"York Rowntree Park Caravan Club Site" Ideally located close to the city center (15 minutes walk). Smiling welcome. Pitches with gravel, well marked out. Place as we would like to find more often in cities. Expensive, but what isn't expensive in Britain?

Expensive but nice campground, well organized and clean. Access to town centre along the river was blocked on date of visit due to work on flood barriers.

Absolut top Platz! Unweit der Altstadt, sehr freundlich. Alles da, was man braucht. Wir haben allerdings für einen 6m van und 2 Personen ohne Strom knapp 50 Pfund pro Nacht bezahlt, trotz Camping-Rabatt.

Very clean and well organized spot. People complaining over the closure of the rear gate should have read the leaflet everyone gets entering the premises. Very busy so booking is necessary. Extremely pleasant and helpful people. There is a detour because of work in progress in the neighborhood, but yellow signs lead the new way. 15 minute walk into the old town.

We stayed here last night site is really clean a tidy and pretty good location to York our problem is they have a back gate that leads into the town and it gets locked at 10pm so with the rd at the side of the river being closed it took us over an hour to walk home around the park,

Entry to site is a a drag atm due to environment agency conducting anti flood works. (has to be done) Typical CAMC site, lovely and clean. Pitches on the whole are gravel based and level. Toilets, showers clean as expected. Exit to nearby parade of shops via back gate, key supplied but padlocked at 10pm. Would recommend this site, veery close to York City, approx 15 mins away.

Great site within walking distance of all the sights in York City. best city break campsite. only downside is no grass pitches as all hardstanding and a little claustrophobic - but it is a city centre campsite so to he expected. large park next door perfect for dogs and loads for kids to do. 2021 they are upgrading flood defences so there is a diversion to access site.

Le portail ouvert, j’entre et me gare non loin de la réception pour ne pas gêner. Je n’avais pas réservé, mais est-ce une raison pour me traiter de la sorte. Jusqu’à sortir vérifier que je me sauve rapidement.

Installation impeccable, mais pas de jeux pour enfants. A 53 livres la nuit, c'est horriblement cher. 13£ l'électricité 13£si non adhérents ASCCI. ça grimpe vite
