Ruhiger versteckter Parkplatz, haben hier nicht übernachtet, aber geparkt, um die Stadt zu besichtigen. Bei der Abreise zwischen 15 und 16 Uhr sehr viel Verkehr im Viertel, da sich dort auch mehrere Schulen befinden, mit dem man sich durch enge Straßen quetscht, bei der Anreise Mittags aber überhaupt kein Problem.
Quiet spot. Little traffic and was safe. Came here as one next to McDonalds was not available.

After a long day, this formed an ideal stopover, as we didn't want to pay for a site with an 8 hour stop! Close to, but away from the main road and not much noise overnight. We were able to walk the dogs in the nearby Williamson Park or into the cemetery (on lead). The Lodge appears occupied & a couple of cars parked here. Nobody questioned us and had a few polite Hello's from local dog walkers.
Small parking area at the end of the lane by the entrance to the cemetery. Plenty of room for our 7.2m motorhome. A bit of road noise about 6:00am but not too bad. Only 15mins off the M6; useful stopover. No facilities.

Had a lovely night. Really easy walk ~20 min into the centre of Lancaster. There were quite a few more than 5 parking spaces but not very level so bring chocs. Super quiet as away from the main road, we had a few looks in the morning from locals while making breakfast but nothing much. I would absolutely stay again, really great nights sleep.
Stayed here overnight on the 10th of March 2023. Road quietens down, very quiet spot and couple other cars in the small car park. Under trees so lots of stuff did fall down overnight. Very close to Williamson Park and city centre. A very decent and safe feeling spot to camp up for the night
Stayed here one night. It's a little road leading down to the cemetery but very wide. We parked at the top to the left. A bit of traffic through the night but not bad. As said Williamsons Park entrance over the road a few steps away. Also cemetery quite interesting if you like that sort of thing. People walk their dogs in the cemetery. We chose this place as we needed to stay in the area.
Stationner sur le parking du cimetière, à 20 min à pieds du centre. Parfait pour un arrêt visite et repas. Pourquoi pas une nuit.
Nous n'avons pas trouvé de places de stationnement dans cette rue très pavillonnaire. Par contre, à côté du parc et de cette rue se trouve le "Lancaster cimetery" : la petite rue (impasse) d'accès qui mème au cimetière offre de nombreuses places. Pas de problème de stationnement; seul défaut, en bordure de route bien passagère (de 22 h à 6 h, ça va)
