusqu'à assez tard donc du mouvement jusqu'à environ 23h mais sinon nuit calme. Si grosse nuit d'orages prévoir que les contours du parking sont pleins d'eau mais rien d'inquiétant en camping-car.

Haben am Tag des Championsleague-Finales hier übernachtet, waren schwimmen (8 Pfund für 1 Erwachsene und 1 Kind) und sehr viel am Strand. Die Statuen (Another Place) dort sind beeindruckend, die Leute sind alle wahnsinnig nett und kommunikativ und der Platz sehr ruhig. Nahe am Leisure Center hat man 24h WiFi Empfang (offenes Netzwerk!) und man kann dort während der Öffnungszeiten auf die Toilette gehen... super Pubs und Restaurants (Spitroast!!!) in der South Road, 20 Minuten zu laufen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: sehr helle Straßenlampen in der Nacht!

Nuit calme en compagnie de deux autres véhicules. Toilettes accessibles dans la piscine aux heures d'ouverture. Deux laveries automatiques à quelques rues de là.
