Great quiet place to stop. At 6.45am a friendly local was very enthusiastically greeting us by using their car horn as they drove past. Morning hahaha.

Nice little spot. room for 3 or 4 Van's without being on top of each other. no signs banning overnight parking. 2 dog walkers passed without comment. Great spot for stargazing. few cars passing until 22:30 then really quiet. Free-range cows around but they seem pretty nonchalant as long as you leave them alone
s.ju.15/08/2023Es stimmt alles ,ruhig und schön,aber der Ort liegt im Naturschutzgebiet und hier sollte nicht übernachtet werden. Ein freundlicher Anwohner wies darauf hin.

Great overnight stop, pretty level and quiet. A herd of wild ponies grazing around the van was a bonus. 4g on EE and O2, space for four or five vans.

Stayed here in our 7m Motorhome for one night to break up our journey down into Cornwall. Lovely spot, a few other vans around. I think there was space for about 8/10 vans. Felt completely safe with our two children with us. Waking up to the sunrise was beautiful, with sounds of cows and pheasants near by. We would definitely think about stopping here again.

Best night's sleep here! Woke up, looked out of the window, and I have cows and horses peacefully walking around eating. Beautiful spot.

Stayed overnight. Really peaceful. Pretty level. Plenty of room - parking our 7.3m van wasn’t an issue. Saw cows and horses whilst walking our dog on the moor. Good 4G on EE.

Fab place to pitch for the night. No facilities but dead quiet and did the job. Only complaint was that we didn’t see any cows or horses!!

A unique and mystical remote Spot, where the only noise at night is a horse lying next to your van and snorting. When you wake up and open your window, you are greeted by the herd of wild horses sharing the parking spot with you.

Great place for overnight stop near Colliford Lake. Lots of wildlife including a deer! No cows and only one tooting passer by.
