(9550) Mariager - 7 Hohøj Skovvej

Wunderschöner Platz in der Natur zum Verweilen. Wir standen dort für eine Nacht alleine mit einigen Hochlandrindern als Nachbarn. Ein kleines offenes Ausstellungshaus, ein Toilettenhaus (völlig ok sogar mit Klopapier, Waschbecken und Seife) und einige Picknicktische und Mülleimer. Hatten selten so einen tollen Platz zum Freistehen.

We had this to ourselves, and it felt like one of the most magical stopovers we have encountered in 15 years of motorhoming. Sharing with others, it would soon feel over-cosy. Fabulous location right next to the largest Viking burial mound in Scandinavia. Small museum always open plus highland cows as neighbours plus we saw hares. Peaceful night.

We spent one very quiet night here.Only one local car passed by all night. Interesting site of the largest burial mound in Denmark. Local walking routes marked on the plan.

Absolut super, Nachts sehr ruhig, ansonsten aber von Einheimischen gut besucht. Ein kostenfreies "Museum" und Toilette da sowie Tische, Bänke Papierkorb. Ein Platz unter der Eiche am Infoschild ist sogar eben. Nutzt für die Auffahrt nicht die Google Variante, sondern folgt ca. 400 Meter davor dem Schild zur Hohøj über die Hohøj Skovvej - deutlich einfacher.

Wir wollten diesen Platz aufsuchen. Das Navi führte uns am Fjord entlang, dann sollten wir rechts in die Østergade einbiegen. Dort steht allerdings ein Schild, das die Einfahrt für jegliche Kfz verbietet. Also haben wir etwas anderes gesucht.

Brilliant spot. I endorse all the other positive comments. In addition, I recommend the yellow marked walk which is varied and pretty.

Very nice and quiet place. We spent a night here. The toilet was closed.

Un peu comme un secret spot ! Nuit paisible et petit déjeuner très agréable sur les tables de pique nique avec les vaches comme spectatrice.

Tres bonne surprise de decouvrir cet endroit au bout d'un chemin carossÉ. nuit calme. tout est a aprecier : vue, vaches, tables, wc, poubelles et aussi une petite maison bien amÉnagÉe en point i nous etions seuls:nuit du 8 au 9 aoÛt 2022.

Nous y avons passé une nuit très calme. Magnifique spot, grand terrain de pelouse avec tables de pique-nique. Super pour les enfants !

Stayed for one night. Very quiet, even on a Saturday. Some hikers until 20:00 then silence. There were two toilets and which are supposed to be open until 01/11. Great view from the top of the hill and some nice cows to pet in the morning:-)

Nice quiet area beautiful nature, great views from the top of the burial mound, we were 3 motorhomes there overnight.

Absolutely no problem with accessing the place

Leider beim ersten Versuch mit Van nicht bis zum Platz geschafft. Mit etwas Anlauf geht es, zurück ist aber mindestens genau so abenteuerlich. Hier hat es die letzten Tage viel geregnet und es ist nur ein schlammiger Sandweg, der Bergauf führt.

Prima ruhiger Ort. Anfahrt evtl etwas spannend wenn das Gefährt zu groß ist. Mein Womo hat 5.6m und konnte gut zum Platz kommen. Lediglich reine Schotter Straße, kann also etwas schlammig sein bei starken Regen.
