Great stop. Very quiet. Fairly level. One other van. Nice walks around and can walk from one car park to another off road. Steep climb to bridge in forest. Lovely waterfall. Picnic area.

colincandles15/12/2023Nice spot, this is the north carpark, another a few hundred yards south is the more sloping but not bad. A few dog walker cars early evening then nothing all night, main road is quiet through the night, protected from the wind in here. I had sufficient mobile signal on EE to use laptop. I stayed in December 23 so no other tourists about. Forest walks and waterfall at back of carpark.

SodeBerre25/07/2023Parking nord de Lael forest garden, stabilisé, deux tables de pic nic, possibilité d'une belle balade en forêt de 1.2 km. En prime, une très jolie cascade juste à côté du parking. Pas de poubelles. Bon Trip à Tous !!

très bien pour la soirée ou la nuit au vue de ce que l'on trouve dans la région. en retrait de la route, relativement au calme et en bonus une cascade sympathique à deux pas du van.

Fab little spot for the night! Just of the road, at a nice distance as you can’t really hear cars but are close enough. Nice waterfall aswell just in the background. Very quite, flat parking!! Really happy :)

Nice quiet park up, fantastic forest walk in beautiful forest surroundings. Sheltered spot protected from the elements. Not much phone signal but well worth the stopover.

Perfect for a very quiet night sleep. Room for 3 vans and relatively flat. Waterfall is literally a 10 second walk from your van. Would highly recommend. Take your rubbish with you!

Beautiful spot, surrounded by trees. No wind, quiet, there is some noose of a big waterfall in the back. I guess no one would complain. Beautiful spot, most of the spots are even on gravel. Early september had quite a few midges due to no wind. Can only recommend!

Lovely to be allowed to stay in such a lovely place for free! there are two picnic tables, one of which has a metal plate for hot stoves. No bins, but not a problem for one night. The forest garden is a really nice walk, too.

Super Parkplatz, das leise Rauschen des Wasserfalls und diverse Rufe von Vögeln ist das einzige was man in der Nacht hört! Wir waren alleine hier :)

Un très bon spot pour passer la nuit. Privilégier le parking nord, qui est plus plat et éloigné de la route. Jolie balade bucolique.

War ein wirklich toller Platz, sauberer Parkplatz mit netter Sitzbank und idyllischem kleinen Wasserfall und nur 14 km von der Fähre von Ullapool nach Stornoway entfernt!!

Perfect small parking spot. Due to the L shape of the car park you can't really fit that many campers in. Set away from the road and is much nicer than the other car park down the road. Nice woodland to walk through with Giant Redwoods, and a small waterfall. Couple of picnic benches and good EE 4G signal.

Great little spot not far from Ullapool. More or less flat and hard car park right next to waterfall and woodland walk. Just off the main road but road noise is hardly noticeable.

Stayed here last night, had the place to myself, nice and flat, hardly any road noise, lots of walking areas and waterfall, good 4g phone signal, no bins but no problem for us

09/03/22. Brilliant place to stay for a night. As previously stated, lovely waterfall, fantastic forest walks with plaques telling you names of trees. Saw a Giant Redwood, my favourite tree in the world! Almost level spots, us and 1 other van overnight. Hardly any road noise, and great phone signal. Perfect!

Incredible find right next to a waterfall. Could hear the road slightly, but not enough to disturb our sleep. Beautiful place to wake up to. Shared the place with the pink VW from the photo coincidentally. Only thing that makes it lose a star is could see no bins and no toilets, however only a short drive to Ullapool where you can pay for toilet/shower.

Lovely flat surface. Surrounded by trees and a waterfall. Beautiful walks in the woods . Trees are named so interesting walk.

A nice carpark back away from the road. Spaces for only 2 motor homes or 3 cars. The waterfall was so nice sleeping next to it and you couldnt really hear the noise of the road. A really quiet spot, we was only ones there all night. No facilities but other then that it was fine!
