We were there during the Orthodox Easter weekend, a public holiday, so not much cars in the parking. We slept there 3 nights, Bega river is just opposite, 100 meter walk. Orthodox cathedral and Old town, 10-15 minute walk.
Parking public et gratuit de l’université, idéal pour visiter le centre-ville! Ce n’est clairement pas le lieu idéal si vous recherchez le calme et la nature, la route n’est pas très passante la nuit mais très passante dès le matin. La journée le parking est rempli il faut donc arriver après 18h pour être sûr d’y trouver une place. Pas de problème pour nous avec un véhicule de 7m. 10 minutes à pied du centre ville. Rare sont les parkings gratuits dans cette ville merci de respecter les lieux et ne pas s’y garer si trop de campeurs y sont déjà présents.
Free public parking at the university, ideal for visiting the city centre! This is clearly not the ideal place if you are looking for calm and nature, the road is not very busy at night but very busy in the morning. During the day, the car park is full, so you have to arrive after 6 p.m. to be sure of finding a place. No problem for us with a 7m vehicle. 10 minutes walk from the city center. Rare are the free car parks in this city, please respect the places and do not park there if too many campers are already there.
Kostenlose öffentliche Parkplätze an der Universität, ideal für den Besuch der Innenstadt! Dies ist eindeutig nicht der ideale Ort, wenn Sie Ruhe und Natur suchen, die Straße ist nachts nicht sehr befahren, aber morgens sehr belebt. Tagsüber ist der Parkplatz voll, sodass Sie nach 18:00 Uhr anreisen müssen, um sicher einen Platz zu finden. Für uns mit einem 7m Fahrzeug kein Problem. 10 Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Selten sind die kostenlosen Parkplätze in dieser Stadt, bitte respektieren Sie die Plätze und parken Sie nicht dort, wenn bereits zu viele Camper dort sind.

parcheggio abbastanza facile da raggiungere, un po' stretto se affollato. la sera noi lo abbiamo trovato semivuoto. La sera è tranquillo, durante il giorno c'è un po' di rumore dato che è vicino alla strada. Un bel posto anche per Camper di 7 m.

Ottimo parcheggio per visitare la città ma non per dormire. Molto rumore dalla strada e ieri (martedì 8/08) musica alta dai locali vicino fino alle 3 del mattino.

Excellent place, free, level, very close to the city centre, quite at night. There are multiple parkings on site, the one on the left is with a barrier, the other ones on the right are free. Thanks for sharing!

There is no fence. its open and free. Walki g distance to city center. Perfect for one night.
