Car park near the beach and reasonably priced. Can park overnight at a flat rate. It is a narrow steep track leading down to the car park so not for the faint hearted but we managed to get our 4 tonne machine down there. Longer vehicles make sure to park down the bottom with the back extended over the grass as they do speculate you have to be parked ‘in a bay’ only. Easy to get down to the beach and a lovely walk along with food/drinks/ice cream shop.

Great parkup!! very surprised to find such a great stopover in Bournemouth toilets were available all night by the look of things, water bottle filling stations and bins nearby, 3 minute walk to a great beach, very quiet nights sleep although we did stay out of season can imagine summer would be very busy. Keep the area clean and hopefully the council will allow more car parks to be used like this

  • 4/5

Really great location, short walk to the beach and fairly quiet (off peak season). bins, little kiosk, toilets, water points, a couple of pubs nearby as well. Fairly cheap overnight stay November 1st -March 14th (around £7-10), but price will jump to ~£25 overnight from March 15th

The car park was as stated by previous comments. It was noisy till 11pm with lots of youths and cars from above venue. It is school holidays and a Thursday. Toilets were clean. A lovely walk along the beach and found another spot at Chines next to the Rockwater restaurant car park with a motorhome on it and toilets. Directly onto the beach and flat.

  • 4/5

£3.00 overnight and £3.40 daytime parking during Winter with no lighting at night but great quiet spot. Comes alive with dog walkers and wild swimmers in the morning. Toilets were grim when we arrived but cleaned later. No bins but plenty along the promenade. Plenty of room for a 7.5 MH at the woodland end. Some smaller spaces on a slope.

Had peaceful 24hrs overnight parking. Only vehicle after 11pm. 7.3m long motorhome. Single track entry but doable out of season. Gate locked at 11pm. Toilets clean. Steps to beach. Rockwater cafe 5mins walk. Good service & food. Walk left from car park to Bournemouth. Walk right towards the Jazz Cafe and Sandbanks. Wild swimmers early morning and few cars turned up to walk dogs.

  • 4/5

Good spot with sea view. Fair few others parked up. Very busy when arriving but it was the hottest day of the year. Few local kid partying till late but no issue. Toilets open but fairly dirty. £3 for parking 10pm to 8am.

  • 5/5

Zunächst fahren Sie durch ein Wohngebiet. Eine Seitenstraße führt zum Parkplatz. Es wird hauptsächlich von Anwohnern genutzt. Wasser und Toiletten sind vorhanden. 10pm - 6am = 3 pounds 6am - 10pm = std/Abrechnung empfehlenswert ist die app: PayByPhone

Great spot. Stayed last night no issues. Very quiet. 30min walk to town centre along the beach. Great place to go for a morning dip. Only negative is toilets none are open until 9am I think but Tesco Superstore is 4 mins drive away and opens early.

  • 3/5

Does say no sleeping overnight on the signs

  • 5/5

Great spot stayed for 2 nights in a motorhome

  • 5/5

Came back to stay here. Great location. Parking is expensive but so is everywhere else in bournmouth.

  • 2/5

Found carpark. Not particularly flat and absolutely empty. Kinda lonely empty…. Now charges about £18 for overnight stay so didn’t bother can’t remember exact amount but it was expensive. Plus point is you can pay online if you really want to stay!

  • 5/5

Lovely place, amazing views, we didn’t have a problem, no trouble or noise, just the sound of the waves and the view if you get a front spot is amazing, we only paid £4 for over nights stay, this was due to it being off peak season, in summer the price goes up, there is toilets on-site open from 9am and in the day it does get busy, you can walk down the steps to the beach too, lovely area.

  • 5/5

Lovely spot. Expensive during day, (£17.80 for 14 hours for example) but flat rate of 2.40 10pm-8am. Great access to beach. Loos. Flat car park.

  • 5/5

Brilliant spot, flat rate overnight fee. Very busy in the morning but quiet overnight. Signs said gates locked, but they were left open while we were here. On site loos - again - supposed to be locked overnight.

  • 5/5

Great spot for over night parking for all size vehicles. We arrived later at around 11pm it was still quite busy however plenty of space for our LWB campervan. There was some music at the venue overlooking the beach going on until around 11.45 but after that was lovely and peaceful. Over night parking 10pm-8am £2.40. Would recommend parking down the bottom if you're a larger vehicle.

  • 5/5

We stayed on Sunday night, fab spot would definitely stay again. Very quiet, only van there. We paid £2.40 for the night and made sure we were gone by 8am. No noise at all from residents, although probably because we were right under the thunderstorm all night!!

  • 4/5

Parking quite expensive. Quite close to the beach. Says no sleeping however we didn’t have a problem. Nice walk down the promenade. Lots of teenagers in the area.

  • 5/5

Our best park up to date. Quiet at night, even with a wedding going on in the event venue. Sundown on the beach, walk along the prom was amazing. Woke up to only the sounds of nature with a walk on the beach and in the forest. Gem of a place

  • 3/5

youths around in the evening , but all ok

  • 2/5

Spent the night here (Thursday) busy with cars coming in and out until about 2am, bin lorry came in at about 4am and sat there with flashing lights on for while, lots of noise and people around all night which is a shame as the other reviews of it are good and I’ve been here in the day and loved it

  • 4/5

Great little spot. Pretty expensive car parking but it’s right next to the beach. We parked around the corner to stay out of sight and didn’t have any issues. Great beach if your in to kiting or windsurfing

  • 4/5

Cracking place to park for the night, so quiet. It's right next to the beach as well. Park on the lower section in the top left area where you are nicely out of the way. The sign at the parking meter says 'no overnight sleeping' but we had an undisturbed night. At this time of year when it's quiet there are no issues. Follow the co-ordinates, not the post code

  • 4/5

Stoped overnight 8/8/21 with our motorhome no problems flat spot round the bottom of the carpark With no height restrictions which is rare in Bournemouth £2:40 10pm-8am

  • 4/5

Good place to park close to the sea front with reasonable prices. The road in and out is very narrow however we managed to get our 7.5m down there and we also saw a fire engine who managed it. Make sure to overhang the space at the back if you are a long vehicle.

  • 2/5

Bournemouth council have put signs up saying no overnight sleeping. Stunning location for the day however. There is a metal gate which looks like it gets closed at night. No height restriction.
