Flat car park with many spaces, lovely views over the water. Loads of bins, very quiet

Aimed for here but we moved on, right on the edge of town on the seafront but quite industrial and behind a dog walking/kids on dirt bikes bit of field.. Handy for a quick lunch stop, or overnight if nowhere else available but it's nothing special.

Great for us, beautiful sunset, and slept well despite the van rocking in the wind! Emptied black waste in the free disposal point in the carpark and got some water from the Scottish water drinking water fountain marked on this app.

Great for an overnight. Was quite windy (end of Jan) but little noise otherwise.

  • 4/5

Not the best park up ever, but quiet and they are retarmacking the main sea front road at the time of the review. Trains on railway noisy behind as the stop just past the bridge.

Great spot, bit of a ropey walk home from the town in the dark. No street lighting. Quiet and plenty spaces though

stayed the night up in the corner to keep the wind off. very little traffic .few dog walkers about a 20 min walk into Ayr town centre

Great stop for lunch overlooking the coast. Hardly any other vehicles or passing traffic. Sun is shining, kettle is boiling… what more do you need ?!

Quiet spot. Had no issues, but there isn't much to do around this area.

26.08.22 - Tired after a long drive stopped and spent the night here. Not the greatest park up bit weird getting to it through what feels like an industrial estate. Plenty of spaces and flat. A lot of rubbish around bins overflowing. A few cars came in the night just parked up with engines running and lights on. Feels like a bit of a dogging spot. Sea view was nice in the morning.

  • 4/5

Lovely quiet spot with a nice sea view. Popular spot for dog walkers with a green area behind where we parked. There are bins but no other facilities so we had to walk to town to find bathrooms.

  • 5/5

Beautiful views across to Arran. Spectacular sunset viewed with all the friendly locals. We stayed Sunday night and was an extremely peaceful night's sleep. Some young'uns enjoying music, but totally dead by 11pm. Would definitely stay again, but would probably stick to Sunday nights, pure bliss! There also litter bins here. We parked near enough at the end of the road before the tight bend.

  • 4/5

Quiet wee spot next to shore, plenty spaces. good grassy area for exercising dog. peaceful nights sleep. and shore walk into either Ayr or Prestwick. no facilities but plenty bins.

  • 4/5

Lovely spot at end of carpark next to sea wall. Great views of ocean from windows. Quiet but popular with locals (mainly dog walkers) & nice walk alongside golf course.
