car park is a mess. huge rocks and pot holes to drive over to get in or out. a beggar pretending to wave cars in and out, presumably hoping for money. Good location is only plus point. only parked for an hour to walk the beach.
Grande esplanade pour se garer et passer la nuit avec vue sur la plage de Carcavelos. Il suffit de traverser une avenue pour être sur la plage avec ses restaurants et ses bars. Très bonnes vues. Il n'y a pas de services. Il fait bon se déplacer dans le quartier et si vous n'êtes pas gêné par le bruit des voitures qui passent sur l'avenue, c'est un bon endroit pour passer la nuit.
Large esplanade to park and spend the night with views of Carcavelos beach. You only have to cross an avenue to be on the beach with its restaurants and bars. Very good views. There are no services. It is good to move around the area and if you are not affected by the noise of the cars that pass by on the avenue, it is a good place to spend the night.
Große Esplanade zum Parken und Übernachten mit Blick auf den Strand von Carcavelos. Sie müssen nur eine Allee überqueren, um am Strand mit seinen Restaurants und Bars zu sein. Sehr gute Aussicht. Es gibt keine Dienste. Es ist gut, sich in der Gegend zu bewegen, und wenn Sie nicht vom Lärm der Autos gestört werden, die auf der Allee vorbeifahren, ist dies ein guter Ort, um die Nacht zu verbringen.
Gran esplanada para aparcar y pernoctar con vistas a la playa de Carcavelos. Sólo hay que atravesar una avenida para estar en la playa con sus restaurantes y bares. Muy buenas vistas. No hay servicios. Está bien para moverse por la zona y si no les afecta el ruido de los coches que pasan por la avenida es buen sitio para pasar la noche.
Ampia spianata per parcheggiare e passare la notte con vista sulla spiaggia di Carcavelos. Basta attraversare un viale per essere sulla spiaggia con i suoi ristoranti e bar. Viste molto buone. Non ci sono servizi. È bene spostarsi nella zona e se non si è condizionati dal rumore delle auto che passano sul viale, è un buon posto dove passare la notte.
Grote esplanade om te parkeren en de nacht door te brengen met uitzicht op het strand van Carcavelos. Je hoeft maar een laan over te steken om op het strand te zijn met zijn restaurants en bars. Zeer goede uitzichten. Er zijn geen diensten. Het is goed om je in de omgeving te verplaatsen en als je geen last hebt van het lawaai van de auto's die langs de laan passeren, is het een goede plek om te overnachten.

ElVeterano21/02/2023Stayed here at lunchtime on Tuesday, a holiday. 2 guys working as suedo parking attendants and asking for money when they have parked you. Not a good feeling to the place. Wouldn't stay overnight.
alexandrrrah05/09/2022it's not safe to stay for a night in this area. before we went to sleep we noticed 2 guys were hiding in the trees. 2 a.m and no cars or people around. we closed ourselves in the van and called the police. during 1 hour of waiting time those guys were coming closer, walking around the car and checking our bikes.

It’s a decent place to spend a night, across the road is a beach with bars and restaurants and public toilets and water, however it can be noisy due to main road being next by and also, as it’s a open parking it gets super packed on weekends from early morning as everyone rushes to the beach, and be mindful the ground has some serious bumps so if you are coming in the night watch out
