real gem of a spot. you are really up amongst the clouds. the wind up here is something else but worth it for the view. couple of bars of signal on o2 but we spent more time staring out the window than looking at the phone

What can I say, the views at this point are absolutely stunning. Space for two in gravel but plenty more on the grassy bit before it. Reversed into the gravel spot, back doors open to spectacular views. This is what vanlife is about. a few cars coming and going, we had boy racers getting giddy with their horns and doing donuts, soon left. Nice walk in AM met some horse and cows. Recommend to all!

Super Stellplatz mitten in der Natur. Umgeben von Feldern, Wiesen und Kühen. Ein paar Autos die vorbeifahren aber nicht stören.

Great view, only room for 2 vans on the gravel. Had no bother here.

Amazing views for a overnight stop. If you drive along the road you can see people pulling onto the grass to stop too. Walks along the rolling hills and a 360 view. We stopped when it was misty with rain and so much fog, Cows was so loud but in the morning . Beaut views

Wow! Just wow! Superb locations even better views! So peaceful! Best stopover we had yet! Cannot wait to come back.

really nice spot on top of a hill. space for 2 vans. not quite level but didn't find it an issue. very curious cows who like to come and lick the van. went for a walk and noticed a lot of beer bottles further up towards the farm, but likely from locals who use it as a smoke spot.

Amazing view! Good access to nearby places and the only camping spot around. Space for two vans, with a little bit of an incline, but no biggie. Quite exposed to the wind. We were visited by some bikers in the middle of the night, but they didn't stay long. We picked up some rubbish from the area to keep this place open for the future.

This park up was lovely, amazing views. Very busy with people coming and going till quite late at night but was quiet otherwise. Felt very safe. I had to pick up a load of littler that had been left. Could have been from cars or campers but I feel like it's always good to clear it up to make sure we can still use these spaces.

Amazing view from up here, I did get some noise from cars playing music around 10pm but didn't stay long. The cows also vigorously licked my van at one point which was a bit noisy but I quite enjoyed it! Some great walks around the local area and a self service farm shop in Wootton for some basic supplies, also serves coffee in summer. I had decent 5g here.

Lovely setting! only loses a star because it's VERY exposed to the elements. We stayed on a very wet and windy night and the van was battered, making for a rocky night's sleep. But gorgeous views, noone around, just cute cows as neighbours.

03.09.22 - Spent one night here along with two other vans. There’s only space for 3 flattish spot off a very quiet road. Can see for miles in every direction! 15 minute drive to Dovedale. Good quiet if the weathers bad can imagine it wouldn’t be a great spot as it’s very exposed to the elements!

Brilliant views, stunning sunrise. would stay again and recommend it. two other vans already there in the spot just before. probably space for a couple more. been kept nice and clean and respected

Perfect find from P4n! Bloody beautiful. There were a few people around when I arrived about 6pm but all quiet from around 8pm except for my biker neighbour, Phil, sleeping under the stars! A few lads came on around midnight, weren’t loud at all but it was the only noise you could hear so a little bit annoying. Absolutely beautiful location, perfect sunrise/sunset!

Great views, photos don't do it justice. Popular spot with motorhomes/campervans so would recommend getting there late afternoon. There were cars parked near ish with locals but didn't bother us at all. Highly recommend this spot.

I decided to come here after Alton Towers Park. I arrived and some families were dining here. I had also a neighbour with his camper. It was very quiet place and next day in the morning I woke up surrounded of cows, very nice experience. Gorgeous views and I could see beautiful sunset and sunrise.

The views are amazing. Lots of possibilities to go for a walk. Didn't enjoy the marked spot as much as the cows had just been in the field and getting out of the car required navigating lots of dung. Seems to be a local favourite as lots of cars are parked until after midnight. The fences aren't that secure so be aware of escaped cows making their herd a bit uneasy if you intend to walk past.

fabulous spot with lovely views. On such a warm night the breeze was very welcoming. locals paid a visit in their cars and left their Macci Ds rubbish behind which was annoying. Very quiet.

great place, wonderful view over the plain. just a couple of cars to observe the landscape. dead road at night. we slept alone.

A lovely spot for a camper van but loads of youths playing loud music so we left at 11:30pm.

Spent two nights here in a large motorhome. Spot is good, nice views and quiet. At 06:00 the van got attacked by cows (both mornings). Think they were trying to lick condensation off the sides. Destroyed bike rack and some serious scratches on the sides. Stay overnight at your own risk.

The view is amazing, basic park up, no bins/toilet etc. joined by other people enjoying the view, but all went by 10pm. Had to dodge a few cows on the drive up but well worth it

Stunning views as far as the eye can see! Peaceful night. Description states 4 spaces, I think it's more likely to fit 3 at a push.
