Great spot. would definitely use again! 25 mins to bike park wales which is ideal for us. toilet block was shut, I'm guessing as it's winter. Great food with a good selection of both food and drinks, and great staff. £10 a night is spot on!
This was a great park up. The pub also does meals,which are lovely, and local ales. The pub staff were friendly and helpful too. It’s all within walking distance from the Big Pit Museum, about a 3 mile round trip. The museum was also really interesting to visit.
Great spot, beautiful views. Warm welcoming pub with good ale and cider on tap. very reasonable prices for a pint. only £10 a night per pitch. Toilet and water available. Will definitely be staying again.
10£ pour un van 2 personnes 1 chien. pas de douches pour le moment. WC, eau propre et eau sale disponibles. emplacement libre dans le champs, pas toujours très plat mais correct même sans cale. le restaurant est excellent et pas très cher, le personnel très sympa. calme.
Great walks nearby. Steam train track stops at the pub. Clean toilets open all night. Reasonably level pitches. Some run down caravans and litter on site, but an absolute bargain at £10 for 3 of us and a dog in a campervan. Fully recommended!
Wir haben hier eine Nacht gestanden. Schöner Platz mit nun neuem Betreiber, der gerade dabei ist diesen entsprechend mit Duschen, Toiletten und Versorgung auszustatten. Sehr gutes Essen im Pub!! Sehr empfehlenswert!! Wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht. Wasser konnten wir problemlos auffüllen und das Schwarzwasser im Gulli entleeren. 10 Pfund für Übernachtung ist sehr fair. Klare Empfehlung!!
Great pub with fantastic staff. A last minute add on to our trip and we will definitely be returning. Beautiful scenery, great conversation and lots of laughs in the pub.
Stayed overnight for £10. There’s a toilet/shower block but it’s not yet finished - there are pub toilets you can access anytime. The chemical waste disposal is currently a man hole without a tap - I think this is also something they will have in future. Good 4G on EE.
Wiese, Keile erforderlich, Kohlemine sehr gut erreichbar, direkt neben Fahrradweg, schöne Landschaft am Keepers Pont, sehr gut gelegen, wir haben 2 Nächte verbracht, 10 Pfund pro Nacht, sehr empfehlenswert
Warm welcome from the owner. Toilets and toilet waste facilities. Pub was closed whilst we were here but there are at least two takeaways locally that deliver to the site and we had some great Kebabs from Kebabplus. Nice views of surrounding hills. slightly sloping so you will need ramps in a camper or motorhome. Will mark as a favourite and call again.
Very welcoming an friendly place to stay, we have been a good few time now an love it as its only up the road from us, highly recommended food is beautiful an good value for money!
