Sidmouth,Salcombe Hill Road
Parking in front of the Norman Lockyer Observatory. Very quiet and slightly set back from the road. no trash so take the trash home. Excellent starting point for hikers along the Southwest Coastal Path. Good 3g / 4g. No problem here - the occasional dog walker. No toilets nearby. Sidmouth town center is approximately 1 km away. You can walk along the coastal path to get there in good weather. Nearby town of Ottery St Mary, ideal for small independent shops and cafes. Close to Exeter by car or bus from Sidmouth town.
