Great place to spend the night. Quiet and flat. From here I went to sport hotel gym + spa to use the shower and the sauna for 6 euros only. Just go to the back door of the hotel (that is on 7th floor on the hill), ring the bell, they will open. And then go to the sixth floor where the gym is and ask the friendly employees. They even give you a towel
One star if the nightclub is open, until 4am, on the night you are staying. Four stars otherwise. Unfortunately, we tried and failed to find out the club's correct opening times before we visited, so we had to pull our popup roof down and use earplugs. We had no problem entering from the Western entrance, where Google Maps directed us to, in our 5.4m VW.
Bon lloc per fer nit, gran i molt tranquil. Es comença a omplir allà a les 9 d'el matí. Té dos accessos, el del cantó dels bombers hi ha una rampa de baixada considerable, per l'altre cantó, és fàcil si vens de baix de la ciutat, sinó hia un revolt molt tancat.
Accès pas si facile , mais difficile d'y dormir ! des jeunes à pieds ou en voitures y passent et bruyamment toute la nuit ! il y a une discothèque juste à côté .....
Mooi grote parkeer gelegenheid bij brandweer. Wel iets scherpe bochten onder weg voor onze camper van 7,5m maar ging goed. Wij hebben hier niet geslapen maar kan zeker lekker rustig nacht zijn. Wij hebben het centrum bezocht - heel mooi dicht bij een geweldige wol fabriek galerij NEW HAND LAB! Unieke rondleiding en mooie exposities gezien! Bedankt stad Covilhã
Good option to sleep, or just to visit the city. Restaurants near by, safe because of the fire department near. Bathroom was closed because of renovation. Has recycling garbage.
Large free parking, city views, a few minutes' walk from the famous Ponte da Ribeira da Carpinteira.
Lugar Perfecto para visitar la ciudad. No dormimos sólo estacionamos para visitar la ciudad.
Excelent to sleep alowed up to 48 hours (alowed by law) free! You can go on foot to city center (the old part of the city). I like the part you get down the stairs and have 3 restaurants, and you can go to the self service laundry on foot (3min). The public bathroom is under renovation and it’s closed. No services. For any size, of van and very safe. Park near the fire station less noice at night.
Very big free park. Free public WC's, neext to the Fire Fighters (Bombeiros). There is a Pizza restaurant next to the park with free wi-fi and open until 6am! Near to the city center on foot (5min.), next to the free elevators of the city and near road to Mountain. Not a great view but it's ok for one night.
