MH parking without services

Encamp, Carretera dels Cortals d'Encamp

Motorhome parking of maximum 48 hours and its free. Spectacular views in the middle of nature. The only thing you can hear, the cows that are in the mountains. There are no services here the sign does provide some confussion as it is indicating that services are availbale at another site. The drive up this road terminates at a ski lift and is very steep and winding, so caution to ice and brake fade on the way down the mountain. Can be very cold at night even in the summer.

Espectacular sin palabras, lugar muy tranquilo, se escuchan las vacas y caballos pastar por la mañana temprano. Por la noche increíbles vistas y tranquilidad. Volveremos!!

Las vistas espectaculares y el entorno para pasear una gozada. La subida con nieve tiene que ser una aventura y bajarla ya ni te cuento, llegamos a bajo con los frenos oliendo a quemado.

Pàrquing amb unes vistes fantàstiques. Hem dormit 3 autocaravanes i molt tranquils, només es senten les campanes dels animals

19-20/09/2022 Naast de skilift op 2000m steile haarspeldbochten. Buiten seizoen geen services, lift ook gesloten. Start van mooie maar meestal zware wandelingen. Fantastische panoramas.

Crec que el comentari anterior s'ha equivocat de lloc perquè aquí només hi ha el telecabina. Lloc espectacular fins a les 9h del matí quan engeguen el telecabina. Es pot baixar a peu fins a un bulder que té una escala interior i es converteix en un mirador, més avall hi ha un rierol on hi ha un petit pont tibetà molt xulo.

El sitio tiene buenas vistas y es un buen punto de partida para excursiones pero está al lado de un restaurante donde celebran bodas y si te pilla alguna vas a tener ruido toda la noche.

Très bien pour une nuit ou deux. Nous sommes montés tranquillement sans problèmes avec un 3.5 t en plein été, mais effectivement ça grimpe. La vue est jolie.

Great Two night spent here. Parking area at the very end of road under cable car station, about 6 spaces. Views amazing. Very peaceful when cable car stops at 1730pm restarts at about 0915am. Great hikes around and you’re brave enough the zig zag cycle down but remember you gotta come back up! downside is it’s becoming a bit of a dog toilet, pick it up and bin it dog owners. Leave no trace campers

Brilliant place to spend the night very quiet and peaceful, the views are amazing. Cable car can be noisy just b4 it closes at 1730. If u want to go on the cable car get a ticket at the bottom b4 u come up. We paid €20 each, I think that's a day pass. There's a good route for walking or mountain biking near by. The road getting here is steep with sharp turns, but it's worth it at the top.

vue extraordinaire assez facile pour monter les services sont sur une autre aire plus bas vraiment calme le téléphérique s'arrête vers 17h30 et redémarre vers 9h

Carretera de montaña con alguna curva cerrada, pero se sube sin problema en autocaravana grande, aunque no tengas experiencia, como nosotros. La vista es increíble y el sitio muy tranquilo, salvo algún coche que sube a ratos. Ahora el funicular no empieza a funcionar hasta las 9 o así. Hay un cartel que dice que hay servicios pero no hay nada, solo el estacionamiento, pero vale la pena.

Arrivée vers 21h, on va se promener avec les chiens, ça semble paradisiaque. Qq jeunes qui font des allers-retours dans les lacets avec la musique à fond, mais ça va. Jusque vers 23h où ça se transforme en rallye : départs en trombe, klaxons, freins à main dans les virages, musique à fond, etc jusque vers 2h. Et enfin un réveil délicat à coups de klaxons et turbine par les télésièges à 7h45.

Vue à 180 degrés juste magnifique emplacement camping car 48h gratuit, attention pas de service en hiver. Possibilité de prendre le funiculaire pour allez au restaurant d'altitude mais pas de redescente en raquette car pas de tracé.

Schöne Aussicht, zwischen 10:00-18:00 ist der Skilift an und extrem laut. Wie die anderen schon sagten, nicht in der Wintersaison zu empfehlen. Sehr schöne Wanderwege.

Como comentan más abajo, sobre las 7:45 vienen a poner en marcha el funicular, hace bastante ruido. Las plazas están muy mal niveladas, no se arregla con calzos. Eso si la zona es muy bonita y tiene unas vistas espectaculares.

Endroit très calme avec une vue imprenable et magnifique sur les montagnes d’Andorre ! Nuit fraîche mais plaisante sur un parking avec emplacement réservé pour van.

Beste Aussicht und Ausgangslage zum Wandern und Klettern. Alle Plätze sind leicht schräg. Direkt neben der Mittelstation der Bergbahn. Diese startet etwa gegen 9:15 Uhr und beendet den Betrieb gegen 17:00 Uhr. Nachts aber sonst ruhig.

5 plazas para AC pero no dormimos allí porque había jóvenes con música alta en el coche. Dormimos 4 campers unos metros antes junto a un edificio de madera. No se escuchaba la música. Espectacular mirador, precioso atardecer y lugar ideal para ver el firmamento. Se ve la franja blanca de la vía láctea y el 27 de agosto vimos estrellas fugaces. Hay marmotas, un río y un puente colgante cerca.

Beautiful views and very quiet, although despite the sign saying there were services available, we could not locate any and had to leave, perhaps could have been because the ski station was closed? But no services to be seen. Great for hiking, cycling and MTB. Basically get water and basics before coming up.

Keinerlei Service, sehr viel Publikumsverkehr, gegen 1-3Uhr Jugendliche laute Musik. Schade um die anstrengende Fahrt zu dem SP, einzig die schöne Aussicht, wurde aber wieder durch die Störung der Jugendlichen relativiert.
