there's now a 'no overnight parking' sign
Grande aire de stationnement de jour à côté de la route principale, peut accueillir 2 à 3 camping-cars plus petits si vous faites face à la route. En raison de l'espace étant dans une pente, nous nous sommes garés face à la colline, mais un autre camping-car pourrait se garer à côté, etc. Les habitants semblent l'utiliser comme un parking pour se garer tout en promenant leurs chiens. Vous DEVEZ laisser l'accès au National Trust Gateway à tout moment.
Large day parking area next to the main road, can accommodate 2-3 smaller campervans if facing the road. Due to the space being on a slope we parked facing the hill but another campervan could park next to it etc. Locals seem to use it as a parking lot to park while walking their dogs. You MUST leave access to the National Trust Gateway at all times.
Großer Tagesparkplatz neben der Hauptstraße, bietet Platz für 2-3 kleinere Wohnmobile, wenn er zur Straße zeigt. Da der Platz an einem Hang lag, parkten wir mit Blick auf den Hügel, aber ein anderes Wohnmobil könnte daneben parken usw. Anscheinend nutzen die Einheimischen ihn als Parkplatz, um dort zu parken, während sie mit ihren Hunden spazieren gehen. Sie MÜSSEN den Zugriff auf das National Trust Gateway jederzeit zulassen.

Parked for one night. Relatively quiet during the night. Excellent location to head to studland beach

parked here for only one night because the occasional passing cars in middle of night sounded horns loudly presumably locals discouraging its use. Left early to allow dog walkers to park.

No traffic, safe spot and really nice walk on the golf course. Space for 3 campers. Amazing sunset on the walk. Dog walkers in morning and evening.
thortravels.be05/04/2022Slept perfectly fine. Almost no traffic and great hike possibilities to Old Harry Rocks and Swanage. Please dont be the guy parking sideways so nobody else can park. If parked correctly there is place for 3 campervans or 2 big mobilhomes

AshleyMiddleton16/09/2021We stayed here last night after scouting out the other local spots. The other one just down the road looked fantastic but was a bit busy for us so we stayed here. One other van with us. was a quiet night. Some road traffic in the morning but we are heavy sleepers so no issue for us.

Definitely recommend. No signs prohibiting overnighting and apparently regularly used. Just respect the no parking in front of the gate and try to leave early as it’s a regular parking spot for local dog walkers.
