looks ok for overnight here and grounds pretty hard plus can walk dogs here. dog bin in the car park as well

ChrisBowden14/08/2023A great sheltered spot just off the road and right next to the heath. Quite uneven and with large potholes, but fine for a campervan and you could squeeze 3 in if you are careful. Little traffic after 10 or before 7.30, a couple of dogwalkers but everyone was very friendly. Peaceful night listening to the nightjars churring and grasshoppers chirping. Like TinaKidney said – please respect this site

4 stars for the huge potholes.. but a couple of dog walkers, hardly any traffic at night. just me and the storm to keep me awake

Quite an uneven parking area resulting in some giant muddy puddles... It was an extremely peaceful night though and I imagine it's beautiful here in the summer!
TinaKidney10/11/2021Found this Jewel by accident. Reluctant to leave a report as I would love to keep this secret. If you park sensibly, you could get a couple of vans on here but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE respect this Gem. Do not upset the locals as this will disappear like many more have. leave it as you find it and if some moron has left litter or whatever, please clear it up.
