Beautiful spot just off a quiet road. Narrow country roads and difficult to manoeuvre a large van on and off the car park but we’ll worthwhile. Two car parks in close proximity of each other, one with a sign explicitly saying no overnight parking, the other without signs. Stunning view and lots of wildlife. A couple of people were also parked there to climb the boulders but left through the evenin

Nice quiet little spot.. couple different pull in places... Few dog walkers around but other than that a peaceful little spot surrounded by walks ! We managed to find a little piece of level ground to park. No signs saying no overnight parking.

Great views, off main road, not flat but manageable

Lovely little spot. Us and one other van stayed the night. Not too flat but manageable. Super spot to see the stars on a clear night- they are incredible!

Standen hier für eine Nacht und es war wunderschön. Ein anderer Campervan kam später dazu, sonst waren wir allein. Die Straße daneben ist sehr wenig befahren und durch einen Hügel kaum zu hören. Auf dem Platz kein LTE, oben am Felsen aber super Empfang. Und natürlich die irre tolle Aussicht über Widecomb und das Dartmoor.

Although it is convenient to pull into a layby to admire the view and have a cup of tea, overnight sleeping in vehicles at the roadside or in carparks is not permitted under National Park byelaws. You may get a fine.
