Heerlijke rustige nacht gehad. Stond hier op zaterdag helemaal alleen. Zeker aan te raden.
Merveilleux endroit calme pour passer une nuit. Le parking est spacieux et assez plat. Pendant la journée, il y a du bruit de la route très fréquentée qui passe. Mais la nuit c'est très calme. Le parking est aussi le début d'une belle promenade de seulement 3 km dans les collines. Il y a donc aussi de nombreux habitants qui veulent se promener ou promener leurs chiens. Le centre-ville de Lauder est accessible à pied. Il y a quelques restaurants confortables et un petit supermarché.
Wonderful quiet place to stay for a night. The parking lot is spacious and fairly level. During the day there is some noise from the busy road that passes by. But at night it is very quiet. The car park is also the start of a beautiful walk of only 3 km into the hills. So there are also many locals who want to walk or walk their dogs. Downtown Lauder is within walking distance. There are a few cozy eateries and a small supermarket. Please do not use this site as a public toilet or for emptying waste water The local people have witnessed many doing this. If it continues they will block the access.
Wunderbare ruhige Unterkunft für eine Nacht. Der Parkplatz ist geräumig und ziemlich flach. Tagsüber gibt es etwas Lärm von der stark befahrenen Straße, die vorbeiführt. Aber nachts ist es sehr ruhig. Der Parkplatz ist auch der Beginn einer schönen Wanderung von nur 3 km in die Hügel. So gibt es auch viele Einheimische, die spazieren gehen oder mit ihren Hunden Gassi gehen wollen. Die Innenstadt von Lauder ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Es gibt ein paar gemütliche Lokale und einen kleinen Supermarkt.
Maravilloso lugar tranquilo para pasar una noche. El estacionamiento es espacioso y bastante plano. Durante el día se escucha algo de ruido de la concurrida calle que pasa. Pero por la noche es muy tranquilo. El estacionamiento es también el comienzo de un hermoso paseo de solo 3 km hacia las colinas. Así que también hay muchos locales que quieren pasear o pasear a sus perros. El centro de Lauder está a poca distancia a pie. Hay algunos restaurantes acogedores y un pequeño supermercado.
Prachtige rustige plek om een nacht te verblijven. De parkeerplaats is ruim en redelijk vlak. Overdag is er wat geluid van de drukke weg die er langsloopt. Maar 's-nachts is het erg stil. De parkeerplaats is ook de start van een prachtige wandeling van slechts 3 km de heuvels in. Er parkeren dus ook veel locals die willen wandelen of hun hond uitlaten. Het centrum van Lauder is op loopafstand. Er zijn een paar gezellige eetgelegenheden en een kleine supermarkt.

BigFlorence19/08/2023Lovely little place with great walks for the dogs. Nice loop alone the stream and it's close to the Southern Upland Way. Large area generally level. Peaceful and quite. Frequented by local dog walkers morning and evening. Three other vans on site last night but still lots of space
NessMatt8607/07/2023it was ideal quiet location as mentioned in other comments. we were not only van there when arrived late but loads of room. In morning there lovely walk and locals very friendly to chat too.

Good size flat area. Lovely walk straight off of the car park. Very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend and use again. Only one other person in a camper van. Good 3G and 4G on Vodafone. Transmitter only at the top of the hill. You can miss it if you do the walk.

travelfee4419/05/2023Ein geschotterter Parkplatz, sehr ruhig, ohne jegliche Einrichtung. Idyllische Wanderung ab hier möglich. Wir standen hier eine Nacht. Bitte haltet den Platz sauber und zeigt kein Campingverhalten. Nur so können wir uns solche Orte bewahren.

Excellent nights sleep here. Great phone and satellite tv signal. We have an A Class and usually find things a bit tight but this is a big almost level secluded spot yet within sight of residential houses so it felt safe. Another van arrived around 11pm. Will come again

very quiet, did get a fright when cars came along main road with headlights on, but soon got quiet. Next to the river and southern upland way. beautiful spot and good for a night's kip

Stays here a couple of nights. Fairly quiet after 10pm but various cars arriving before. Good spot

lovely quiet carpark. limited road noise. Had a lovely overnight. not the flattest but found a spot up the back out of the way. chippy in the village is nice.

This lovely little car park is surrounded by trees and is at the end of Mill Wynd and local walkers say the nearest postcode is TD2 6QF, but just drive to the end of Mill wynd and it is there, don’t turn into Lauderdale Drive! Bins, but no other facilities. We found the WiFi was good here. Start point for a walk.

schöner, flacher Schotterparkplatz. wir hatten eine sehr ruhige Nacht. Wie üblich, abends und morgens Hundespaziergänger. Freundliche Menschen. Bitte Platz sauber hinterlassen. Abfalleimer vorhanden.
