Very dark and quiet at night with wild deer around the area. Park so vehicle headlamps off the A939 dont hit your windscreen. Parcheggio vicino alla strada, su di un incrocio. Trafficata vista la zona, ma sopportabile. Appena dietro al parcheggio è stato aperto un capanno in legno (nuovissimo) per il bird watching. Fruibile anche ai disabili.

Nous avons dormi là hier soir. C'est assez boueux, mais relativement plat, à quelques minutes à pied des toilettes du centre du village, avec lavabo et eau chaude, super pratique et suffisamment propres. On s'est régalé à observer les oiseaux dans les champs voisins, avec la cabane d'observation pour s'abriter quand il s'est mis à neiger !! Laissez bien propre pour conserver ce spot :)
It’s a nice spot, quite open. Not many spaces which are all really only car sized. Previous camper vans seem to have pretty much ruined the grass borders around the parking spaces leaving muddy tyre tracks etc, so only park here if your van fits otherwise I suspect overnight parking will be banned. If your van is too big to park here then there is good overnight parking at the bowling club.
Great place to stay for the night. almost flat, and very quiet. Nice walks nearby.
Brilliant park up, near a road but very little traffic. If you walk down the path there’s a little hut with a pair of binoculars you can use for birdwatching. Although there aren’t any facilities, there are public toilets in tomintoul which is a 2/3 minute walk away.
Definitely recommend. We had clear skies all night for the stars. Very quiet. Tip: we went to the Richmond Arms Hotel for a pint but did not feel welcome at all. Food looked poor too. Suggest you try one of the other establishments instead
Great spot to park up with easy access to the local village (shops, restaurants, hotels and a pub!) and out onto some lovely walks! Really quiet. We were here 3 days and were the only ones here most the time!
Nice park up spot for the night, not too busy on the road, and handy little bays for parking in. Toilets are only 5 minute walk into town and it’s a good spot for bird watching
Perfect spot for star gazing (cloud cover permitting) and also bird watching. Road not too noisy after 9pm. 4 park up spots available, a few people arriving late with no spaces available so seems a popular stop so get here early enough. 5 minute walk into the village. There was a chip van and mobile cinema in while we were parked up (on a Tuesday).
Einfacher Stellplatz, wunderbar angelegt, kostenlos. Spaziergang durch die Felder ins benachbarte Örtchen mit Restaurants und Foodtruck. Viele Himbeersträucher auf del Rückweg. Ausgewiesener DarkSpot zum Sterne anschauen.
Mooie rustige plaats, rand van dorp. Er zijn 4 plaatsen. Wel kort langs de weg maar je merkt er weinig van. Bankjes en prullenbak aanwezig. We stonden met 2 campers. Loopafstand naar pub, restaurant, tearoom en we winkeltje in dorp.

Looks like a great stop over but please please leave a space for locals. I passed by today intending to stop off and walk the dog but campers had taken every single space. No wonder we end up with height barriers and no camping signs. Walked the dog in the car park which also allows campers... it was empty! Just think before you park up.
emplacement vraiment très calme la nuit. une vue incroyable sur le couché de soleil derrière les montagnes. De nombreux animaux. la ville à 5 min a pieds. nous étions 5 vans. je recommande pour un arrêt d'une nuit. car aucun service si ce n'est les toilettes publiques dans le centre ville.
We hebben hier 1 nachtje doorgebracht, het ontbijt in het café was lekker en betaalbaar. Af en toe passeert er een auto en 's ochtends was er wat lawaai van auto's die op en af rijden, maar als diepe slapers hadden we hier weinig last van.

Beautiful spot and lovely bird hide! Big spaces for 3 vehicles with picnic tables and bins available. Some passing traffic but didn't disturb me. Loved it here
Goed gelegen rustige plaats. Met observatie uitzicht vogels, darksky. ‘s Avonds is er nog wat verkeer, maar ‘s nachts bijna niets.

Super spot. Rando au départ. Nous y sommes restés 3 nuits. C était les highlands games. Poubelles hyper calme. Places pour 4 camping car.
Place for 4 campers / cars. Very quiet area. Can only hear birds. Nice views. There is a picnic table and bins. 4G service for virgin. It is next to the road, but not a lot of cars in the evening.
Really great spot with 4 spaces ideal for camper-vans / motor homes. We got lucky and got the last spot at around 8pm. Free picnic tables and bird hide close by which was worth a visit. We even saw a baby highland cow! Great nights sleep as was quiet with only a few passing cars.

Great little spot. 4 bays which fit Campers perfect. There is also a bird hide directly behind which was lovely. A bin at the end of the turning and a picnic bench. Good spot and great view of the sky. Got very very cold.

We stayed here for 3 nights over Christmas. At one point it was down to -6°C and sheet ice! But we managed. It's pretty level. Lovely little spot. A footpath, complete with bird hide, to walk into a very quaint village, which has toilets, open 24/7 and a friendly Post Office/ general store. We had a day skiing at Lecht which is only 7 miles away.

Stunning view of Glenlivet Estate... quiet spot and is a Dark Sky spot so stars were so bright on the clear night we were here... Tomintoul about 2 minutes walk away. lots of walks about for the dogs. bird hide about 30 seconds away from car park. Great spot... Will definitely come back here for a night
Lovely spot on the edge of the village. Road quite busy during the day, but doesn't feel unsafe. Easy walk into town, and nice walks into the country. Excellent mobile reception - over 100mbps download on EE!! Nice flat parking spots, we didn't require any ramps to level us.
Great spot. Minutes walk to town which has good restaurants and pubs and public toilets. Good little store in town for wine or odds and ends. There are 3 of us here now and very quiet. Well spaced.
We had a great night here. Very quiet despite being three vans here. Loads of birds and wildlife. Public toilets maintained by volunteers very handy, a few minutes up the wee path. Unfortunately it was a cloudy night but would be a fabulous spot on a clear night .

Wer keine Versorgung braucht, steht hier super. Allerdings gibt es 500 Meter weiter auch einen kleinen Stellplatz für wenig Geld.
