I didn't have a chance to enjoy the lake, however the spot was rather quiet on a Saturday night recently. Wish the nettles were cut back, but gosh I'm being picky.

Nice spot. The lake in the moonlight is beautiful. Unfortunately someone has emptied theit toilet tank here so there is an overpowering smell of urine as soon as you step out of the car. Please don't empty your tanks here folks.

Very small lay-by which is easy to miss so watch out on left as you go over a small bridge. Fairly quiet country road check the ground for glass and debris first.

Great lay-by, plenty of room, on a peaceful country road. gap in hedge leads to a stunning lake. Great place for a stopovers.

Great little quiet overnight pull in, on a quiet country lane, beautiful lake just through the hedge

This layby is on the south of the road. Some traffic passing through early evening and popular with cyclists. We picked up some litter and there is some stuff dumped at the back - some tyres, cement bags and rubble - but not unpleasant. Spent a quiet night.

Nice, peaceful spot. there is a footpath a little way West of the layby which takes you to Purbeck heath.
