Tranquillo e spazioso, all’ingresso della passeggiata nel parco del castello di Balloch.
Parking de bonne taille sans restriction de stationnement. Je ne le recommanderais pas pour les grands camping-cars, mais pour les tailles de camping-car VW, etc., c'est idéal.
Good sized car park with no parking restrictions .
Wouldn't recommend for larger motorhomes, but for VW camper sizes etc. it's ideal.

schniri27/03/2024Stayed for one night with our campervan. Toilets available in the coop. Nothing special but a good starting point for a walk to Baloch Castle.
park4night8272629/12/2023Convenient parkup opposite a woodland walk, co-op and public facilities. Reasonably quiet at night. Level. Enough space for 6m+ motor homes. Bins. Good 4G. Would recommend.
petosayamoto18/10/2023No signs that says you can't spend the night. It's calm and felt safe only thing is the noise from the cars because it's on a main road but at night it's quiet. Went to The Dog House pub, the closest to the park, it's very friendly.

Flacher, geräumiger Parkplatz, der gut gelegen ist. Öffentliche Toiletten befinden sich hinter der Busstation, diese werden jedoch Nachmittags bereits geschlossen. Supermarkt direkt gegenüber. Allzu geräuschempfindlich sollte man nicht sein, da der Parkplatz an einer vielbefahrenen Straße liegt.

we stayed here last night, very quiet plenty of pubs around, co op across the road, chippy close and a good Chinese a 10 min walk away

Keine Einschränkungen, mega viel Platz und Coop öffnet jeden Tag von 7 Uhr morgens bis 10 Uhr nachts (Toiletten!). Keine zehn Minuten in den Ort, in zwei ist man am Balloch Castle Park mit wunderbaren Blick am Castle auf Loch Lommond. Unbedingt zu empfehlen!

Had a lovely meal and drink in the The Balloch House Pub. Don't let the Road near the Free carpark put you off. Had a Really quiet night. lovely place to visit too.

Der Parkplatz ist gut gelegen und die Toiletten im Coop sind ok. Besonders morgens früh sind sie gut gereinigt. Aber man muss zuvor durch den Coop und an den Kassen vorbei. Wir haben einfach abends und morgens was kleines gekauft. Ist aber stark einsehbar und nicht sehr ruhig. Den Platz lieber früher verlassen.

Super pratique pour une nuit. Coop juste à côté. wc ouverts en journée à la station de bus juste en face. Eau froide aux robinets pour remplir nos gourdes. Calme et tranquille.

Pàrquing útil per una nit, sense problemes amb autoacaravanes de més de 7m. Coop davant mateix, amb tenda de fish and chips per emportar en el poble a 5 minuts i parc agradable per caminar fins el castell no visitable i tornada per la vora del riu.

Für eine Nacht gut, wenn man nicht zu geräuschempfindlich ist, aber nur für Kastenwagengröße zu empfehlen. Parkplätze sind recht kurz, aber kostenlos. Keine Beschränkungen. Von hier kann man Spaziergänge durch den sehr schön angelegten Park machen. Gegenüber Einkaufsmöglichkeit.
phmneve24/05/2023Prima plek om een nachtje te blijven staan. Fietspad langs de rivier naar Dumbarton. Wij stonden achterin. Geen last van verkeer. 's Nachts rustig. Het voelde veilig. s Morgens verse broodjes en koffie bij de Co-op.
Martialjean22/05/2023Très bon emplacement en pleine ville. Trois camping-car cette nuit. Aucun bruit la nuit car pas de circulation, une poubelle. Les toilettes situées en face sur le parking des bus étaient fermés ce dimanche. Pas de problème de sécurité du tout. Endroit très pratique mais sans attrait évidemment ! Déjà bien de trouver ça en pleine ville !

We have a 7m Motorhome and we fitted in the corner to avoid the clearly marked parking spaces. Handy for the shop and takeaway. Busy in the morning with dog walkers and shoppers to the town.

Ok for one night if you need to rest - a safe and well lit parking lot. Appears to be the base for the Loch Lomond patrol vehicles so it may get busy in the mornings but I left at 7am and was still pretty quiet then
