I was a bit concerned by reviews mentioning ‘dodgy dealings etc’ but was pleasantly surprised. Suggest you park closer to the entrance, away from the facilities. Yes, youngsters and cars came and went but there was no ‘racing’ or use of horns or loud voices. Our experience was definitely a positive one. We stayed on a Sunday night

Great spot. Rainy day. Did some hiking. Loved the view. No disturbances overnight. Joined by a couple other campervans. Everyone was night. Cute little town to walk or drive into. A great if you need to stop near Glasgow.

We stopped over night arrived 4pm left 9:30 29/9/21 our camper is 6 m long quite a few cars coming and going until about 11:30 pm, we didn’t have any problems,toilets closed at 3:30

Loads of space to park up, arrived after 5pm and left before 10am. Was a lovely quiet night looking out over the loch, will use again next time we are in the area.

Fine for an over night stop. Car park on the shore of Lochwinnoch. Sailing school next to it. Public toilets, but strange opening times - 1115 to 1545hrs. Car park was quite busy and quite a few cars turned up in early hours. Spar shop and pub a short walk.

Love this spot and the local village and pubs. Nice view and great for water sports and also nearby bird reserve. Spoke to staff on site. Cafe/shop is now open during the day but takeaway only as they can’t facilitate Track&Trace while it’s a requirement. Unfortunately the toilet/shower block suffered a burst pipe during lockdown and it’s also closed for repairs for the foreseeable.

As with other visitors lovely location. Cafe at the top of Church st with toilet for cost of a coffee. Visitor centre open but toilets closed due to virus. Busy all day on a lovely day Cycleway tarmac. I would stay again.

Wir sind abends im Dunklen angekommen und haben nicht viel erwartet. Der Ausblick morgens direkt am See, mit Sonnenaufgang und wunderschöner Landschaft im Hintergrund hat uns absolut überrascht und begeistert.

Gute Möglichkeit für eine Übernachtung. Allerdings bis späten Abend noch etwas laut, da doch einige PKW‘s gerne mit laufendem Motor hier stehen. Durch die Hygienebestimmungen waren die Toiletten natürlich geschlossen. Ansonsten angenehm!

Super spot au bord de l'eau. Très calme et à plat. Robinet d'eau potable devant le bâtiment. Toilette ouverte de 9h15 à 16h15.

Good spot on the loch side, few kids in cars late at night, but not loud, it's midweek and -2 though.

Update 2018 August: this place is great. Clean bathrooms open 9am-4pm and a fully stocked Cafe during those hours. The lake is beautiful. Be aware that kids come to party here late at night (it was a Friday night) and one car had their music too loud but when we politely asked them to turn it down they were extremely polite and did so.

Parking très calme (peut être grâce à la période) face à un plan d'eau... Toilettes et café à côté... Seuls bruits : les canards et autre oiseaux qui peuplent l'endroit ?

A nice quiet place to stop overnight but be aware that the toilets are only open between 9.15am and 4.15pm. No height barrier. On the edge of the Loch.

Personnel du centre très accueillant, demander pour remplir en eau (potable) le robinet se trouve au fond près de l'établissement. Douches pour 2.5 £ /personne. Point de recyclage carton, métal, plastique, verre.
