Good level car park that’s tucked away. Bit of road noise and no services but good food at the pub.
Grand parking en gravier à côté de l'hôtel Finavon. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire de l'hôtel Robbie et du personnel du bar Daria et Annie. Café, boissons et nourriture disponibles de 11h00 jusqu'à tard. Robbie a déclaré que les camping-cars étaient les bienvenus sans obligation d'acheter de la nourriture, mais nous l'avons fait quand même. Une super trouvaille !
Large gravel parking area next to the Finavon Hotel. Warm welcome from the hotel owner Robbie and bar staff Daria and Annie. Coffee, drinks and food available from 11.00 until late. Robbie said motorhome welcome with no obligation to buy food but we did anyway. A great find!
Großer Kiesparkplatz neben dem Finavon Hotel. Herzlicher Empfang vom Hotelbesitzer Robbie und dem Barpersonal Daria und Annie. Kaffee, Getränke und Speisen sind von 11:00 Uhr bis spät erhältlich. Robbie sagte, Wohnmobil willkommen ohne Verpflichtung, Essen zu kaufen, aber wir taten es trotzdem. Ein toller Fund!

HymerBrian14/10/2023Good sized gravel car park that’s level for the Finavon Hotel. No facilities - self contained units only and please leave no trace. Robbie the hotel owner is an absolute star. Very welcoming and entertaining. Food was superb and really good value. Beer choice a little limited but that’s ok. Dogs made very welcome and Robbie’s Labrador Rosie will come and say “hi”. Large, flat car park which is easily accessible by all sizes of vans/motorhomes. Made to feel very welcome by the landlord and the lovely Rosie (golden Labrador). Bar is dog friendly. No requirement to buy anything but we did anyway. Please pop in, even if it’s just to say hello - it’s only polite if you’re staying! A bit of road noise from A90, but this quietens overnight.

Stopped at Finavon Hotel for meal around 6.30pm after Mount Keen hike. Food and service excellent. Asked if it was okay to stop overnight in our campervan in the large gravel car park at rear and owner said no problem at all. Only ones in the car park, great for overnight stop. Level ground.

Super netter Hotelbesitzer, mit guten tips für die Region. haben als Dank für die freie Übernachtung am Schotter Platz noch etwas an der Bar konsumiert.

Further information re above post. Few minute walk to motorway services with café, spotless toilets and a very well stocked shop.
