Fab little park up! Views of the loch, little burn running past into the loch. Just remember to stay self contained, clean up after yourselves and not ruin it for everyone else! Had 4g on ID mobile
Parking plat en gravier avec quelques places en contrebas de la route forestière de Carrick, désormais fermée. Endroit très pittoresque avec une vue fantastique sur le Loch, le ruisseau et les forêts tout autour. Tranquille, calme et totalement en pleine nature. Spot est occupé par les randonneurs mais aucun signe contre le stationnement de nuit. Veuillez emporter vos déchets avec vous car il y avait un problème de détritus dans le passé autour de la zone, nous voulons garder la forêt de Galloway ouverte !
Flat gravel car park with quite a few spaces down from the now closed Carrick forest drive road. Very scenic spot fantastic views of the Loch, stream and forests all around. Tranquil, quiet and totally in nature. Spot gets busy with hikers but no signs against over night parking. Please take your rubbish with you as there was a problem with littering in the past around the area, we want to keep Galloway forest open!
Flacher Schotterparkplatz mit einigen Stellplätzen unterhalb der jetzt gesperrten Forststraße von Carrick. Sehr malerischer Ort mit fantastischer Aussicht auf das Loch, den Bach und die Wälder ringsum. Ruhig, still und ganz in der Natur. Spot ist voll mit Wanderern, aber keine Schilder gegen das Parken über Nacht. Bitte nehmen Sie Ihren Müll mit, da es in der Vergangenheit ein Problem mit Müll in der Umgebung gab. Wir möchten den Galloway-Wald offen halten!
Aparcamiento de grava plana con bastantes plazas por debajo de la carretera forestal de Carrick, ahora cerrada. Lugar muy pintoresco con fantásticas vistas del lago, el arroyo y los bosques a su alrededor. Tranquilo, tranquilo y totalmente en la naturaleza. Spot se llena de excursionistas, pero no hay señales en contra del estacionamiento nocturno. Lleve su basura con usted, ya que hubo un problema con la basura en el pasado en el área, ¡queremos mantener abierto el bosque de Galloway!

BlackSurimi01/08/2023Beaucoup de monde autour du lac mais possibilité se trouver de la place tout de même, attentions aux midges, impossible de rester dehors le soir malgré le cadre super.

Gravel car park at the end of a rough road and alongside the Loch edge. We stayed the first night in April and were unfortunately kept awake by some rather irksome lads lads lads, camping at the mouth of the river and blaring out music that was given out free on the last Smash Hits Magazine. No services,bins,signal & risk of overnight rapscallions. View = boovilant lv5.5 so lads excused somewhat.

Fantastic spot, enough room for 4 /5 vans. Very quiet at night, daytime used for parking by walkers / dog walkers. Great place for walking & dogs go across the bridge up into the forest plenty of different tracks to choose from. please take your rubbish & leave no trace they have had a lot of wild campers leaving a lot of rubbish and fire pits
