Pour la nuit. Enfin un aire où on sait si on doit payer ou pas(on ne paie pas). Sur l'A 23 dans le grand parking du Travelodge et Starbucks. Bruit de la route et du traffic mais on se sent en sécurité.
For the night. Finally an area where we know if we have to pay or not (we don't pay). On the A 23 in the large parking lot of the Travelodge and Starbucks. Road and traffic noise but you feel safe.
Für die Nacht. Endlich ein Bereich, in dem wir wissen, ob wir zahlen müssen oder nicht (wir zahlen nicht). An der A 23 auf dem großen Parkplatz des Travelodge und Starbucks. Straßen- und Verkehrslärm aber man fühlt sich sicher.
Por la noche. Finalmente un área donde sabemos si tenemos que pagar o no (no pagamos). En la A 23 en el amplio estacionamiento de Travelodge y Starbucks. Ruido de la carretera y del tráfico, pero te sientes seguro.

wrobeln30/04/2023Stayed here 29th April after needing somewhere at short notice. Plenty of spaces and added convenience of a Starbucks, Burger King and a Shell garage with Waitrose convenience store with toilets. Slept well and no disturbance apart from at 9.30pm when a guy in a flash BMW pulled up right next to us.
travelingminstrels17/04/2023Right off motorway but surprisingly quiet. Had no trouble parking with jumbo transit van. There is a Starbucks, a late night Burger King (with normal prices) and a Shell station with a Waitrose section. The Shell station store is open 24 hours and has clean bathrooms.

10pm on a Saturday night. No sign of any restrictions. We can fuel up at the Shell Garage in the morning and even get coffee. The burger King also has toilets. So far so good..... Not exactly scenic but ideal on route to Newhaven for a ferry.
