great little spot tucked up in the lay-by. little wind not a lot to be honest. very little noise from the road. please respect the area and keep it clean! leave no trace. otherwise great spots like this will be stopped.
Feenmidds18/09/2023Parked up in the more set back track just beyond the layby (layby has space for a few campers, the track is suitable for 1. we were in a 7m motorhome & fit fine. Slightly sloped but perfect with the rockers set up. idyllic setting, very quiet. surrounded by heather, great views & mini loch. Beautiful dark skies at night. we weren't bothered by anyone. please leave it as beautiful as you found it.

pulled up for the night here. was just what I was expecting. was only me here. someone parked up for the night in the large lay by. very quiet, keep it clean. Nice little lake to wake up to in the morning. Good phone 4G signal even so nothing here.

This was a phenomenal spot! Zero facilities so keep it clean (toilets only 4min drive into Tongue) but tucked up a little slip off the lay by. Only enough room for one camper and you have to get in early - after I parked two other campers came and went. Don’t miss the sunset in this spot it’s heaven!
jw96403/05/2023Great little spot. We drove up the track from the lay-by so we were tucked away off the road. It was just us for the night with the odd vehicle pulling in to use the lay by. Beautiful views!

Many of the locations are right on the road in lay bys. This one is just off the road by the Scottis Water site. This feels safe and very quiet with the bonus of seeing the sunset.
AlexanderValerie20/07/2022Büsche sind weit in den Weg gewachsen. Mit normalem Wohnmobil ohne Kratzer nicht zu erreichen. Auch nur Platz für 1 Fahrzeug. Die anderen erwähnten Plätze sind direkt neben der Straße an einem Schotter Platz der aber kein passing place ist. Ruhig wird es in der Nacht bei beiden sein. Dieser Parkplatz ist zur Zeit nur etwas für Van oder Bus.

Abgesehen vom Standplatz auf schmalem Feldweg breite Parkbucht (nicht nur Ausweichstelle!) mit recht ebenem Untergrund, auf der man ein paar Meter von der Straße entfernt mit Blick auf den Lochan Leacach (mit Seerosen!) gut und ruhig übernachten darf. Nachts praktisch kein Verkehr. Keine Infrastruktur, abgesehen vom ziemlich kalten Weiher. Platz für zwei oder drei WoMoe.

Amazing spot! Very quiet plenty of space there is a lay-by and a little spot up the dirt track past the Scottish water facility but plenty of space to allow access

Beautiful spot, as someone else has mentioned there are 4 small rocks put across park up but nothing explicitly stating no overnight parking. Dead quiet in the night, there is a Scottish water facility right next to it (unmanned, likely a water tower) no lights or sounds far away from road up small dirt track which is easy for any vehicle. Take away your rubbish and it should remain usable :)

Lovely quiet spot just off the main road. We were the only ones there and felt super safe. Really beautiful to wake up to also!

Nice spot for a night, with a nice loch nearby. Stayed in the lay-by together with 2 other Citroen relay sized motor homes. A small van had the spot on the dirt track. Not too much noise from the road, we had one passing driver who did the horn blowing trick at 6am as he passed. Bit of litter when we arrived so did some picking to clean it up. Please leave no trace if using.

Beautiful and secluded, there's even a cuckoo to keep you company! Sadly there was some toilet paper there, don't forget to leave no trace!
