It's a good place to park in town, it's a park with a playground and cafe, a nice walk or jog, and there's a great shopping center across the street. Flat terrain. Water tap gets clogged.

Nice spot to stop over in the day with a couple of parks for children, walk down the promenade towards the horse with cafes etc. Same as previous post though, there’s a sign now saying no camping and the cafe employévery politely) told us we couldn’t stay overnight.
Nous nous sommes arrêtés pour le déjeuner. Un employé du café est gentiment venu nous dire que nous ne pouvions pas resté "parking interdit au caravanes et autres".

Ottimo parcheggio, con un bellissimo parco molto curato che si riempie di gente del posto nel tardo pomeriggio per fare pic nic. Molto bello il lungomare che porta verso il centro pieno di locali. Ci sono due grandi centri commerciali sull'altro lato della strada.
Estupendo! Pasamos aquí dos noches tranquilas, a pesar de que en la noche hay mucho movimiento pues la gente va a hacer picnic al parque. Cerca de supermercados y centros comerciales.

Die erste Nacht war gut. Die Polizei hat uns in der zweiten Nacht gesagt, dass wir nur bis 00:30 parkieren dürfen und dass wir nicht über Nacht bleiben dürfen. Sonst wäre es ein ziemlich guter Platz.
To tell the truths, there is some noise coming from main road just behind and the airport just a few km away and the locals resting and making sports on the grass. But it is still best place in Canakkale to stay safe, clean and good view. There is free WC in the cafe just 50m away. The municipality provides free internet when you register your mobile. I recommend this place to all.

Great spot, mostly flat. It’s the edge of town so traffic noise, but to be expected. We had a good night. Shopping mall and basic supermarket close by. Nice view of Dardanelles.

Some road noise but quiet after 12pm. A hive of activity very busy area. Had a good night here felt safe would use again. Easy access for all vehicles
Gebührenfreier Parkplatz direkt an der Promenade. Nachts ist hier viel los. Viele Jugendliche und Familien im naheliegenden Park. Wir haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Gegenüber gib ein Einkaufszenzentrum, super praktisch. Außer gibt es ein Spielplatz. Würden den Parkplatz empfehlen.

un bruit infernal venant de la voie rapide, plus celui venu des aires de jeux et bar café voisins sans parler des avions qui atterrissent à l'aéroport tout proche et qui passent pratiquement au-dessus, ça peut dépanner si vous supportez les bouchons d'oreilles.
Prima om te overnachten, vlakbij de promenade en langs een drukke weg, in de avond (doordeweeks) wordt het erg druk. Waterkranen langs de promenade. Grote supermarkt dichtbij.
Good stopover for a night. As mentioned earlier bit noisy at all times as the main road is right next to the parking lot. Lots of young people enjoying the park to late hours. The parking lot feels up in the evening Not complaining after all it is free.
Wir fühlten uns sicher. Die Nacht war nicht wirklich rhuig aber das kann man auch nicht erwarten in einer Stadt. Als wir gekommen sind (Abend), war der Parkplatz sehr voll. Der Tag hindurch war er allerdings leer.
Great spot for our 7.4 motorhome flat with rubbish bins, esplanade, petrol stations, shopping mall, cafeteria just outside. Cameras are installed. next to main road so if you are looking for a quiet place this is not for you, cars kept ongoing all night long! It was ok for us as we needed a place to rest after a full say in Cannakkale.
Parfait en journée, 2 énormes centre commerciaux en face, le bord de mer de l'autre côté, facile d'accès en CC de 7m3. Pour une nuit c'est assez bruyant mais ça dépanne en ville.
Wirklich ein toller Parkplatz, die Straße ist zwar nah aber nicht wirklich störend. Das Wasser ist zu weit weg, zum auffüllen. Tolle Promenade!
Toller Parkplatz. Wir haben uns absolut sicher gefühlt. Kameraüberwacht. Gleich nebenan ein schöner Park, Spielplätze und Promenade. Wir haben bei schlechtem Wetter das wunderschöne Einkaufszentrum gegenüber genutzt. Tolle Teebar mit lecker Kuchen und ein Indoorspielparadies für Kinder.
Handy spot for exploring the city and close by the 2 shopping centres. The road is very busy and loud, but it's a flat place and seems to have CCTV cameras.
Great spot for exploring the town which is about a 30 minute walk away. Two large shopping centres across the road for toilets, or shopping if you're that way inclined. Two water taps on the footpath beside the sea, walk to the sea one is to the right by a play area the other is off to the left. A little noisy if you park by the road but it's free so what more can you ask for.
Very noisy great location, lots of bars and restaurants flat ground will soon have to pay, as payment barrier being erected!
A quiet park area by the coast, at the entrance to the city from the direction of Izmir. It's free for now :) . Quiet and within walking distance of many shops. Unfortunately, there is no water and waste water discharge point.
